Attended a Savannah Banana vs The Firefighters baseball game in Fenway Park. What fun! It was a sell out crowd. Of course you get the historic environment of Fenway complete with hot dogs, cold beer and Bostonians. Watch for lotteries to get ticket to a Savannah Banana ballgame. You won't be disappointed with all the action and entertainment non- stop from 4 hrs before the game inside begins - they are entertaining you outside the gates.

Wow what an amazing stadium and time we had the other day!! Came here with about 60-80 guests (special event/trip) The ease of parking, getting in and to our seats was effortless - the overall experience was just 100% Such a wide variety of food, drinks, snacks.. stadium was very clean compared to others I have been to in the past - prices were decent/to be expected

3.5 stars The park itself is great! The amount of history here is unmatched and the energy and experience really are one of a kind. Bathrooms are clean enough but could really use some upgrading. Concessions on the other hand are really lacking. The hot dogs are awful. No relish or onions at the condiment stations. The chicken tenders we had were fried in old oil and had a weird seasoning that gave them a strange taste. Everything is overpriced which is to be expected. Expected much better in terms of food. You're better off getting an Italian sausage outside the park.

This was really special. My top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality requested a visit nearby at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and in turn, I got to choose a museum of my own to visit too. I am a diehard Mets fan, so this obviously isn't my home turf and I was aware pretty early on (a little too young to actually remember it myself) that something pretty traumatizing happened to this particular team in October of 1986 down in Queens. But if you appreciate baseball and its history, you have to put this on the list - it's too important not to. We did a stadium tour this past Saturday afternoon. Given that it's mid-March, unfortunately we couldn't watch an actual game but this was the next best thing. The tour itself lasted about an hour and started at the team store on Van Ness Street before quickly moving across the street into Fenway. The one minor ding I would give them is that the tour actually started a little early and we almost missed it. Our tour was slated for 4pm and when we got there at 3:55pm, they were already talking to the group and providing instructions. So I'd make it clear that while the actual tour might start at 4, they clearly want you there before then. What a cool building. The minute you lay eyes on even a small fraction of the park (obviously a distinctive shade of green) is really something, and that feeling didn't diminish at all once we got inside. My favorite part of any ballpark experience is the minute you walk out into the stands and see the field open up in front of you, and this one definitely hit. It helped that it was sunny/nice out and the grass hasn't been trampled on yet by players this season, but everything looked immaculate (with I guess the exception of the concession areas, which have a lot of garbage cans, tables, piled up, ready to get disbursed for Opening Day). We spent a few minutes inside the Park just past where you'd normally scan your tickets, then in the actual stands on the third base side with the original seats (appreciate the history there, not interested in sitting there for a three-hour game). That was followed by a short walk to the top of the Green Monster, a stop in the press box and then over to the Sam Adams concession area in right field where Ted Williams' iconic red home run chair is. It ends in the Royal Rooters Club, which has a mini museum and another concession/bar area presumably open during the season. It's tough to pick a specific highlight from the tour, which was honestly all pretty cool. I didn't really care too much about the photographic displays, for instance, of prior musical acts that played at the Park, or other types of sporting events - not only are those displays very accessible to a fan just wandering around the park during a game, but it's not specific to baseball, which was why I was there. The press box was cool just because it's not typically open to the public during games (the First Amendment issues alone!), and I got to pay subtle homage to Gary, Keith and Ron (if you know, you know) as I walked by the visitor's TV room). The Green Monster is just legendary, so it was awesome to be on top of it looking out over the field. My general seating preference at a game is the upper deck directly behind home plate, but I would make an exception here. Our guide Matt was excellent. Very knowledgeable, very Boston and very good with a crowd. He mentioned that he's a middle school teacher, and the speaking style definitely tracked with that. He was funny, self-effacing and kept the tour moving. Definitely a huge plus, and in my experience with tours, not always a given. The duration of the tour was ideal too, at least partially in our case due to the nippy weather, but this might have been not quite as fun if we were dealing with hour two of 40 degrees and windy out there. Truly awesome. Next stop: Wrigley.

This review is only based off of walking around the outer perimeter of the park and checking out their huge gift shop. Yes, I know walking around the perimeter is nowhere near as cool as being inside of the actual park, but when we arrived, we missed a tour by minutes and didn't feel like waiting around until the next one. We went inside the gift shop and it was massive and filled with every Red Sox memorabilia that you could imagine. We walked around for a while - I didn't buy anything except for a refrigerator magnet since I am a diehard Giants fan, but my friend ended up buying a "Green Monster" long sleeve t-shirt. As are most gift shops, everything was very pricy, but I can see how the gift shop can get packed during game days. It was cool to walk around and check out all of the signs on the perimeter and check out the statues of legendary players. We visited a day or 2 after the Red Sox lost in the Wild Card series so it would have been a much different story had they won - we would have been there during the playoffs which would have been incredible to see and experience. I hope to one day actually visit inside of Fenway Park and check out a game!

While I'm not a baseball fan, I did take a lot of photos of Fenway Park while walking past it and can appreciate the history of the stadium in Boston. I also visited the shop across the street, and there's plenty of merchandise for fans. The day I went, there was a Jonas Brothers concert happening, so it's nice to know that they host concerts as well. My Chemical Romance performed here for their Long Live the Black Parade tour, and the clips I saw from that show were amazing.

This game was amazing had so much fun. The food and the drinks were awesome. The players did OK recommend the whole family. It's awesome

I've been outside of Fenway Park and inside the dugout bar they have, but this was my first time watching a game here! It's quite obvious this is one of the oldest baseball stadiums in the US from the architecture and small details, but it's beautiful in its history. Plenty of food to try. As much as I love ballpark hot dogs, I wouldn't recommend the one here. I had a hard piece of white bread (not a bun) with a small hot dog. Quite underwhelming. The nachos were big and flavorful. We were super lucky to have covered seats since it was raining when we went. The staff handled the rain well though and were quick to act!

Fenway is fun for so many reasons! Enjoyed volunteering for the Spartan event and got to experience the park in new manner (been here for concerts, ballgames, running events). The event was well attended and enjoyed working with Fenway team to ensure a safe and secure event at the park!

For our 4th of July Boston trip, I knew we had to go see a baseball game at the famous Fenway Park. My Mets and Yankees friends in New York were not happy about it, but I told them to get over it. You can't deny that Fenway Park isn't a huge part of classic Americana and Boston culture! Like many of the other old school stadiums that haven't really been changed much (re: Wrigley Field) the seats are tiny and they were built to accommodate people who were on average 5 inches shorter and probably 50-100 pounds smaller haha. Unfortunately depending on who sits next to you, you might be forced to endure massive skin to skin contact the whole time which is NOT ideal on a very sticky summer night. Yes, that happened to me... That being said, I still had a great time. Because the seats are so narrow and rows long, it was very difficult to get up at all since we were seated in the middle of the section. Whenever a beer guy came by, I literally had to pass my money along the row, and then the row would pass me my drink back which was quite hilarious. Definitely an experience!

Visited the park for the tour. It was extremely informative and they took us through many behind the scene areas. Very well worth it!

Got to cross off a classic during a recent trip to Boston. Having not been in an old stadium in some time, this definitely felt like old school baseball. Being a taller person, seats were uncomfortable, but I suspected thay going in. We didn't stay in our seats long, which was just fine. There were plenty of nooks and crannies to discover and there were some standing ro sections available as well. If you are a baseball fan, Fenway is a must-go.

A group of us will be attending a concert at Fenway this summer. Are there specific parking lots where we can tailgate prior to the show (even if not using a grill)?

First time going to Fenway in August!! Where should I sit?

The environment created by the building is undeniable and I honestly think that the TD Garden staff does an outstanding job getting people into the venue safely and quickly and there are friendly faces ready to help you throughout the stadium's concourses.

I am still angry enough weeks later to come back and write this review because the way TD Garden…read morehandled this was ridiculous. First, the bag policy. Apparently customers are just supposed to magically know about it. My wife and I bought tickets for the TWICE concert about a week before, and nowhere on the ticket site was this made clear in a way that actually helped us. We only found out after arriving that only bags under a certain size are allowed inside. If your bag is too big, you have to go downstairs to bag check and pay $15 for them to hold it. So not only are you inconvenienced, you also get charged extra because TD Garden could not be bothered to clearly warn people ahead of time. If we had known, we would have left the bag in the car. Simple. What made it much worse was security. I do not know if they work for TD Garden or some outside company, but they were some of the rudest, most useless people I have dealt with in a long time. From the second we got there, they had attitude. Instead of acting professional and helping people, they looked more interested in flirting, acting cool, and doing the bare minimum. They stopped us because of my wife's bag. My wife is pregnant, so she had important things in it that she needed. Instead of explaining anything clearly, all they kept saying was, "Your bag is too big, go downstairs." That was it. No real directions, no patience, no help. Since it was our first time there, we asked where exactly to go. Same answer: "Just go downstairs." We ended up following other confused people to find the bag check area. That made it obvious this was not just us. A lot of people clearly had no idea about this policy either. Honestly, it started feeling like a scam. So many people show up unaware, get sent downstairs, and suddenly have to pay $15. That should have been clearly stated before people even bought tickets. Then came the worst part: getting the bag back. After the concert, every single person who checked a bag had to go to one single bag claim area. One. For an entire event. So now you have one huge crowded line of tired, frustrated people all trying to get their stuff back at the same time. Whoever thought that was a good system should be embarrassed. My wife is pregnant. She could not stand in that packed line that long, especially with nowhere to sit. There were no chairs, no sitting area, no accommodation, nothing. Just a crowded mess. And because it was only the two of us, I was not about to leave my pregnant wife standing there alone while I ran around trying to fix it. So we explained the situation to security and told them clearly that my wife is pregnant and could not stand in that line like that. Their response? "Get back in line." No concern, no solution, no basic decency. Just "get back in line." One guard told me they could not help. The guard my wife spoke to laughed in her face. Laughed. That was the point where this stopped being an inconvenience and became disgusting. The only reason this got resolved at all was because another person near the front of the line was kind enough to get our bags for us. A complete stranger showed us more compassion than the entire security staff. To that person, thank you again. We are still incredibly grateful. That is why TD Garden gets one star. If you are going to have a strict bag policy, clearly warn people before they arrive. And if you are going to force people into bag check, then at least have a better system and some basic accommodations for people who physically cannot stand in a long crowded line. Most of all, hire better security, because the people working that night were rude, dismissive, immature, and completely unhelpful.

There's a schedule for the Bruins practices online, and they are free to attend. When you enter on the first floor, you have to walk up three levels to get to the practice. Elevator did not work for us going upward as you needed a card to unlock it, so beware you'll have to walk up the stairs. Weirdly enough it worked for us going down? On the second level, there's a Pro Shop with Warrior Ice Arena merch, as well as a booth where you can rent skates. On the third floor is where the practice takes place. They also had a snack shop with hot foods, drinks, and snacks available to buy. Didn't get anything but lots of people were. Online the practice said it began at 11am and finished at 1pm. We got there a few minutes past 11 and the B's had already begun. 12pm rolled around and everyone started to leave the ice. All of us in the stands were confused as the website said they practiced for another hour. Didn't know if they went to take a break, or if it finished early. I asked a lady working at the rink and she told me since it was a game day, practices are optional for the team and most days they don't run until 1pm anyway. I know it's their practice but you really are just a spectator. They make no announcements, and the rink doesn't interact with fans (except to give a kid an occasional hockey puck). I wish there was a little more structure from the actual ice rink. They invite fans to come but we're left up in limbo...just a pre-recorded announcement over the loud speaker, "hey practice is over now, thanks for coming, go Bruins" would suffice. Parking is iffy as there's 2 hour free parking on the streets, or $20 flat fee on weekends in the garages. We thought the practice would be longer so we parked in the garage. But now knowing it might end early, free street parking would've worked just fine. As for the rink, I can't speak to the other things they offer, but just walking through I noticed signs for public skate, skate rental, skating classes for kids and adults, and even birthday parties. Anyway it's still a cool experience either way. Now knowing it's more chill and can end early, I'd be more prepared for next time.

Saw Boston College take on the University of Miami at Alumni Stadium on a brisk Friday evening…read more Despite long lines managed to grab a beer during halftime, but did not order any food. Quality I spent many Saturdays cheering for the Eagles football team during my college years and it was a blast coming back. For an exciting televised match-up, fans from both teams packed the stadium creating one of the best atmospheres I could remember at Alumni Stadium. However, even on days when the stadium is empty for a dud of a game, it still makes for a fun afternoon. The one caveat is always the weather, which can quickly ruin a good time. Quantity Alumni Stadium has a capacity of around 45,000, but you will hardly ever see it close to that packed. It does not compete with some of the mega stadiums around college football, but it ensures everyone has a good view of the action. Value Even for the bigger games, tickets are not too hard to come by and usually are reasonably priced. It usually is a matter of how well the opposing team travels. Beers and food are overpriced in the stadium, but that is to be expected. Ambiance Alumni Stadium sits on the Boston College Chestnut Hill campus right outside the city of Boston. It is strictly a college stadium and serves a smaller campus population, so does not compare to the mega stadiums for professional teams or many public universities. Its most recent renovations came in 1995, but the stadium has been maintained well and still feels relatively new. Massive screens on the ends make sure you can enjoy the game regardless of where you sit, but most seats keep you close to the field. Proximity of the field to the nearby reservoir does create a breeze, which on already cool days can feel even cooler. Just make sure to dress warm. Crowd The stadium is often empty for Saturday afternoon kickoffs, but for a big game under the lights the place was rocking. Unfortunately the stadium was not ready for the big crowd, and limited bathrooms and concession stands meant lines stretching around the stadium. However, the fans are some of the most laid-back and polite people you will meet at a college football game. Service While Alumni Stadium is a modern facility, it struggles with large crowds. Even with staff working fast and hard, lines quickly form near the concessions areas. The good things are they are adept at getting folks into the stadium quickly and despite the more crowded game, the bathrooms were kept in good shape. Parking The campus has limited parking on an average day, so during football games things get out of hand. Car service companies or public transportation are the better options to get to and from the stadium. Extra Even as a graduate of Boston College with many fond memories, I have no illusion that Alumni Stadium is a great place to see a game. However, it gets the job done and the friendly fans make it a fun atmosphere to enjoy some football.

Tricky tricky. I spent an hour looking for parking cause they're lot is specialized for orange…read morestickers which I have no idea what that means. But the stadium its self is confusing. Concession stands could be a bit better too. I got a puni lil hot dog for 4.50 so no need to stress how expensive that is. Also, they should separate the line for food and beer. Most ppl are ordering beer while you wait in a tremendously long line to get your expensive food. Guess it's to be expected since it's a stadium but at least dont give us the smallest hot dogs in the world. I get huge filling ones at Costco for 1.50 that's including a drink.
