I was surprised that these kinds of shops were still in business. The last time I tried to look for…read morea suit was high school prom! There were alot of options and colors...just not in my size or body type. In the end, I settled for a black shirt and pants, which I requested to have tailored. Then, asked staff to help me pick out shoe and a tie to properly prepare for a wedding coming up. Didn't get a jacket because I don't foresee me using this more than a handful of times, especially for the $400+ price tag. Definitely would come here again, makes my life so much easier when people who actually know clothes pick it out for me. I need to update my wardrobe anyways.

Mike said this is what we've always done.... no sir re. Never ever have I paid 85$ for a tailoring fee. Sorry gents. Very quick to let me walk, them social/ and customer service skills for sure were not top of mind for this man today.. I've always had wonderful experiences where I've been treated very very well here. This time it was not good... never good to have a surprise when you go to the register, and worse when you feel like you were a transaction. I really hope you can pull it together, cause that's just about the hardest no as I can get to ever wanting to shop here.

Not that sex toys are inherently funny, but I'm sorry, I can't read the words "7 inch alien cock dildo" and not at least giggle. Honestly it's worth looking at just to read the hilarious names that people give sex toys. I had never considered what a dragon penis would look like until walking into this store and my life is better for having done so.

What a very fun store!…read more When I'm in need of some cool toys or gag gifts, I head over to Spencer's Gifts. Spencer's Gifts has pretty good selection of cool stuff including dorm related decor, party lights, gifts with R-rated twists such as risque items, games, toys, novelties, posters, t-shirts, caps, beer logo stuff, keychains, stickers, magnets, costumes, and much more. There are plenty of edgy gifts to choose from including edible underwear and Playboy Bunny logo stuff. The prices here are on the high side, but they always have sales and clearance items. I've been shopping at Spencer's since I was a kid and I love to splurge, especially on the sale and clearance items. In the past, I've bought so many awesome things here such as mini ball pendulum, replica traffic lights, police lights, a disco ball, neon posters, glow stars for the bedroom ceiling, a talking Pee Wee Herman doll, Chucky doll, music stuff, fart powder, and other cool gag gifts for myself and friends. I just got myself a giant remote control on sale for $9.99. If you try to mess with me, I'll have to unleash the wrath of my SWEARING MIDDLE FINGER.KEYCHAIN! d 8-P

I have never been to a store and had an employee convince me not to purchase something in under 2…read moreminutes. I visited this store earlier this week with my teenage son, we were browsing through the store when he noticed a coat that was definitely different compared to his original style (whatever the kids wear these days). My son was very excited about this coat, checking himself out in the mirror, styling it with a black cowboy hat. Just as I was considering purchasing the item here comes Chris a floor employee, when asked by this nice woman who I believe was the store manager what he thought about my son and his coat, Chris proceeds to pause and stare at him then continues with "well maybe for Halloween, he looks like Jeepers Creepers, why are his jeans so baggy". The woman tried to help by reminding Chris this might not be his personal style but my son looks great in the coat (It was a trench style coat). I did not engage and try to address this at the moment because I was already exhausted after a long day but I have the energy and time today! Chris continues to negatively comment about the look. Chris you clearly need more training, the coat was not for YOU it was for the customer, just because you are too short for the coat the weird, uncomfortable comments weren't necessary my son is 16 he's a kid, it's not his fault he's 5'10 while you are 5'3. I also tried to submit my information to receive rewards, Chris continued to put in my wrong address after I had repeated myself over 3 times, I also saw as he typed in the wrong email address when I was spelling it out for him. I have yet to receive anything via email in regards to this store. As soon as we got in the car my son mentioned how uncomfortable Chris made him feel with his comments. Thank you Chris for the uncomfortable experience I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

Right when you walk in you are greeted! While shopping associates ask if there any sizes they can…read morehelp you find and are very quick to get back to you! They have a lot of sales and discounted items! Needed shoes in a pinch and glad I came here!

As a longtime customer of Alec's Shoes in Nashua, the experience I had today was incredibly…read moredisappointing. Over the years, I've spent thousands of dollars there and referred numerous family members and friends because I believed they stood behind the products they sold. Unfortunately, that trust is gone. I purchased a pair of Clarks on May 9th specifically for an upcoming vacation. After wearing them ONCE to dinner, I realized they were too snug and needed a wider size. I returned to the store June 9th with the original box and receipt, fully intending to exchange them for the exact same shoe in a wider width. The only issue? The soles showed the slightest amount of wear from being worn once. Despite the fact that I was requesting an exchange--not a refund--and despite what I believed was compliance with their stated return policy, I was told the shoes were no longer in "new condition" and could not be exchanged. How exactly are customers supposed to determine whether a shoe is truly comfortable and fits properly without wearing it beyond a few steps in a store? Shoes often feel different after an actual outing. Refusing to exchange a pair that was worn once for a few hours is an unreasonable policy, especially for a retailer that charges premium prices. I have never minded paying more for quality footwear and good customer service, but this experience demonstrated a complete lack of flexibility and customer appreciation. They clearly don't value their customers and don't care about anything other than making that initial sale. There are plenty of other shoe retailers offering the same quality products with much more customer-friendly return and exchange policies. After years of loyalty and thousands of dollars spent, I can no longer recommend Alec's Shoes and would caution others to carefully consider their return policy before making a purchase. If you wear the shoes even once to determine whether they actually fit comfortably, don't expect any accommodation if they don't work out. **I was so surprised by the way they handled the situation that I took photos of the exchange to share with this review**
