We used to LOVE the Warren but then Regal bought it... they cut staff in half which has led to terrible service and deteriorating cleanliness. Last time we went there were 2 servers behind the concession counter and 20 people in 2 lines. It took us 15 min to get Popcorn. They also changed the Diner and at least the mozzarella bites were terrible. It's $10 for about 12 tiny bites, half of which had no cheese in them. We didn't order anything else after seeing that. read more

Never had a bad theater experience here. IMAX is great. Being able to reserve seats is a plus.The suites & smaller viewing rooms are a little spendy, but great for "date night." Even the regular stadium theaters have comfortable seats & good sound. read more

Prices have gone up since regal took over and the quality of things have gone down. For example, the popcorn used to be in an actual bucket... now it's in a flimsy bag. The staff is generally nice, and I heard from one employee that regal cut their wages. Seems like a bad place all together. The only plus side is the warren theater rooms. The IMAX theater is great. I really enjoy when the movies I am wanting to see come out in that theater. We always go early to grab a bite to eat at the restaurant and any leftovers we can bring with us so it saves us at the concession as well. I have been a loyal customer since they opened, and even when they switched to Regal I still went. Now, the biggest draw is eating and drinking before or during the movie, which has been ruined with the "streamlined" menu and plastic wear. My wife and I went last Friday (09/13/3019), thought our movie was that day but it wasn't. So, we had the evening free and decided to eat dinner. The food is subpar to say the least especially with the prices, not to mention, silverware and glassware had all been replaced with plastic. Fast forward to this past friday where we go, like always, to the director suites. Nobody walks us back to our seats, we are just told what theater. Then we sit down, and try the food one more time. I order, and after our drinks and food were attempted to be delivered to different people, we finally get it. Unsweetened tea with splenda, cheesecake, large popcorn, large Modelo with salt and lime, and pretzel bites. What we recieved, an unsweetened tea (no splenda), small Modelo (no salt or lime), small popcorn, pretzel bites that were microwaved, they were all wet and some hard as a rock and some soft, and a frozen piece of cheesecake... While I can dismiss most of it, the waiter felt he could store my order from memory, what I can't dismiss is a $10.00 piece of frozen cheesecake. Whoever took a good menu, changed it to "streamlined" garbage. I pay a premium to sit in a small theater and not be bothered by idiot's on their phones, amd have a drink and sometimes something to eat. After sitting through almost thirty minutes of previews, and getting service and food that isn't even close to what the company feels they should charge for it, sucks... If we go back, I will stick to the food at the concession and just take it upstairs. read more

This theatre is just fun. While I am all for saving some money and heading to the discount theaters, they just don't hold a candle to the overall movie experience. The atmosphere is amazing. The walls are brightly colored with fun, whimsical murals. When I walk in it always reminds me of one of the big, old theaters you might go see Casablanca in or Gone with the Wind. It isn't cheap - we spent $65 on tickets and another $30 on two drinks and three packages of candy, but it was worth it for a special night out with the fam. The reclining chairs in the theatre itself are wonderful. I was chilly and with the click of a button, my toosh was being warmed by the heated seat. I reclined back, propped my feet up and completely relaxed. The rise and fall of the curtain revealed the screen and was so fun and nostalgic. My little girls had never been to this theatre and they were cooing and awwwwing the entire night. While this might not be our one stop shop for all movies, this will definitely be the place we go for special occasions. We had such a great time and the staff were all smiling and helpful. Highly recommend if you want a great date night, or an evening the whole family will enjoy! read more

I'm really not a huge movie go-er, as I'm able to wait the few months for a movie to come out for rent than pay the cost of a night at the movies. This visit was on a holiday afternoon (President's Day @ 1pm) to see Lego Batman with a 4-year old and wheelchair-bound adult. Firstly, allow me to say the handicapped-accessibility was sufficient and seating in the theater is appreciated (middle of the audience right off the ramp); however, the steepness of some ramps made it difficult for the wc adult to maneuver. I had to balance two drinks, a popcorn, push a wheelchair, and keep an eye on an excited kiddo.Secondly, the place was packed and the three people working the main snack bar moved like low-battery robots (no facial expression/no urgency). My suggestion (if able) is to split the party for one+ to stand in line while others grab the seats of choice before the theater fills. There is also a small arcade in the main lobby that can distract youngsters for a bit if needed. Booster seats are also available in the main walkways should small children need extra height to see over the heads in front of them during the movie. On cleanliness and appearance, it is quite clean from the restrooms to the theater seats and the wall decor is appealingly colorful. I have experienced the upper level bar which is reserved for ages 21-up and enjoyed the atmosphere during socialization before our feature began. Pricing is to be expected, and I have not eaten more than popcorn so can not rate the full meals. I will recommend the directors seats when available-- personalized reclining spacious seats. Finally, the IMAX really is worth the expense to be submerged in the movie-going experience. I do enjoy the big red curtain (all theaters) that is lifted before the lights dim to give that 'old-time picture show' feel. The Warren is a great indoor event for family or friends from pre-teens to temporarily kid-less parents. It is welcoming for the casual afternoon or intimate date-night. It is my preferred theater of OKC for the picture and sound quality, and I will return. read more

First I want to start by saying this review is ONLY GEARED TOWARDS THE BALCONY DINING EXPERIENCE. The rest of the Warren such as the viewing experience, screens, surround sound, seats, etc. is always exceptional. That being said.....oh man, where do I begin? Okay first, when you go up to the balcony they card you right at the top of the stairs. Right? Because you have to be 21 to be allowed up there. Well as soon as we tried to order drinks after getting to our seats we were asked for them again!! I mean, WHY? So in the dark we had to find our ID's again and show them. Small potatoes, but a nuisance nonetheless. Then we ordered our drinks and food. For food, we ordered the cheese bites made with Gouda and mozzarella and the chicken loaded nachos. Omg, both were horrid. The cheese bites had this disturbing wang to them, tasted sour and old! It was also supposed to come with a chipotle dipping sauce and instead came with ranch. Now I love Gouda, but that was not a Gouda cheese mix flavor! It tasted like it had gone BAD. So then the chicken nachos arrived and in the dark they looked great, but the chicken was nearly raw and lukewarm and the cheese sauce was cool. And the chips were SO SALTY I couldn't stand it. We sent those back as well! Now mind you, I used to be in the food biz years ago so sending back food makes me cringe, but this stuff was terrible. So then we ordered hot wings and popcorn in place of our disaster choices. The wings we barely good enough to eat, so we inhaled the popcorn. Small bonus - they kindly gave us the popcorn for free Here's the thing, I know there's been a biz owner change and everything isn't going to be the same. The nachos used to be incredible along with everything else! But when you do a management/ownership change things shift around, I get it! But you have to quality control the food and our movie experience was all over the place because the whole time we had to send things back and wait for new items. I'm usually more of a Redbox on the sofa kind of gal but I do love the Balcony at the Warren. It is totally worth the ~$18/ticket splurge to sit in comfy seats way up high with no viewers under 21, but when I found out that the Sunday matinee is $12, I was a goner. The balcony combines my love of films, snacking, and boozing all in one- all without leaving the comfort of your heated seat! The only problem I have is seeing the overflowing plates of nachos, hearing the clank of plates, and smelling the popcorn makes it hard to eat healthy and makes me want to join in the junk food fest. I caved quickly last Sunday and ordered a chocolate shake with a shot of cherry vodka (and yes, they will do that for you!). All in all, Warren is worth the splurge-- for the tickets, the drive and the calories! read more

If it weren't for the obviously modern machinery like ticket ATMs outside and video games within, walking into Moore's Warren IMAX facility is like stepping through a time portal. Marble tile and deco designs combine with well-appointed salon lounges and other touches to provide a luxurious atmosphere. Behind the facade, the projectors have been upgraded to the latest 4K technology, with many theaters capable of Sony 3D and 48 fps High Frame Rate (HFR). That's technical gobbledygook that means the theater has up-to-date geek awesomeness for great-looking pictures. The sound is top-notch, too. Ticket counters are available at both the main box office and the IMAX, and tickets for all theaters may be purchased at either. Tickets can also be purchased in advance online at MovieTickets.com with a $1/ticket surcharge. Tickets must be picked up at one of the counters. Ample parking exists all the way around the theater complex. There is a security presence at all times, which increases with busy crowd traffic. Security officers (off-duty police) continually roam the premises and oversee the safety of the guests. The seats in all of the theaters are comfortable, rocking folders with thick cushions and padded backs. In the Balcony, the seats are wide and heated and set in a "love seat" style. The side arm rests are equipped with heat switches and service call buttons to order food, drink and refills. The Balcony seats are in a mezzanine level above the two large general auditoriums, which includes "Oscar's," a bar/lounge/diner. This restricts the area to those age 21 and older. The Director's Suites are intimate 30- and 40-seat luxury theaters also offering the service and amenities of the balcony area and Oscar's. These seats, however, include heating in both seat and back cushions and feature motorized recliners. The food for Oscar's, the Balcony and Director Suite theater areas is provided by the diner downstairs in the south lobby beside the big staircase. There is seating in the diner, but the food can be ordered "to go" to be taken with you to your theater seat - just be sure to bring condiments and plenty of napkins so you don't have to come running back! Food selection runs from finger food like cheese fries to broad selection of sandwiches, standard pizzas, and a few dinner plate selections like chicken-fried steak and pasta dishes. There are also some desserts I am told are "mmm ridiculous" according to my companion (as I watched her eyes roll back in her head from a flood of endorphins). Portion sizes run towards the larger side, with a slight premium on the food prices. Downstairs "to go" is in styrofoam clamshells. Upstairs, food arrives at your seat on big plates with silverware. Heavy, steady wood tables are provided for seat-side service. Not to miss a detail, proper cloth napkins are provided as well. Warren is to my knowledge the only theater in town where one can get ACTUAL butter on the popcorn - remember buttered popcorn? Not that chemical laboratory Science Fair stuff that _smells_ wonderful but tastes like greasy packing peanuts. The downstairs concession stands all have popcorn flavoring stations if you want to add caramel or kettle corn or nacho cheese, etc., seasoning. The two Grand Auditoriums anchor the center of the theater with two huge screens and plenty of variety in seating positions for chair or rollator users. Both feature "cry rooms" for parents wanting to enjoy a movie with baby on board. The digital IMAX is among the largest in the world. From sound to screen to the 3D, it really is an amazing theater experience. The volume levels can be quite high, so those sensitive to loudness (high SPL) may be uncomfortable, particularly in the center lower third and the very middle strip of seats across. Disability seating is provided on the lowest levels of seats - which are quite close to the screen - and the top back row. Access to the top is provided by an elevator in the IMAX lobby directly opposite of the concession counter. The restrooms are in the lobby of the IMAX and the little elevator foyer upstairs; on the right side of the main lobby; a "family" restroom is immediately opposite Theater 7, with changing table, grab bars and chair-shelf lavatory; full bathrooms 35 feet down the left (1-6) corridor; and upstairs by the elevator in the balcony area. The staff is friendly throughout. A lot of kids are in their first jobs, and they appear well orchestrated by their team leaders and management. The service staff upstairs is older, of course, and even more concerned with attending to guest comfort. The upstairs luxury comes with a price, however; the Director's Seats cost $22/seat, and the Balcony seats are $12/matinee and $18/evening. IMAX is $10/matinee and $13/evening. 3D movies are not shown in the DS, and typically not in the Balconies, either. General Admission prices average $7/matinee and $10/evening. 3D shows carry a $3/ticket up-charge. read more

Quality of this theater has gone 5 stars to 3 stars in the two years since Regal took it off Bill Warrens hands. How' they do it? Bathrooms are not cleaned as often and staffing is in continuous turmoil with new untrained different people there every time I go. And the food! Regal scrapped the delicious Warren cafe menu and cut it to include only the basic carnival style food. Gone is the healthy, well prepared menu of best in class sandwiches, soups, salads and real ice cream shakes to bottom level burgers and dogs with synthetic syrup flavored fake shakes. Yuk. Nobody goes there to eat anymore. The movies are still good and the seating is not worn out yet, but its on its way down! read more

This is one of the best movie theaters. They have plenty of bathrooms that are kept clean, the food is really good (chicken fingers, fries & shakes are my favorite things!) and the theater is clean and comfortable. They do an excellent job of recreating the movie palace experience of the past in everything from the fabulous decor to the announcer before your movie starts. It can be a little pricey, but not much more than theaters of lesser quality. If you are in the mood to make your movie-going experience more of an event I suggest sitting up in the balcony. They will bring food and drinks to you before and during the movie and you have reserved seats with heaters in them, just in case you are chilly. They also have a Director's Suite, where you can reserve seats in a smaller theater or even rent the whole room and lounge area. It is only $4 more than the balcony seats, so definitely something worth splurging on to check out. They also have an IMAX theater now, too. You can buy tickets for all of the different seating options online. If you get your tickets at the theater and there is a huge line, use the kiosks. Takes WAY less time. Credit card only for those, though. Up at the bar, Oscars, the alcoholic beverages are pretty good, although pricey and mostly made up of mixers. There are places to sit and eat down by the front doors in the diner and up at the bar, but you can take your food in the theater with you, even in regular seating. The staff is usually pretty friendly. I love their mints, so make sure you grab some on the way out. Or on your way in. Just grab them. Definitely the theater to go to if the experience of going to the movies is as important to you as the movies. read more

Fantastic place to watch a movie. As other yelpers note, this place is not a typical theatre: there's a diner, there's a bar upstairs, and the seats in every theatre are very comfortable. Warren was an early adopter in what a lot of movie theatres are doing now by making the movie experience more comfortable and special for the viewer. You can watch a movie at a lot of places, but at the Warren, you are treated well and you have a lot options. The suites come with servers and you can enjoy cocktails while you watch the movie. The seats in every theatre, not just IMAX or the suites, are comfortable. Also, the sound is crisper than other, more cookie cutter, theatre. I don't know that it gets much better than the Warren Theatre, well worth the very short drive from Norman. read more

The only movie theater I prefer over the Warren is AMC Penn Square, due to them having full reclining leather chairs for every seat in the house and location. Hands down, this is the best movie theater in Oklahoma. It's also the most expensive. The lobby is gorgeous, the theaters are fancy, and there is actually some space in between the rows! We only come here for very special occasions because of the price and the drive there. I plan to come here next year on my 21st birthday to see a show and have dinner in the balcony. Visited Warren for the first time this past weekend to watch the new TMNT movie. While the movie was quite entertaining, this review is around the theater itself. I fully expected to give this place a 3-4 star rating as this concept for a movie is pretty cool. I've been to places (other name brands) with a similar concept and always have a good time. But, Warren Theatre in Moore was phenomenal. The staff is super friendly so that is a bonus. The bar area, upstairs, is 21 and up only. Some people might be turned off by that but I LOVED IT!! You can order food upstairs or order from the diner and take into the regular theater part. Let me tell you now, the food is amazing. The hot dog is top quality and tasted like it was carved from a steak or something. The burger was one hell of a burger. Let's be honest, this is a movie theater. So my expectation for the food was was on par with a convenience store. So when the food tasted 100x better, it was pretty shocking. In a good way. Can't wait till I'm back in Moore to check out another movie and experience this specific experience. read more

When I fly to Oklahoma to visit family and friends, I make it a tradition to visit the Warren Theatre (should be Theater. Theatre actually refers to the performance art, and Theater is the building, but hey, it's not really that important). This theater falls just short of 5 stars because the food is only mediocre. However, the establishment itself is outstanding. The theater is clean and well maintained, and the auditorium seats are extremely comfortable. Overall, each visit to the Warren Theatre is well worth the price of admission, which, by the way, is a bargain compared to the L.A. prices I'm used to paying. read more
