The nail tech saw this and instantly asked where I go (in which I don't tell) and then proceeded to talk about how bad they were done and how they did my nails (also in which she was wrong but I ignored her). Since I didn't tell her where I usually go she kept asking and I just told her the city. And she continued to say how bad they did. She was able to remove my dip and add gel nail polish like I requested and it has lasted over a week so far! I am so rough on my nails so I didn't think it would last but two days like it normally does. The owners are Darro and his wife Lilli, and they are the sweetest people. They have been in the nail business for many, many years, and they are experts at what they do. Lilli gives the best pedicures and she's very gentle with your feet; I've gotten too many bad pedicures at other places where they are very rough on your feet, and that's why I'll only to go Lilli now. The decor inside isn't like an upscale spa or anything, but they keep things very clean and there are always plenty of good magazines, so you can catch up on celebrity gossip while getting your toes done! The male nail technician did not introduce himself and communicated very minimally throughout the appointment. Most direction was given by pointing, pulling her hands, or repeatedly saying "open," rather than speaking professionally or explaining what he was doing. The only other question asked during the service was whether she wanted a pedicure. After she declined, there was no further communication aside from saying "thanks" when she handed him a tip. During the service, her fingers were cut, and her nails are not straight (as shown in video). At the end of the appointment, he asked for the ticket and then pointed to his nail light indicating "cash tips only," rather than communicating this verbally. While the finished color was cute, the customer service and overall experience were not what she expected. Based on this visit, I would rate the experience a 2 out of 10.
