The quality varies…read moredrastically depending on a technician, majority of whom are very unprofessional and practice questionable hygiene. Customer's complaint don't mean a thing, no apologies, no refunds when the customer's nail is hurt/damaged during the procedure. The products are low quality and don't last long. Manicure and pedicure "clean up nail" is horrible and only few minutes is spend on it. Never again.

She sighed at me and looked around in annoyance and rudeness when I asked if I could take a peek to see if the nails are the same length before she started painted them. She had the guts to tell me that they were the same length without even comparing them. I put them side by side and said look, the ones from the right hand are much longer. She then proceeded to start filing to fix them a little better. Then, I asked if she could let me know when she would fix the corners because they were too square (so sharp they could cut). If I remember correctly, she sighed and said "let me finish my job"...and it just went downhill from there. It was clear that she was exhausted from her day of work, before she even start with me, and just wanted to get it over with. She didn't even clean my nails with the cuticle pusher or the clipper and proceeded to put the fake nail and was hurrying to slap the colour on top. On my ring finger's nail, she tried to cut the frozen cuticle AFTER she applied the polish and although it scratched the side, she just put the top coat on and asked me to cure it in the machine. I couldn't believe she didn't even attempt to fix her mistake. When I noticed how uninterested she was (as I would ask how her day went and she wouldn't reply, and I would thank her on multiple occasions and make remarks on how pretty they look when in fact they looked awful, she would still not reply). On top of it all, what bothered me the most is how crooked the nails were in the end, and yet, she couldn't have cared less. When I asked her to fix it politely (i asked if she could and if she couldn't, it was totally okay), she filed here and there and stopped. At that point I was too sad and decided to take the nail file and do it myself. I paid $75 + I gave her a $4 tip just because I felt like it's the right thing to do, but inside I feel very saddened by this experience. I've never been this mistreated in a nail salon and I've been to MANY. I've seen nail technicians who have done a bad job but NEVER did I have to take the nail file and do it myself and she just got up, took her stuff and left. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed because I was looking forward to paint them for a long time. I hope she realizes how rude she was and how unfortunate it is for her because the team seemed fun and nice. It was her who simply didn't care.

They do a good job cleaning your nails and the nail beds…read more Very clean, and it didn't hurt as much as when some other ladies did it more roughly at other salons. She asked if it hurt a few times too. Even when they were working on my feet, they asked me if I normally have nails that grow into my skin (which happens to me sometimes) and they were able to cut off the extra nails. They had me sit in a chair and it has massage options on the chair, and I was putting my feet in warm water and just chilling. She also did a great job scrapping off the dry skin on my feet and moisturizing it too. I love running and over a year ago I stubbed my toe and it had internal bleeding you can see at the toe. It also started growing funny and it grew out much thicker than before with dried blood you can see. She had a machine that actually was able to scrap off the extra blood, so my toe looks normal again! I was very happy about that cause I've been having to hide that for the past couple of years. I tried the gel nails and she said it lasts a long time and you can't do it yourself. There is a special drying machine that helps dry the nails, and its basically impossible to dry it without that machine. I tried a grape vine color (I also uploading the images of my nails and the polish). She really had like 4 coats and then an outer coat. At least 2 coasts for my toes too. So she was very thorough with her work. Also, they are trilingual! They speak Vietnamese, Cantonese, and English! Definitely would go again. Prices are good and it's not super fancy, but it gets the same job done at a cheaper price!! Always down for that!

Highly recommend this salon. I have been in the health profession for many years and am very particular about sterilization techniques..I am confident to go here. I have to add an update. I broke a nail and contacted Allure. They got back to me very quickly and fit me in. Ashley did a fabulous job repairing my nail! She was very gentle and careful and precise in her work. She is a very personable technician and it was joy to have her help me.. I would gladly have these wonderful people work on my hands again.

I found Allure Nail Bar online after I was searching for a nail salon that did similar techniques…read moreto a "russian manicure" (where they use a drill bit to carefully file your cuticles). They did an amazing job, but after pushing back my cuticles and filing them, my cuticles were still there so I asked them to cut them off. This extra step counted as a manicure so it was an extra $12 charge? Which, okay fine.. but it just added to the cost of everything. For a gel refill (+2 nail fixes since they popped off from my first appt), plus design, plus covid PPE costs, & tip, it came up to almost $150! I don't understand how people can keep getting their nails done with these prices. I was okay paying for it since I needed PERFECT nails for my wedding - and I am BEYOND happy with the outcome, but the price is keeping me from going back unless for a special occasion. (The first time I went for a full set of gel nails & 1 colour with sparkle on top came up to $90 with tip).. so almost double the price if I went to a basic nail salon. You do get what you pay for, but again, not sure how people can keep up with these prices. I would still definitely recommend going to Allure Nail Bar. All the staff are friendly, clean up after each client, and know how to execute your nail look 100%.
