This was my first visit here. It was pretty bad... I'm giving it two stars because Julie and the staff is friendly. But, the paint job done in my toes was awful. My boyfriend's manicure was terrible. Cuticles we're sticking out everywhere! On the sign, it offers Gel and Acrylic nails- when I got there they said they didn't offer gel nail services.... also, I had asked Julie how much it would cost to remove my precious shellac manicure. She said $5. When I got up to pay, they charged me $10. Unbelievable. Unfortunately, won't be going back. read more

I was basically asked to leave yesterday. I had my baby with me like I do every time, and like always she was asleep. They said they had a wait and I said that was ok and id stay. The man then told me to take my baby home n leave her there. The rest of the conversation went like this: Me: by herself? Man: she'll cry. Me: *thinking*she never even been awake as I got my nails done.* so i said, ok how long is the wait? Man: an hour. Me: ok ill come back Man:Today!!!! Me: yeah, will u be open? Man: idk So I started walking out of the store when the little boy who helps out there tapped my arm and pulled out a seat. I was surprised! The man turned and saw me in the seat and told the boy "no! Not her!" I was embarrassed and just left. Not only was I embarrassed, but I was angry that he called out my daughter like that even though shes never caused an issue. This was my first time here with my cousin. We both needed fills. We sat down and only had to wait a few minutes and the guy started our nails at the same time. I picked a color from the sample nails and he told me those are old, we don't have those colors anymore so I picked a different color from the shelf. The same day I got them done my nails have cracks in the polish. My cousins too. I got "gel" color and she got a V manicure. There was only one nail tech working and one lady that could paint nails. Awful. My girlfriend just got a manicure to get ready for a cruise and it looks like a 3 year old did it blindfolded. I'm not a nail specialist but I know how to color in the lines. Shut it down or give girls their money's worth. read more

My sister and I decided to try this place and get gel manicures. UM NO. What a true waste of $30. I had to tell the woman doing my nails to clean the extra polish NOT on my nail because she was painting so fast. VERY unprofessional, not sure how they are in business. NEVER again, please don't waste your time or money... I work hard for my money just like everyone else and the fact that I just threw away $30 really is disappointing. When you go into an establishment that is supposed to know what they're doing & you come out looking like a 2 year old did your nails??? This place should not be in business!! read more

I brought my best friend here so we can get pedicures for her birthday. The guy spent majority of the time poking "fun" at me while also being completely distasteful talking about how people don't tip him very well. I think he was just trying to make my friend laugh, but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be going back. read more

I have been to this salon maybe 2-3 times over the past 18 months for pedicures; however, my visit on 11/6/2016 sealed the deal on never returning for any service. The salon is seriously understaffed and this may be poor planning, maintenance, and management or it may be directly a result of their poor service (anticipating that their incoming and existing staff is being cared for the same way as their customers-slip-shoddy at best) and their use of inferior products and technology (the polish was peeling and chipping before I returned home the same day as the service and within a day-and-a-half the acrylic was chipping off underneath). Note: there was a Help Wanted sign visible in the establishment so it seems that they desire to remedy the staffing issue. The following is the detailed synopsis of my experience: Upon arriving to the salon there were two customers who had just finished being polished and were now drying. One customer was approximately 10 minutes into the process of receiving a full set and another was transitioning from a pedicure to receiving a manicure. Two adult staff technicians were attending to these (two) customers when I, and another customer, arrived. Anticipating about a 30-minute wait I asked if I could wash my hands before the service would begin. A polite minor (late middle/early high school-aged male) directed me to the sink and presented me with a hand towel after I finished washing my hands. I was perplexed as to why there weren't paper towels (nor a dispenser) at the sink (I don't have a problem drying my hands with a towel, it just seemed odd in a salon to not see any paper towels for customer's use). The minor directed me to a work station and prepared the pedicure bath for the other customer. After about 10 minutes, the minor began to remove my nail polish with the electric sander and prepare my nails to be acrylic-filled in the interim until one of the technicians became available. It was at this point when I observed a sign indicating that the credit/debit card processing machine was not working. After each step in the fill process there was a 10-15-minute delay in the process either waiting for one technician or another to become available between other interactions with customers. Shortly after the fill process began, I asked the woman if she would shape the nails to round the edges a bit as they were very sharp; she seemed upset that I would make this request. Then she and the minor finished shaping and buffing my nails. I also inquired about what looked like lifting of my acrylic on the inner and outer sides of my nails where no acrylic had been placed by her to bond with the natural nail. She mumbled something intelligible and continued to file my nails. After my fill, file, buff, shape, polish, top coat and dry which was completed by three different workers (two adult technicians and one minor), I was informed that the cost would be $50. On the sign posted in the establishment wall, a "gel fill" is listed as "$25+". When I questioned the senior (higher ranking or possibly management-level) worker to breakdown the charges of why this service was so expensive compared to the listed prices, she was unable to do so and after my expressions of concern that the cost of a full-set of gels would have been cheaper, she 'gifted me' my nails at $30 and all this at just under 2 hours. At every nail salon to which I have ever been, there is a flat rate for all of the typical processes necessary to complete a 'fill' service (which generally includes: polish removal, trimming, preparing and priming, acrylic filling, shaping, buffing, base coat, polishing, top coat and drying). It is expected that the aforementioned would be considered 'standard' as part of this type of service and within the industry. I have never been charged for what I can only describe as a la carte services (even though she was unable/unwilling to provide any sort of breakdown as to why my standard fill differentiated from the norm or required extra attention and therefore additional charges). I would expect that if a service required special care or additional materials or products that an 'upcharge' would be necessary and completely appropriate; however, what I received was a standard fill (service) and no additional support nor materials were necessary. Within 5 hours of having my fill service completed, the polish was peeling and chipping and within 36 hours, the inner sides where I had inquired about had begun cracking. I was so dissatisfied with the work done at this salon that I had my nails repaired and re-polished at another salon. This salon has a no refunds policy, but I may consider submitting a bill to their corporate office for the repairs that needed to be made due to the subpar services provided at this salon. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I wasn't pleased with how I was treated talking to the manager/owner on the phone. The nail technician didn't do what I asked I even had picture what I wanted and they came out looking cheap and they broke when I got home. I went to a Better salon to get then redone after being charged $60! Plus tip!! She rushed my mother in law to pick a color. Spending over $100. The manager didn't care about what I said wouldn't do any refunds bc I went to a better salon. Told him I wouldn't refer anyone they and he said he didn't care about it. Talk about really bad customer service. He was rushing me off the phone because what I said wasn't important. read more

I went to Real Nails in Milford ,PA, referral from a friend....It seemed to be ok, but i noticing the owner when she was done with a pedi, did not clean her tub. I noticed she just wiped it down with no cleaner... The pedicurist I had said she was 16 years old and still in highschool. She was not a professional nail tech. Let me start by saying that I used to come here all the time when the shop was ran by a man and a woman. I Always​ got good service and good product. Now this is the second time in six months I've been here, and these people are all rude. I usually go to the Walmart in Pittston, where they do awesome work, and their prices are very inexpensive, but sometimes due to my work schedule I can make it to Pittston, and when I need a fill, I usually can't wait because well I let them go too long. Anyway. I'll just start by saying when I walked into the salon today. I showed the woman that I had a dipped nail, and asked her if she can fill this. She said I can fill anything. So I sat down and she started filling my nails, got them.all filed, and then said, I can't do that. So im thinking to my self, she has filed down my nails, and now can't do.anything. so I ended up settling on acrylics that I was trying to get away from, because I couldn't leave the place half done. Then when I got ready to leave, she told me it would be 50 dollars. I said for what. She would not offer an explanation, only pointed at the sign when it said gel fill 30, and gel manicure 20. The only thing I can figure is she charged me separate. I am.used to paying 30 for a fill and the gel polish. Now as i write this review I notice some of the Polish is already chipping which really pisses me off cause when I go to the one in Pittston. I go a month and there is no lift of the nail, and no chip of the Polish no matter what I do to them. Iwill not be back. I am not sure where I will go now, cause Pittston is too far away with my current work schedule. If I could figure out who the owner is, I would certainly call. read more
