I'm new to the area and trying to find a good nail salon, I went in to this place to do a full set of acrylic ombré French nails which is usually a standard to any nail salon you can go to. Red flag immediately went off when I sat down and saw how dirty her workstation is, should've taken that as my sign to turn around there. The woman told me that she knew how to do the service but wouldn't be able to do it on me because my nails are "thin" I've never had this issue before or had anyone say this to me. She said she could do a "gel set" and I agreed because I just wanted my nails to be done and got she huffy when I asked her for clarification why that would be better than acrylic and to be honest I still don't get it (again I've never had this issue). She charged me 78$ for glorified press-ons and to be fair I should've asked her how much it would be before she continued but again I just needed my nails done. She was huffy throughout the service and kept smacking my hands around, I've had my nails done plenty of times over the last 8 years and I know how to sit through a service and saw no need to be so aggressive about it. There was a spec of black nail polish in her top coat (THAT GOT ON MY WHITE NAILS) I asked her if she needed to fix it before my nails went under the lamp and she said no. Then she proceeded to try and cover the now hardened black spec with a different color of white and failed and ended up just telling me to ignore it.... after filing my nails one last time and not wiping them after she was done, I was rushed to pay and she all but ripped my card out of my hand. So I left with dusty, press on nails, down 78$ and no wish to return to this place. read more

I went to this nail salon because Nail Love was very busy, and I didn't want to wait anymore. A lady sitting near me in the waiting area of Nail Love told me that this nail salon was another good option to go to. I decided to listen to her and give this place a try because I've never been there. As soon as I arrived I quickly noticed how there was only one man working there, there was no one else in the entire place. He was kind so I let my little sister get her nails painted first since I figured that'd take only 5-10 minutes. She wanted a simple design which was a bow, and this man had no idea how to make the bow. He kept messing up and retrying maybe 7 times before he finally gave up and left her with his sloppy work. He took about 20-25 minutes just to paint a child's nails. It was one color with ONE bow. He also did a poor job painting them, there were streaks and it was very bulky. We paid and immediately left, because I was not going to get my nails done there. I should've known not to go there considering not one person was in there besides the one man who worked there. I don't recommend this place AT ALL. Save your time and especially your money. read more

I have coming here since they first opened. Everyone has always been very nice. The owner Ken is a great guy. Everyone does a great job. I have and still do get tons of compliments on my nails. The prices are great here. Ken and his staff will engage in conversation. I found it to be very relaxing everytime I go. There has been alot of changes in the past year. So if you have experienced some unpleasantness in the past. I would suggest you come back and see for yourself. I stopped going to the nail salon in the other side of the strip mall. Despite all the critical reviews, I took my sister here to get our nails done because it's been months since we've been able to step foot in a salon due to quarantine, and I am impressed. My sister is a little more on the picky side and the picture she had showed him was very close to the outcome of her nails. Not to sure who was helping us since we are new to the area but she is happy with her nails which is rare in a new salon. We both bite our nails so they are already harder to work with but they took their time with us and we super happy with them. Although the outside look of the salon may be alerting, everyone inside was super nice, friendly and professional. Very rude manager. My nail technician was good but there was absolutely zero comfort level. The manager or whoever she was , was quick and with zero finesse. I despise when they speak perfect English yet revert to speaking their own language. It's uncomfortable. Very awkward feeling. Come in. Get your nails done pay get out. My handicapped friend and I treated ourselves to a pedicure which we both badly needed. We were walk-ins an were promptly accommodated with special attention for my handicapped friend. We were not interested in polish but have to give five stars for foot care, foot and leg massage, trimming nails correctly and things that my foot doctor doesn't do! I went yesterday for a pedicure. I asked for a spa pedicure and only got a regular. I tried to ask the technician to do a design on my nails but she understood no English and shook her head no. I'm not from the area, but really wanted my nails done for an upcoming wedding I'm attending. A simple French manicure for my toes and fingers (and an acrylic fill), called an hour ahead of time and still had to wait a couple minutes which is fine, and the pedicure was great till it came time to paint, as she messed up the paint twice and had to have someone else tell her how to do it. Once that was over i moved to the nail seats and she was done taking the paint off of one hand and all of a sudden had to take a different appointment WHILE i was already being worked on. And was told "go dry your toes.. ten minutes!" as they'd already been dry... and 20 mins later she finally comes back and tells me it's my turn. Again. I would have left if i wouldn't have looked like a monster, and every other place around was booked up for the day.. end result wasn't the worst I'd ever had.. read more

The manager there is very rude and unprofessiona! there is a gentleman there named jimmy who does a good job but of course he was not there the day I went in! I showed her a simple picture (only 2 different colors and a gem nothing hard to do) and she said she could do it (rudely) She sat talking on her phone the entire time my nails were done. Then told me s couldn't do the second color, fine! I asked for the small gem and she told me everything was packed up and she didn't have time to look for it!! I was stunned! not to mention the last two times I went there my nails chip on the sides which has NEVER happened even when I worked with cleaning supplies and sanatizer daily!! I went in for a manicure and pedicure. I was a walk-in and they took me immediately which was great but I would call the service a polish only, and not a good one. As I was getting the pedicure, another person came over and said she would do my manicure. Probably the worst and shortest manicure I have ever had. The nails were left rough (I asked her to smooth them but 1 brush with a smooth file didn't make them smooth), one coat of uneven polish ( I asked her if she was putting another coat and she said a top coat), and very rough hang nails were left. The total manicure lasted less than 15 minutes. The pedicure was basically a polish change. Again, very short with a total of 22 minutes. read more

After making an appointment I went in with my teenager for half waxing on arms and legs, I always like to ask verbally for the prices due to many salons having inconsistent prices. This older lady told my Daughter to pull up her pants so she can see her legs than she said $30 than the other workers started talking their language and her prices was from $30 to $25. I walked over to the price list it said $20 she said no it says up. I said where. At this time I asked to speak to the owner another person that I felt was the owner denied and said she was not in. I asked for the owners name and she refused to answer. I said to them you can not discriminate on a child and ask to see her legs and arms than make a decision on raising up the prices. They spoke well English and understood they were wrong. They thought I would stay to give them my business, which they were absolutely wrong. I went and found another nail salon down the shopping center Nail Love which it was also my first visit no appointment and my teenager didn't feel discriminated and was probably taken care of. Worst nail salon I have ever been to! The whole time the guy was putting on my full set (1.5hrs for simple pink and white) I was questioning where he learned to do nails... I'm guessing YouTube. It was so bad I started looking for his license. I could't find a single license in the whole salon. When i tried to jerk my hand away when he cut me he would not let me pull my hand back. The lady I had was sweet and fairly quick. When I got to the salon they had about 4 people in front of me but I only waited 15 minutes. Everything seemed clean. When this salon first opened 5 or 6 years ago. It was great. Clean, and the nail techs were so nice. Well, I just returned from Florida for the summer season and made an appointment for a pedicure and a powder dip. I arrived that afternoon and there was no record of my appointment- made 3 hours earlier - which is unbelievable because I even had the name of who it was with. Per pandemic guidelines, they should only operate at a % of normal occupancy, but she took me anyway. Btw - no mask on her (until I asked about it) and no masks on several other techs. (If I had noticed it earlier, I would have left.) The tech used a drill to get the current dip off of my nails, rather than wrapping, because she"didn't have time." Then just one coat of color instead of two (I questioned her but she acted as if I didn't know what I was talking about .) My nails look awful - filed incorrectly, different lengths, and with a "bump" where the old dip wasn't completely removed. When I pointed it out, she said she had no time to fix it and that I should come back the next day. Fat chance! I will NEVER GO BACK! Add to all of this that the place is filthy, and the furniture worn through to the stuffing. Three months closed - they could have at least put a coat of pain on the walls. I have been a regular here and haven't had an issue. They know I have limited time to get my nails done with my work schedule and my daughters schedule. They seem to get me in and out in no time. Very friendly. Most of the time I have a broken nail(s) or just unable to get in to have them done so they need some big time TLC by the time I get there. I was in the area for a few days and decided to try this place. There are two nail salons in that shopping center and Rt 6 Nails is the one closer to the KMart. I had a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Though I believe the services were on the pricier end of average, it seems to be the going rate in this area. I had separate individuals doing my fingers and toes but both did a good job. My manicurist took time on each nail and even did a third coat. The hand massage was a little short but my manicure looks great (let's hope it lasts!). He was very nice to speak to as well. My pedicurist did a nice job too. I wish she had spent a little more time filing my toenails but her leg and foot massage was excellent and my toe polish looks great. Would recommend! read more
