Ended up getting tickets to see Fantastic 4 while in the area. The movie theater was good, clean, friendly staff. The only downfall is the area the movie theater is in didn't seem very safe. We must have stumbled upon the "hood" of Lancaster because it changed from the hotel to the movie theater. Luckily we just were in and out and there were no issues with safety. read more

Went to see black phone 2 tonight. two guys were either reallyyyyyy high or reallyyyyyy drunk and pretty sure they snuck in drinks? anyway, they spilt popcorn and couldn't stop being loud. i get people trying to have fun but it was annoying during a horror movie. one manager came in and told us they got reports row E was being loud and it was the people on the end (me and my friend who frequent the theater and know proper theater etiquette). we were confused and lowkey pissed as members of regal cinemas and regular guests why we were yelled at when it wasn't us? i reported it to the lovely manager Dakota, hope you're reading this you absolute king, and he said the report was for the guys in the row, towards the center, throwing popcorn everywhere and laughing really loud and just overall being loud. he apologized for the confusion and gave me and my friend 2 free drink vouchers each and 1 free ticket each. i hate to be a karen but appreciate this actual legend for compensating us for the experience. hopefully the drunk guys go to cinemark next time they wanna get crunk at a horror movie. we don't need none of that at regal!!!! thank u again dakota u slay! read more

This is the worst movie theater in the area. Avoid at all costs...or make sure you show up an hour early if you want concessions. We reserved our seats online and showed up to the theater 15 minutes early. When we arrived the line for the concession stand was kinda long but not unusually long. Certainly not so long that we thought we wouldn't make it into the theater in time. We stood in line for over 45 minutes to get popcorn and soda. The guy working the register was either high, tired, or just slow. To add to his lethargicness he also would help multiple customers who wanted refills in between helping customers in line . The problem is the refill area was at the opposite end of the concession stand. So, he'd have to make his way through all the other employees (talking to them on the way there and back). Once we finally had our concessions we made our way into the movie that had already started. When we found our seats we realized one of them was broken and would not recline. Rather than cause a scene and go talk to a manger we emailed Regal. Their response was "we're sorry". For as much as a movie ticket costs these days, not to mention the cost of popcorn and soda they should have offered some type of reimbursement. Not necessarily refund all of the tickets, but they should have taken some sort of responsibility. We'll be going to AMC from now on. read more

I've been going to Regal Manor since 2015. Back then it was one of the nicest theaters I have ever been too. But now that most theaters have reclinable seats and nice screens, regal isn't as nice as it was. It's definitely declined in its cleanliness and sharpness. It's never DIRTY but it never feels especially clean either. And that probably comes down to staffing. The lobby is ok but maybe a little small for crowded opening weekends. I went there to see the recent spider man movie opening weekend and it was packed. Definitely a shame that they don't use that front window/booth area for ticket sales anymore. The exterior posters can sometimes look a bit worn and washed out. But overall it's not an unpleasant experience. The seats are comfortable and the screens are up to standard so that's the most important thing. read more

My family has been coming to this theater since we moved to Lancaster more than 10 years ago, and it's evolved quite a bit in that time. I love the new seats and assigned seating, and I'm happy to pay extra for the comfort. My daughter and I often do dinner and a movie for our girls' nights, and we love getting the seats with the armrests that raise up, so we can snuggle on the seats like we're on our couch at home. The more popular movies are shown in the larger theaters for obvious reasons, but often you can find even the blockbusters have a viewing or two in a smaller theater (typically earlier in the day). I prefer to view with a smaller audience -- less chance of dealing with people on their cell phones or talking the entire time, at least. They do 3D showings here, too, so be sure to pay attention when you're booking to be sure you get the theater experience you want. Show times are consistently spaced for the new movies -- typically every hour or half-hour -- so I've never had an issue finding a time that's convenient for me or my family. I definitely recommend purchasing your tickets and selecting your seats ahead of time, but we have had dinner at Ruby Tuesday's or Ginmaya there in the Manor Shopping Center and then wandered over to the theater for a show on a whim, and I can't remember a time when we weren't able to get in to see a movie we were interested in and find a decent seat. And have you looked at theater seats after a movie? With popcorn and candy all over the floor and seats, and spilled drinks the in cup holders? I appreciate all the workers here who swiftly clean the mess, wipe down the spills, and are able to restore the seating area so that we don't have to clean up after someone else before taking our seats. They're typically younger workers and it's usually a small crew going from theater to theater, but they do a great job between each showing and don't get enough credit for what they do. There's a very small arcade at the entrance -- great place to send your kid if there's a line at the ticket counter or if you arrive early for your show. Lots of clean bathrooms with lots of stalls spread around the place, so no matter where you are, there's one nearby, and I've never had to wait for a stall in the ladies room, which is a first. They've upgraded the concessions area, which now offers "real" food options like pizza, chicken fingers, etc., but they're not that great and cost much more than you'll pay getting a sit-down meal at one of the real restaurants in the shopping center. I recommend you eat before you come. If you're into movie popcorn, it'll cost you enough, but a meal would make this a very expensive outing. read more

Went to see a new movie today. They offered a lot of options on times and types of movies. The theater that I chose was standard seating. So I guess that means no reclining seats. I scanned my prepaid ticket but there was no one there to get to the various theaters. There were plenty of workers for the concession stand. The movie was to start at 10 am. But that didn't include 22 minutes of ads and 4 previews. But one movie preview was being released in 5 months. Wow. The theater was so dark before the ads that it was hard to find your seat. It was also so cold. Why do movie theaters always make the theaters so cold? But, the place was clean from what I could tell in the dark. read more

First off it is in a sketchy strip mall with not else around it. The staff is friendly and they do have security roaming around. The theater overall is generally pretty busy. Walked up to the counter to spend $36 on two popcorns and two sodas. One of the teenage employees proceeds to hawk a loogie across the room right in front of the popcorn. Gross. I didn't think much of it other than that this poor child grew up without parents. I order our popcorn and another zoomer employee offers some delicious movie theater butter. I agree. She proceeds to dump a gallon of butter, we're talking a full 90 second pour... for each layer... all while delivering a suspicious side eye checking to see if I'm watching her while being rung up. I was watching, because it was weird. Dilbert on the register can't get it to work and complains how they should let him take apart and upgrade "these damn 90's machines". He obviously has a bright future in IT. After this bizarre experience, I'm sitting there watching Mario with my family and it dawns on me. There is a 99% chance these terrorist children have mixed their loogies into the butter. The next morning I woke up with a sore throat. I came in on a Saturday evening, a busy time for all theaters I would think. The snack line was incredibly long. They had two guys working one counter and it did not make sense to me. The first guy would ring up the order and then stand there while the other guy ran around getting the order. It seems logical that they would each have their own line to make things go faster. Guess not though. The movie theater was so old. I'm glad the lights were dim because I really didn't want to see where I was setting my precious derriere. read more

It has recliners and stadium seating but the recliners aren't electric so you end up having to kick the seats back like you're a kid getting out of his dads chair. I haven't been to the movies for ages so I was surprised that this local theater also does assigned seats and that the cost of a movie ticket was $13.50! Good thing I secured discount tickets with no expiration thru my workplace benefits: Working Advantage - check if your employer has you covered, I paid just $8.25/per ticket, that's a huge savings over the current prices. I know employees of the LGH network also have discount tickets available to them thru their employer. What is nice is that they present available seats to you on an iPad and you pick yourself. However look closely - I mistook what I assumed was the screen for the back and ended up unhappy with my seating, but it was totally my fault. I also struggled to see the row labeling in the dark even though I arrived well before the previews. They could do more to make that stick out. You also have to count down to your seat as I didn't see any seat labeling. Other than that typical movie experience. No better or worse than others. Snack bar is overpriced so sneak in your own. Parking can be hard to score because of their location in a shopping center but not impossible. They should have had more than one ticket taker on the Friday night that I went as a line developed. Come early because now that everyone gets to pick their seats you can expect delays. While they do charge admission for kids (it's reduced) if you have a toddler tell them they're going to sit on your lap - saved me a ticket! read more

I had been going to this theatre for almost a year and was super happy till I had a horrible experience with management. The screen wasn't working when we went in and only audio was playing. We initially thought they would start the video up once the actual movie starts and they realize there are people in the theatre. But no, the movie started with no video, only audio. Nobody bothered to inform us what was going on- we had to go find someone. The person we found told us that they were aware of the issue and management was working on it. Yet nobody could be bothered to take initiative and update us. We had to wait 15 mins in the dark before someone casually showed up from the projector room and asked if we wanted them to restart the movie. There was ZERO communication effort from their end. It was almost like they were hoping we'd quietly leave since it was just me and my friend at the screen and they wouldn't have to bother. I'm very disappointed and probably not going back to this regal. I cannot be checking with the staff each time if the screen is working before booking tickets at the kiosk. We'd checked the website prior to arriving at the theatre and booking tickets. There was no indication anywhere that there was an issue with the screen. read more

Where to start? First, we walked in to get our tickets, with only a few people ahead of us, and we were waiting there for nearly 10 minutes, and the line didn't even move, which is outrageous for ordering tickets! Turns out, only one person was managing ticket sales, which I might add is very inefficient. Then, finally a lady told us that we could come around to guest service and order tickets there. She was also excruciatingly slow because every time someone ordered tickets, she had to walk all the way to the back to get their tickets and change. Also extremely inefficient. The popcorn and slushies were alright. We then walked into our theater and found it completely empty (this wasn't a problem at all, it was quite enjoyable) and they at least had nice reclining seats. Now, this is the part that drove me to rate it one star. So, about halfway through our movie, we spotted something moving, a shadow of some sort. Turns out, the theater is infested with imice!! This shows that this theater is completely unsanitary, and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even clean up. We are never going to this theater again. I do NOT recommend going here unless you want to experience excruciatingly slow service and the cage-free disease ridden mice petting zoo theaters. Not a fan to be honest. Have seen quite a few movies there, since it was really the only place to go. Have since migrated to Penn Cinema once it opened. Penn is really not as far out of the way as it may seem. Up 501, about 15 minutes, on light traffic the trip is basically the same for me as Regal is. The Crown Club is a good program, enjoyed the free movie and food bonuses, but the theater is becoming dated and gets crowded. Was present for two midnight showings (Cloverfield and Dark Knight) at Regal where the projector's bulb burned out. Those kind of incidents may be more indicative of management than the brand itself but I still prefer the amenities at Penn (namely the true stadium seating, very cushy chairs and a truer, more robust digital audio setup). I feel Penn is worth the trip even if it is a few minutes out of the way. read more

While there is the new Penn Cinema out by the airport, unless you live out that direction, Regal Cinema is really the only good and convenient place to catch a movie... and that is quite alright by me. I live close to the Kendig Square movie theater, and I despise the place. Regal Cinema has been around for as long as I can remember, and I find it to be quite nice and well-maintained. I suppose there's nothing too special about it, but I'm not really sure what more you could expect from a movie theater. The prices are pretty standard. There are, perhaps, ten different screens, so you shouldn't have any problem finding the movie you like. If you're in Lancaster and looking for a place to see a movie, this is the place to go. read more

I am hearing impaired and since Regal initiated closed caption glasses in its theatre I never go anywhere else, unless it is a foreign movie with subtitles. I have written to other movie theaters asking them to consider this, and Penn Cinema has recently offered closed caption. I am loyal to Regal however! What I can't understand is why this isn't advertised? There are many more people in Lancaster County who would start attending movies if they knew! I can't thank you enough Regal! read more

If you've been to any Regal, you've been to this one. The design, layout, prices, and overall quality are exactly what you've come to know from this chain. Like with any theater, you don't really get too much interaction with the staff so I don't have anything bad to say about them. The food is overpriced but you know that. If you're going to buy soda or popcorn, pay the extra for the larges which come with "free" refills. Picture and sound quality are standard - no complaints. As others have mentioned, if you want a definitive film experience, Penn Cinema (especially the IMAX) is your place. But for a no frills and often closer-to-home theater, Penn Cinema meets the standard. **UPDATE** Last night I watched The Dark Knight Rises in Screen 7 which is their large auditorium. One of the speakers was obviously blown because any time the action got loud, the speaker over my right shoulder would fuzz and pop. I called and spoke to an employee after I got home and explained the problem in detail (screen, location, etc) and he seemed to be in a rush to get me off the phone. I'll be curious to see if they fix this quickly. read more

The movie theater itself is very nice. Clean and modern. However when we went to get a ticket we were told that the only seats left were the reclining seats in the first two rows. Not a problem. We did arrive very soon before movie time. However after entering the theater we saw that it was half empty and remained as such till the end. Would have preferred one of those seats. read more

Very nice clean movie theater with the most comfortable chairs!! I took my young daughter & friends to see The Bad Guys & the service was great. We enjoyed the movie as well, I'm not sure what this theater used to be that renders such bad reviews but I've been living in Lancaster the past 5 years & everytime we come here it's delightful never dirty not even the bathrooms so if I were any of the past guest I'd give them another try they did great renovations & it's very accommodating I assure you there is nothing wrong with this movie theater & to the person that use "sketchy strip mall with nothing around it" sounds like someone looking to take a jab because the area didn't fit their profile (just say that) but it's surrounded by shopping stores thus the reason it's in a strip mall right... Pleasant staff that's cool & down to earth (not stuck up or annoyed to do their jobs), it's an awesome place to take your family & I love taking mine! read more

Normally this is a decent theater. However the Wonder Woman showing in #14 today was a wreck. First the screen wasn't turned on for the pre-show. Then they didn't have the 3D set correctly for the movie and had a huge dirty lens issue right down the center of the screen. Multiple people went out to complain on these failures and I personally informed the manager of the 3D issue. It was distracting and ruined the experience and they did nothing. Glad I dropped $50 and took the kids to that *sarcasm*. The seats are great but it's not worth this level of inepitutude. read more

While the seats themselves are comfortable, the layout of the theatre is atrocious. We were seated in the front row--which is decent in most venues--and the seats were so close to the screen that I could almost kick it. This required craning of neck, and resulted in a distorted screen. And these horrible seats were the same exact price as all the ones with a decent view--you don't even get a discount to suffer up front! The view was so bad that we left the theatre. The only thing saving this from being a one star review is the customer service. We were immediately granted a refund when we voiced our complaints. read more

My wife and I were in Lancaster on a business trip and decided to watch a movie. We were recommend by the hotel receptionist to visit regal manor when I asked her if Lancaster had any theaters with reclining seats since we are used to going to the AMC theaters with red reclining seats. The outside of the theatre looked pretty out of date but the inside of the theater is under renovation which is a good sign. The tickets were a bit cheaper than where I come from which is also a good thing. While we were walking in, I noticed a few workers were just standing together chit-chatting even while serving customers, which is fine since it happens everywhere. What's not fine is that when the trailers came on, the very well lit theater lights did not dim at all and when the movie started, the lights were still on. The first customer went out to get someone to turn the lights off but nothing happened. The lights didn't go off until the second customer went out which was a few minutes later. And when the movie ended, lights never came back on. I'm not sure how the lighting works, but I highly doubt it's the equipment since the place was newly renovated. Now I'm not saying the staff were busy chatting rather than doing their job, but the person in charge of the lights did a horrible job / did nothing at all. read more

There was 23 minutes of commercials & coming attractions we had to sit through before it started! Because we didn't have our credit card with us, we were given three passes that cannot be used to reserve seats online. We are out of town grandparents and an 8 year old who reserved Dec. 26th back row tickets to Spider-Man. We were offered scattered site seats including one in the front row and after the movie had started. There may have been a computer glitch, but they also clearly had given our seats to others as their final offer was to put us together in the back row but only after even more of the movie was over! They did not offer a way to request a refund online. read more

Our night started out bad ...My boyfriend and I wanted to see Hotel Mumbai that they had online and advertised to play at 7:15pm ...we got there and both men stated they were not playing it and we had the wrong theater. Frustrated because we drove 20-25mins to find out they didnt have it. My boyfriend and I left and went out to our car as I was quite upset feeling so embarrassed for asking for a movie I thought they had playing. We relooked at our map and found out that we were actually at the correct theater after all. We decided to pick a different movie because it was our date night and we wanted to still see a movie so we picked Captive State that they also had online which was suppose to play at 8:15pm. We went in and asked about the tickets ..the young man said yes and to pick our seats...as we got our tickets I looked at them and they said Captain Marvel not Captive State..upset I said the tickets were incorrect..the young man apologized and said go to the customer service desk and that they would change it for us. The manager was helping with the huge line so we only waited a few minutes luckily and we explained our tickets were incorrect from the movie we wanted. He asked want they were suppose to be and stated that it wasn't playing. At this point Im irritated because that was the second movie I couldn't see but they had advertised online. Trying not to be to irritated I explained that a lot on there website was incorrect and that it was stating online they had movies playing that were not actually playing. The manager was very nice and helpful and offered free movie tickets for another time or to skip the huge line and get free drink/food. We decided to keep the tickets we got incorrectly and decided to get the free drinks/food for out date night. Didn't catch the managers name but thank you for making it right and for making our night still nice. Customer service was 100%. Our movie was great after all and we really appreciate trying to fix the mistakes to your best ability. read more

Being from out of town i have grown acustomed to the recliner seat theaters and their viewing experience. So naturally when i saw this was a regal with recliners i gladly Drove an extra 20 min. Mistake, yes the recliners were nice but basic still an upgrade over a normal theater seat but the issue was the sound. It was aweful, easily the worst sound / audio experience I have had in a theater. The speakers were crackling in the sides and the rear was non existant. For the premium price and extra drive this was very dissapointing. read more
