pulled turkey sandwich Hot Chicken Sandwich Spring Wrap

We LOVED this place! Such a cool spot to chill and get some amazing food. The Hot Chicken sandwich was killer, the Pulled Turkey sandwich was a repeat, fries were yummy and the Spring Wrap was delicious! Our server was extremely friendly and made our experience so enjoyable. They also have a small theater and brunch/dinner area with select films/showtimes. Very artsy spot, can't wait to go back!

Great food, great drinks, and a great, unique atmosphere. Made a bunch of visits here over the summer and fall and was so impressed with the staff and delicious menu offerings that I was excited when my sister chose it for the first stop on her bachelorette party bar crawl! On most visits it was just the hubs, daughter and I, but this time I was with a group of 15 with varying food and drink preferences. The staff kept up with our needs and orders as though we were a simple three top. I don't know if there was a single thing on the menu that we didn't order that night, but typically I recommend the Brussels sprouts to start and either the impossible burger (comes with Their amazing hand cut fries) or the white Detroit style pizza -- the sauce is on top, so it's a little messy to eat, but one bite and you won't care how much ends up on your face and shirt. They also do delicious desserts, so try to save room or get a slice of pie to go! They've been a little short staffed in the kitchen (what restaurant isn't, right?) so they sometimes only have a limited menu, but it's worth checking back. They're pretty good at posting the latest info on their social and keeping the menu on their website up to date, so you can check there before you go. Another reason to check the website: In addition to offering movies, they also do fun game nights, have live music on the patio (where your four legged friends are welcome to join you!), and other cool events.

Double review here. Cinema: Great experience overall, not your normal type of a revenue. Nice way to catch a movie or live performance. Intimate, cozy with couches, lazy boys and other comfortable seats. Lobby is also cozy- offering drinks and snacks to enjoy while taking in the movie/show. Seats proximity 75-100 people Restaurant: Literally accessible from the cinema lobby, again cozy, intimate ambience. Food was good and plentiful. Each appetizer/entree is something familiar with a twist. Good friendly service and not overly priced.

We had a really great experience here tonight. Our waiter David provided excellent service and lots of good advice about the menu. He was quick, polite, and helpful. The food was definitely above average pub food. The wings were top notch. The pizza was thick but had wonderful crispy edges. There are huge doors that open to outside so it's all kind of indoor/ outdoor space. A fun and welcoming place. Eat here.

I love everything about this place! It's such a unique spot that Lancaster needed. Enjoy drinks, dinner and drinks, or just go to watch a movie. The ambiance is laid back and casual, but the spirits and food are elevated. We had a group of eleven and the service was prompt. The veggies on my flatbread were perfectly roasted, fresh, and not a bite was left :) Love coming here when the weather is warm, the garage doors open, and plenty of outside seating.

First time visiting Lancaster, and it feels like we made the right move getting lunch here. They have a pretty decent menu, varying from burgers & chicken, to salads & vegetarian options. I liked the variety, and I left feeling like I could go back to try something totally new. Obviously, they have a strong drink menu. I actually tried the Wawa coffee stout. I've been wanting to try it for so long, and it was good, but regretted getting it with this meal because it has more of a holiday flavor (cinnamon, cloves, etc.) We had an order of their Vietnamese loaded fries. These stole the show...so much flavor - big portion (plenty for sharing with a group of 5.) It carries all the fresh & spicy flavors of a banh mi sandwich - really tasty. We also had the "boring burder" - which was good in its own right. Cooked well, nice flavor, wasn't messy or anything like that. I personally wish it would have had more of a crunch. It was served on a brioche bun, but that quickly absorbed all the good flavor of the burger & other ingredients, so while it was yummy, it just felt heavy to eat. Maybe using fresh red onion or fried onion ring instead of sauteed or something like that. Cool place inside - plenty of space. Kind of like a warehouse vibe. They have their stilling open to the public to see while you are eating. Interesting art throughout, as they have a theater theme. The outside eating looked really cool - fire pits and picnic tables. It was crowded, so you can tell its a local favorite. We unfortunately had a super long wait for our food, and an item was forgotten. They graciously took that off the bill with no issues, but without those couple of hitches - this was an all around good spot. Must try if you are in downtown Lancaster.

The owners of this place need to get their yelp listing revised to their new name-- Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse since it's far more fitting to the great facility they have become! ... and they were great before! We have been many times for excellent films, appreciated monitoring their move to Water Street and exceptional construction and renovation work to create their restaurant/stillhouse/patio. We finally got to experience all of it-- and it was first Friday in Lancaster which made it an extra treat. Do go. We had a brief happy hour at the bar pre-movie. The bar sells PA spirits and they have an exceptional collection plus great cocktail recipes. We then headed to the movie. We got some of their great popcorn with REAL butter... and a glass of wine for me and cider for my co-traveler.... claimed our favorite sofa and enjoyed an exceptional movie. I won't name it because we've seen many exceptional movies there, you really can't go wrong. When the movie ended we were happy to discover live music for First Friday-- Dillweed was playing great music on the patio. We got a table and enjoyed an excellent meal and tried another of their cocktails and even a glass of great local Pa wine. And I'm picky about that--- it was dry and wonderfully full flavored! Go for one or all of these things! There are also 2 'conjoined?' But separate restaurant/bars on the property... we did not visit but they also had great menus and you could partake of the same patio. This is not just a Lancaster gem... it's like a full on diamond. :)

We had dinner here for my birthday before going to Kinky Boots at the Fulton Theatre. It was perfect! Nice people. Really good food. Fun drinks! Oh, and the atmosphere and ambiance were spot on fun. Cheers! We'll be back.

Really unique and interesting place. There's a large beer and spirits menu with craft cocktails. Something for everyone. We tried some appetizers and flatbreads for Restaurant Week. Apps (starting with the best) were the Farm Stand Seasonal Vegetables, Bruschetta Fries, and Smoked Gouda Dip. The veggies were zucchini in a wine and oil sauce. The cheese and tomatoes on the fries were very fresh and complimented each other. The Gouda dip was tasty, but I would have preferred freshly made chips to the standard restaurant tortillas. The Margherita and Buffalo Chicken Flatbreads were exceptional. Great crust, high quality toppings, and flavorful cheese. They were the best part of the meal. James served our party of 4 and was very personable. Food and drinks came out slow and in bits and pieces. We weren't in a rush so it was fine, but if we had to be somewhere it would have been a different story.

They walked us through how the night would go, and everything felt super organized. For appetizers, we had mac and cheese and bruschetta -- both solid choices. The mac and cheese was simple but tasty, and the bruschetta was fresh and flavorful. For entrées, we went with the salmon (roasted potatoes & string beans) and the filet mignon (same sides). The salmon was a little overcooked, and I do wish we could have picked our own sides, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Everything was still good. Dessert was hands down the highlight. The apple crisp and brownie sundae were amazing. And then the show... wow. The acting, the singing, the dancing; all fantastic. They absolutely crushed Footloose! Definitely recommend this place if you want dinner and a show all in one. I'd go again in a heartbeat. 1000000000/10 recommend.

This building has been painted and decorated to keep with the time period. Very cool if you are into history. After our dinner, we were given a tour of the catacombs, brewery, dining areas, etc. The tour guide was the owner who was also an actor in our dinner. He is full of knowledge and information about the beer making process and the building itself. The murder mystery dinner was fun. There are 3-4 rooms with patrons and a bar area. The actors move throughout the rooms giving hints, etc. There is a bar where the appetizers were set up and where you were able to order drinks. The drink menu was varied and had some interesting choices. Most were sweet drinks. They do have a full bar as well so you can find something to drink. Dave the bartender is super friendly and attentive. He makes the experience fun too. I would think that they would have had more elevated drinks relevant to that time period. I understand that they were trying to make it more relevant to today to get sales and make people happy. They had lots of options. Even a peanut butter/jelly martini that was spot on. The show itself was great. Very well played by the actors. Hard to follow along a little as the rooms do cause a barrier and you miss parts of the 'show' and the actual murder itself. The actors are friendly and fun. Some people that came even dressed the part. It's a murder mystery speakeasy theme. The hotel and rooms really fit the time period for this as well. The food was a typical buffet/cafeteria food options. You had to pick from chicken or steak when you bought your tickets online. The tickets were about $65 per person. That doesn't include the cost of drinks. The drinks were not pricey. You are paying for entertainment so keep that in mind. We had apps at the bar area that was self serve. Then, we had a salad that was good and soup that was just as good too (broccoli and cheddar). We then had the main course that was served with corn and mashed potatoes. The sides were just meh and the meats were a little dry. There is butter on top of the steak that is tasty. The steaks are served one temp and are thin. We were then given coffee and a piece of chocolate cake with whipped cream on top. After the dinner reveal, the bartender gives you some history of the building and then the owner will come back and take you on at our through the entire building. It is a maze. Super cool to see all the parts. This was a great activity to do. Again, you aren't paying for a $65 meal, but rather entertainment. I would for sure go again. They do have lots of other entertainment options throughout the year and we were told that Halloween is a super spectacular time to visit. If you like history, you will love this place. It is also a working hotel.

The dining areas had a great ambience of history with the exposed subterranean walls. The pin point lights intermingled with the red drapes added to this atmosphere. As beautiful as this was to the eye, it made reading the menu a challenge. Because to bring your cell phone or a flashlight, if you expect to read anything. Then the menu. To say there was an imbalance between entree pricing and preparation quality would be an understatement. We were alarmed by the sheer elevated prices, especially once discovered how average to sub-par the meals actually were. My wife was very disappointed with her pork. And as someone who has enjoyed and prepared Oscar for my entire adult life, this was easily the worst I ever tasted. I certainly had much higher expectations for the $70 charges for my plate alone. Service was the rotten cherry on top. As a diner, there was an overhanging sense that the motivation was to turn the tables for the next pending tour group. Then when you wanted assistance, no one was to be found. My wife had to walk to the service station herself, Just to get a box. All in all, I won't ever go back to Bube's. I'll also double down, and eagerly recommend that none of my friends go either.

That also kind of played into the whole way this played out. Before you come here they will send you an email with information on how to proceed. You will get confirmation numbers after you select your meal. Chicken, fish, or vegetarian are your choices. They also tell you that the actors will be intermingled throughout the crowd. Having four tables taken up by your group cuts down on who the actors are and helps you out in the end. The show is entertaining. I laughed a few times to the point where I had heads turn my way. The actors were spot on for their script and at the end of each act, which you should pay attention to, you are given a QR code to go through the clues. As the show is going on you are treated to a meal. But it is not obviously the best selection of food. As this is being hosted at a hotel, you are eating hotel food that you might find if you attended a banquet at said hotel. It fits the bill for dinner and a movie, but otherwise, nothing to write home about. Back to the show portion. I forgot to mention that you have a mingling session at the start. You are encouraged to go around the room and network to see if you can get any information on who you might think are the actors before you really know they are an actor. At the end, you get to write down your answers to see if you are right. You most likely will be right, but a majority of the room will probably be right as well. The thing I didn't like about it was that even though you might have the right answer, you most likely will not get picked as the winner at the end of the night. You will most definitely see that the winner will have been sitting at the table with the 'whodunnit' all along. It isn't that bad of a night. It is a great time to be had. You are paying for dinner and a show and that they deliver on. The actors are hilarious, and when they need to attend to business they attend to business. We had one person who needed a vegan option and they pulled through for us at the last minute. I really appreciated that.
