It's one of those simple things that makes a big difference, especially when you're out all day shopping in the area. Definitely appreciated! If you're able to download the app, you can get the Regal unlimited movie pass for about $27 a month. I went on Groupon and found a pass for $21 a month for three months. It's totally worth it if you go to the movies often. I didn't redeem it that much in the three months but it's still worth it to me if you at least go twice. I purchased tickets via the kiosk, but had an issue with printing our tickets. For some reason, the other kiosk was not able to print our tickets and there was no staff at the service counter. I ended up asking the staff at the concessions for assistance. They were able to get us sorted out and since we arrived fairly early, we made it to the movie on time. Free drink and popcorn- color me happy! Thankyou Regal Auditorium has new seats looks great and updated. First time I actually saw the worker go row to row to wipe down the tables then sweep. The cup holders looked grungy inside but the rest was a pleasure to watch a movie in here. Hope Regal Pearl Highlands gets a makeover soon too. Great theater. Very clean with comfortable seats. They have special rates on Tuesday so make it a date night or a night out with your Ohana. They've got seat selection as part of the purchase price. The regal app provides a map of available seats....but the site does charge a convenience fee. As is the case in most theaters these days they have a lot of coming attractions so the film never starts at posted time. For me that's a good thing. If I had one wish I'd like them to add a cartoon or a newsreel like back in the day! read more

Needs to improve: Concession lines - should not be separate lines some end up being so so slow... while others move quickly. Have seen and experienced this multiple times. Should be like the Pearl Highlands concession line - a single line and the next available server calls the next person in line. Main ladies restroom - filthy. Went in at 7:50pm and one stall is out of commission (wrapped in blue plastic - has been this way for weeks) and another stall has a seat so dirty no one could use it. At 10:10pm went back into the restroom and the stall with the dirty seat was still dirty. Floors and sink counters were so wet... Such a turn off. Seats that used to be in the lobby have been moved. Can't sit while waiting for your friends to arrive before a movie. Sometimes they check your bag. Sometimes they don't. Not consistent. Theaters are ok. Each seat has a tray table. read more

I went to this theater for the first time last month and it has quickly grown to be on my favorites list. There's plenty of parking and there's tons of retail/ restaurants around the area to make a great dinner and movie experience. The theater is bright, clean and welcoming. They have food specials as well as your standard theater food. The prices on the local specials were pretty good as compared to the standard popcorn and drink prices. The seats are roomy and comfortable. Be aware that the most popular seats in the middle are getting worn down. I like the swinging food tables for each seat. Some regal cinemas do not have these. Overall a wonderful movie spot. Friendly staff and great food options make this place a winner. read more

BUYING TICKETS -- Tickets are bought from a self-serve machine at the front. There are three machines. We came here on a late Saturday afternoon and there were no other people in line for the machine. The machines have a slightly slow response when clicked. We decided to skip buying snacks for the movie since we wanted to eat dinner right after, so I have no review for the concessions stand. RESTROOMS -- Restrooms are mostly clean and presentable. No complaints. MOVIE EXPERIENCE -- The theater is overall clean. The chairs here recline. PARKING -- Lots of parking in Kapolei Commons, so there isn't an issue finding a parking spot within a minute walk of the entrance. read more

Movie night... When Nadine asked if I wanted to so see a movie you know I'm there! I really don't go very often as most folks I know aren't interest in it very much sadly so sure I was really excited and thank you Nadine! Showing is for Shogun before it's release on February 27th to FX and Hulu which I don't have and had no idea but was intrigued nevertheless and it's also my first time here at Regal Kapolei Commons which absolutely beautiful btw as it's so nice and clean the staff that was in charge of organizing and setting up was patient and polite to keep us all updated so we all patiently waited which made it a great chance to catch up and chat. Once we're all ready I was so impressed and surprised that we also got free popcorn and drink ready for us, what a wonderful and thoughtful gesture and oh how I'm so ready to kick back and enjoy after we grabbed our seat which is very nice and comfy...the recline is fabulous! Great showing as we dove further and discussed about how history and it's making is quite insane I thoroughly enjoyed it all and am so thankful to have this opportunity...thank you again Nadine! I was gifted some gift cards for Christmas and thought I would see the new Captain America Movie this last weekend. I bought my ticket on the app, which was super user friendly and I was able to buy my ticket with ease. When I arrived and headed to the concession stand, the staff were super friendly and super helpful. Having some random food allergies, my snack options are limited. I ordered the nachos with jalapenos. I would say that my only complaint, if I were to complain was that the nacho cheese and the jalapenos were on the side. I would like to emphasize, that I don't mind either way and this is not a deal breaker. However, when buying nachos you expect the cheese and the toppings to be on the top of the chips. Since it was a matinee' the theater where the show was pretty empty and I was able to watch and enjoy my show. It was worth my trip out to Kapolei. read more

ZERO STARS FOR MY MOST RECENT VISIT TO REGAL. Not sure when checking bags and purses went into effect but apparently, workers that scan your tickets are "supposed" to do bag checks. Wasn't aware that the movie theater turned into the airport. Anyway, the lady scanning our ticket told the party before us after doing a bag check, that "they weren't supposed to bring that into the movies." And that she'll "let them go this one time." But after looking in my purse with no warning or signage at the door or anywhere else in the theater, she told me that I basically couldn't bring food inside. I then talked to the manager and was of no help. Again, NO SIGNS OR LABELS SAYING THEYRE CONDUCTING BAG CHECKS. Manger told me that we would have to take it outside or eat it in the lobby. Since our movie started in less than half an hour, we opted to leave our food in the car. Super disappointing experience out of how many times that we've been to Regal Kapolei. No grace, and no curtosey or letting us go for this one time. Cashwrap experience was terrible too! Cashier was told that he could go home in the middle of me trying to get my order in, which I thought was extremely rude. Not even a greeting or anything. Overall terrible experience in one night. Would 100% rather go to Consolidated down the street after last night. So as of 2/14/2025, MAKE SURE NOT TO BRING FOOD AS STAFF ARE ALL SUPPOSED TO CONDUCT BAG CHECKS. I haven't been to the theatres in years but my son wanted to see a certain movie, so I decided on this theatre since we've never been to it. I had purchased tickets online through my work but still had to check in at the kiosk to get the actual movie tickets. The kiosk was a bit finicky with absolutely no one around to assist. I had to assist some elderly couples since the employee near the concession seemed to be hiding behind the front desk door. The concession stand didn't have many workers so there was a long line. I recommend tag teaming with your family members, someone to order the food and the other to secure the tickets. The reclined seats weren't as great as I had imagined and the arm rests looked absolutely run down. It was quite empty on a Saturday and understaffed. read more

Don't have somewhere to go during the holidays - Visit a movie theater to watch or rewatch a new release. Wicked the movie was released this week and I was dying to watch it. Hubby said why not watch it on Thanksgiving? I rather watch movies during the day because matinees seem to be a little cheaper and I get the rest of the day to do other things. There are 3 theaters in the Kapolei area and this is the only Regal here. The other two are consolidated. I don't really have a preference but when booking/buying tickets through their app, Regal has a better user interface, imo. The theater we went into was a smaller one but I like that. Gotta love the recliner with the built in tray and cup holder. The seats are clean, the arm chairs look worn so bring a small blanket or thin towel to sit on if that bothers you. The biggest issue I had was how long we waited in line for our snacks. Of course we got there plenty of time but couldn't understand why the lines were taking so long. There were 3 lines but just one popcorn maker operating. That's fine, but it seemed like we didn't move at all and there were two "small groups" in front of us. No complaints for the folks who work there. They were doing their best to work as fast as they can. Of course if the show says it will start at a certain time you have to give another 20 minutes for the movie to actually start. I guess that was good for us because we got there 10-15 minutes before the scheduled showing but the extra time for previews we were able to sit right before the movie started with the popcorn, hotdogs, and drinks we ordered. Always give yourself plenty of time before the movie to get your food and use the restroom. With all this being said my score is closer to a 3.5 than just a 3. All seats in theater #10 were refurbished and brand new (as of 12/14/25). I did not see the other theaters, but I'd assume they are all refurbished. I previously would not watch a movie here because of the seats. They use to look grungy, but now they look brand new. read more

ZERO Stars On Sunday, 5-25-25, my husband and I visited the Regal Kapolei Commons location to watch the 7:10 Mission Impossible. We purchased our tickets using the Atom App and had seats G-13 and G-14. We were allowed entry to the movie after scanning our QR code. The attendant did ask after scanning If our tickets were refunded. Which they were not. He told us we were ok to enter. We proceeded to our seats and a few moments later another woman approached stating she had the same Seats. We shared our seat confirmations with each other and we were both in fact assigned the same seats. We each sought a manager to figure out what happened. While I was outside waiting for assistance, another manager went into the theater and rudely accused my husband of being in someone else's seats and told him that he had to take up the problem with Atom, even saying he didn't care what my husband had to say. He tried to show him our ticket QR code and bank statement to show we paid but he repeated he didn't care and said he was in someone else's seat and needed to leave. My husband was embarrassed and escorted out. We were not offered different seats or any solutions. We asked to refund our concession purchases and while issuing our refund the manager called my husband a "dick" twice to another manager right in front of me. We were treated with absolute rudeness and we would have willingly tried to find a solution had we not been treated so atrociously. I went back the next day to make a complaint and was told I would be called back which I never was. This theater has extremely poor customer service and I am absolutely embarrassed at how we were treated. We were told they have a lot of issues with Atom and we were never notified by atom that our tickets were cancelled. We would have happily paid for different seats had we been given the option. But we were treated like we snuck in or stole seats. Called names. And escorted out of the theater in a humiliating way. It's not right to be treated in such a manner over something that wasn't our fault. read more

As of late, I frequent this theater because it's closest to me. Staff has been friendly and kind. The concession are like any other regal theater and they're always fully stocked. The theater itself is no longer warm inside but nice and cozy. My husband and I really enjoy our time at the movies and are looking forwards to many more movies here. The only problem I have is they do not show the masterpiece movies at this locations and a lot of times the new movies selections are not available here. For example, The Threesome, Splitvilles, lurker, NI Zha ll, etc. were not available here. But that's not going to stop me from enjoying the other movies here. This concession has overcharged me the last 2 times I went to the movies. Today they charged us for an extra sauce for the chicken tenders. We did not ask for any extra sauce. Last time they charged me for an extra slice of cheese for my cheeseburger. I order a "cheeseburger", not a cheeseburger with extra cheese. We were overcharged for other things in the past as well. I assume their managers have instructed the employees to nickel & dime their customers! I love this location, especially when it's not too crowded and filled with lines. It's a pretty clean location, however that's just the lobby and hallways. Going into a theater screen room is a whole other story. I guess that's why they keep it dark. It's my first time going back to the theaters since the pandemic, and I was excited for the new Jujutsu Kaisen movie. My friend reserved our seats online, the staff was nice and welcoming, everything was going smoothly until I saw our seats. I was just shocked on how torn and overused the chairs were, especially where I was seated. It made my movie experience uncomfortable when I should be comfortable watching a movie. There were still some popcorn in between the seats. The side tables were not wiped. The seats were just in bad condition. Cracked and damaged leather, not a good feeling when wearing shorts or a skirt. It's time for new seats(maybe not leather) or bring something that would cover that. read more

First time back to the theater--to see 007 on the big screen. We went to Kapolei during the weekday to avoid crowds and we were 2 of 8 people in the whole theater. I worried for the business but was selfishly glad for our first time. We splurged and bought popcorn and a large soda to watch the movie with. Concession line moves extremely slow. We stood in line for over 51 minutes. Had to send my family in so that they wouldn't miss the movie. If you want to get snacks its smarter to arrive about an hour or so before the movie starts for new movies and maybe 30 minutes for regular movies. My first time here to Regal Kapolei Commons grew up in this neighborhood but ever since moved hardly come to the Westside . Decided to take my grand nephew to watch Minions. The movie was ok funny but sometimes boring . Although the theater was very clean and spacious but the leather seats a little wear and tear . Theater Located right next door to La tour cafe and Gyu kaku . Lots of ample parking available. The only downside today experience was the concession stand didn't have boxes available for your popcorn or to carry your snack and drinks . The counter person said they ran out of boxes so she gave us small little plastic lids instead. Theaters should never run out of boxes that is the most important necessity item for customer. Also the lids they provided was little bento lids how can you split popcorn among your party so small. Anyway other than that the main thing my nephew had fun and he really did lol . Our family decided to take the kiddos to the movies to watch Aquaman 2. We got there with enough time to order some food while the kids go get our seats. Well, that's what we thought! Mind you, it was NOT busy at all, like hardly anyone buying popcorn or whatever. The family in front of us put in their order while we figured out what we all wanted. When we finally figured out what to order we went to the next open register. This guy DID NOT look like he wanted to be there!! We gave him our order and my brother repeated it to him several times and he still got it WRONG! Like, it's not busy, there's not a lot of people behind us and yet his communication skills was Non Existent!! He literally didn't look like he wanted to be at work and moved super SLOW!! Then, we had to wait for the hot food at the end of the counter and that family before us was still WAITING! Like, it's been almost 10-15 minutes before we even had to wait for our order. We ALL were standing there and NO ONE cared to ask us if we're waiting, needed anything, apologized for the long wait or whatever. They just kept walking by ALL of us with no kind of care. Customer Service was not working tonight!! When the other family finally got their food, it was just a small order of fries or something. Then when we got our order it was WRONG! Then they had to CONFIRM with the guy that took our order of it was correct cause we didn't have our receipt cause my nephew took it with him by accident!! I have the Regal Unlimited pass so I go pretty often. The concession stand is hit or miss most days. Sometimes the butter dispenser is broken. There was a day they didn't have any of the boxes to split your popcorn with other people. They gave you extra bags. That made a hot mess.. Depending on which theater your movie is playing in, more often than not, the seats look like they've seen better days. The pleather is not holding up well to usage. You may want to bring a blanket or sheet to cover the seat if this bothers you. The bigger theaters that you have to pay more for have nice seats. They look almost pristine. Bring a jacket it tends to be cold. Tips from a frugal mom.. Use your points for a Free Small popcorn and upgrade to a Large. The upgrade will cost only $2 to do this. Then redeem your free large popcorn at the same time or after your movie and take fresh popcorn home for later snacking. Easily feed 4 to 6 people popcorn for just $2. This way you maximize on your points vs using way more points to get a free large popcorn. Sign up for a regal account and download the app to use. You can book your seats from the app. There is a small service charge to do this. And you accrue points you can spend on things. Unsure if you get this if you don't have the unlimited pass but on your bday you get a free large drink and popcorn. There are no black out dates for the Regal Unlimited. No need for movie to be two weeks old to see it. You can go on opening day to new movies if you want. I personally wait for less crowded days to go, but you do you. read more

Went here to watch a movie at 6:10, and the popcorn line was very long so I had to wait for a while. The movie theater was decently clean, but the movie itself started 30 minutes later than scheduled. The seats looked like it went through a lot of people, but at least the reclining workers. I come here at least twice a week. Conveniently located along my way home, close to the freeway with ample parking. Sometimes even during rush hour or opening premier you will find a parking spot close to the main entrance. The one-star deduction is due to the fact that the lines to the snack bar move sooooo slow. Luckily for me, I normally do not buy food here. If I do, I normally order their 4pcs chicken tenders with ranch sauce. Overall, pretty typical theater with open receiving area with seating area in the corner, ticketing booth, snack bar, mostly clean toilets with additional one inside the main theater pass the ticket clerk.
