We came to have lunch before our flight. The place is huge and had several waiters and not a lot of patrons. We were sat immediately. The server was very impatient and rolled her eyes when one at our table changed her mind (it was my fault - I asked what soup was on and the french onion option changed her mind). She was rude about it. We choose to split the greek salad (huge, tons of veg, and a great dressing), onion rings (delicious but had a hair on the plate - when we brought it to our servers attention, she apologized and removed it. She came back 5 minutes later and asked if we wanted a new one?!), and 3 french onion soups (decent but warm at best). We got the rings at the end of our meals and paid full price. Tip option comes up high which is super frustrating. I'm a fan of tipping but am getting frustrated with the quality of food and service. read more

I was recently travelling out of Saskatoon and had dinner at this aviation themed restaurant. There is a plane wing over the bar, a tail wing in one wall and a propeller on another wall. I had the True North Burger that came with lettuce, tomato, bacon, purple onion, melted cheddar, onion ring and BBQ sauce. I upgraded mine with a side of poutine fries. It was the best looking burger I have had in a long time. It even tasted better than it looked. The Poutine was very good as well with beef gravy and real cheese curds melting on top. I have been here before and will come back again. The service was very good and pretty fast, although it was slow at the time I arrived. I would definitely recommend this diner to others. read more

They have an extensive menu including an all day breakfast, which we had before our flight. It was delicious: the eggs cooked well, the bacon was cooked to order - very crispy - and they had gluten-free bread which both of us need, along with dairy-free items. The only thing keeping it from 5 Stars was that the hashbrowns had a wheat coating, for some reason, so we couldn't have it. We recommend it. read more

Food is overpriced for the quality. But they know you don't have options at the airport. The spinach dip is good but if you get it to go they give you smaller portions. If you get their butter chicken and ask for extra rice in place of the naan bread they will charge you extra. They said rice costs more than Naan Bread! The waitress didn't know what utensils were.. I wish there was other options. Next time I'm hungry at the airport I'll order from skip the dishes or Uber eats and get it delivered to the airport if I have time to wait! read more

I asked for beer (original 16). they had just changed the tank so came out all foam! she kept pouring out the foam off my glass but took a dirty rag to wipe my glass. when I asked for a new glass as I didn't appreciate my glass being wiped by this cloth she started laughing as did two fellow workers beside her near the counter. I didn't appreciate being disrespected as a customer. She then came to the table with my beer and attitude to take my order. Christina was her name. Wow this place is awful, ordered what I thought was a noodle bowl. It tastes like someone described a noodle bowl to someone who had never eaten one before. The noodles were cold, there was no cilantro, no peanuts, no chili oil, and the fish sauce tasted like water. It was served with the saddest veggie spring rolls that tasted like a worse version of the freezer burnt ones that come from Walmart. They covered the chicken in what tasted like just hoison and Chinese 5 spice, neither of which are typical part of this dish. It was completely inedible. As for the service after our server dropped off our food she didn't come back to check on how our meal was, we had to flag down another staff member to ask for hot sauce and the forgotten cilantro. Overall a terrible experience would not recommend, should of just got something from Tim Hortons instead. read more

I guess this place is new at YXE Airport. I ordered the Thursday special; Salmon Alfredo w/ Garlic Toast. First time I've seen baby carrots in my pasta. Pasta was cooked perfectly, although it was dry for an alfredo dish. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Not impressed with the toast;sliced bread with butter, hardly any garlic taste. As a fellow member of the service industry i decided against leaving a review my first two visits to this establishment. Food is good, drinks are good, but after my third visit and being served by the most miserable woman I've ever met, I won't come here again. Would leave a half star if I could. I ordered the prime rib burger with a salad. The burger wasn't bad if you don't mind frozen burger patties. The lettuce in the salad was very wilted. Nobody checked with me to ask how the food was. When I finished, my plate was collected. And then I was ignored. I waited quite a while but nobody was bringing my bill. I asked one server who was walking by, I saw her tell my server who looked at me and laughed, and then still didn't bring it. Almost 10 minutes later another server asked if I needed anything. I said, just the bill please. Finally, I got the bill. Needless to say there was no tip. Also, I will never return. Food is overpriced for what it is, that's for sure. World record bad service. It's busy right now but there is standing room at the bar. Refused to let me buy a drink and be at the bar. Would allow me to buy a drink and go sit out in the unserviceable area. Makes no sense to not let someone be at the bar and enjoy multiple beverages. Isn't this how they make money? read more
