The exterior is beautiful. The outdoor area looks so inviting here. As soon as we enter, we were greeted by a gentleman with a great smile. It made us feel welcomed. Served us very nice as well. The food here are not extraordinarily gourmet but it scores 8 out of 10. Menu has a little bit of Greek, Canadian and Italian. I thought it's a good mix of choices. I was looking forward to trying this restaurant for a year after relocating to SK, what a sad outcome. Sat beside the staff booth to over hear work conversations a customer shouldn't hear, then to be served a medium rare steak that was so undercooked - Easily blue rare. It was a real sad experience! A group of six women were at Mano's for lunch yesterday. Our server Caralee was fantastic ... she was attentive in a very non-annoying way as well as friendly and helpful. The food was (as always) delicious and beautifully presented. I had the crispy mushroom wrap which came with a warm quinoa pilaf. It was excellent. The soup of the day was mushroom wild rice soup and it was a perfect side. The others had the brunch menu specials (various Eggs Benedicts) and they all said their food was delicious. We always come away from Mano's felling satisfied with the food, the service and the ambience. They are consistently above average in all areas of their biz. We will be back for sure! read more

Food was amazing I had the Chicken Alfredo. Best I ever had from a restaurant. Didn't make you feel like bad in your body from eating it wasn't super heavy like most Alfredo sauces it was great. Would recommend. My girlfriend and her sisters had the chicken wings and they said they were amazing so I'll take their word for that. Service was decent. I randomly found it off google maps so I didn't realize how fancy it was. Felt mildly discriminated against bc I wasn't dressed up. Ambiance is very fancy and formal and if you don't match that you feel very out of place. I would definitely go again. You're looking at probably around 20$ per person if you order basic stuff. We dined at Mano's with another couple Oct22/23. Food was excellent.Service was great however the other lady & myself ordered hot water instead of coffee. Our bill was over $200.00 which isn't out of the ordinary for dinner. However we were charged $2.00 each for a cup of hot water. We felt this was uncouth for this type of dining! I have been to Mano's twice over the past year. I really want to love it however in the food scene of Saskatoon I feel that it falls short. Both times I have ordered the French onion soup and dry ribs with caesar salad. The French onion soup presentation is great and the soup is quite good! However the dry ribs and caesar salad is a simple dish but is done very poorly. The dry ribs are cooked but somewhat have a mushy outside. I found them very fatty, chewy and flavourless . However they do give a big portion of dry ribs. I asked for tzatziki to dip the dry ribs it was bland and also flavourless- you can get better tzatziki at opa. The caesar salad was nothing special it felt like I could find each ingredient at Costco but still make a better salad. For a total of $35 before tax I would consider this meal decent for portions, but I would not recommend this restaurant to others. Saskatoon has an amazing restaurant scene and Mano's unfortunately falls short on very simple foods that could easily be elevated. read more

We often order from here when we are craving the incredible Lemon chicken soup. It's amazing and definitely worthy of being the priority of any order especially if you love lemons. This time we added pizza's to the other and I must admit although this restaurant is great, there pizzas are very disappointing. Both pizza's were over cooked with very little topping besides the cheese which there was a lot of. Normally not a bad thing but there cheese tastes like a lower quality filler type mozzarella. We also had the dry ribs which were very over priced for what you get and very chewy and displeasing. Order the soup for sure, pass on any pizza or dry ribs. On my last day in Saskatoon, at the suggestion of my friend, we headed to Mano's for dinner and planned on enjoying a shared appetizer feast. Upon the entering the sliding doors we were greet by a pianist seated by the entrance and made our way to a table. Once we got to our seats we were greeted by our server for the night who told us about the half-priced Martini special (on Friday's and Saturdays...and it so happens that we went there on a Friday night) and so that got my mind made up for what I wanted to drink. First I had a Hypnotiq and then after I got a Creamsicle martini. The Hypnotiq tasted like it was a bit light on the alcohol while on the creamsicle I got a good taste of the either the pear brandy or the cointreau upon the first sip. But both certainly got my appetite going while waiting for our appetizers. For our shared plates, we picked the Caesar Salad, Cheesy Artichoke and Spinach Bake, Shrimp Scampi and the Calamari. I think all four plates were brought to us at the same time and they all looked good! Neither plate was a disappointment. The spinach bake came with tortialla chips and toasted pita wedges so once our shrimp scampi had been polished off I tried to see how the butter and garlic sauce in the dish would taste by dipping a wedge of pita in it. Oh man, it was heaven and my friend also agreed after doing the same. The calamari also tasted heavenly. The seasoned coating was fluffy and crispy at the same time with every morsel, whether on their own or after being dipped in the tzatziki sauce. The caesar salad acted as a light counter-balance to the more heavier textures of the other three dishes. And just when I thought that we were done eating, the serve brought by a plate with a selection of intoxicating-looking desserts about eight types on the plate. I only remember what we finally decided on which was a chocolaty Nutella Cheesecake with a slightly thick chocolate Ganache or fondant frosting on top, which for me just melted in my mouth. I don't about my friend but I had no regrets going for it and my sweet-tooth always kicks in when chocolaty sweet-foods are concerned. Once we were done with our scrumptious and tummy-filling meal of the night we headed out for an adventure around the city and its out-skirts. Disappointing experience overall. We arrived at the time of our reservation but were made to wait 10 minutes before being seating, despite our party all being present. Once seated, it took an additional 10-15 minutes for anyone to place water at our table or acknowledge us. The meal was adequate and thankfully brought out in a timely manner. The only redeeming quality of our dining experience was Chelsea, our server. She went above and beyond to ensure our meals were great and maintained her composure despite a very busy section. Given the disappointing experience, I don't think I'll be dining there with colleagues or otherwise again any time soon. read more

If this was in any other city than Saskatoon the would let be in business. There's a group of us. The food is overpriced for the quality and taste. I had the lasagna was quite dry, the service is ridiculously slow and their wine selection is mediocre at best. Definitely room for improvement. Not impressed at all after 2 tries. The decor is totally 1980s, very dark and depressing. Terribly dated looking. Both times I was seated close enough to the kitchen to have to be treated to the servers clowning around, laughing loudly, complaining about customers ad nauseam. I come out alone for a nice quiet meal late at night. There were plenty of better tables to seat me at. The service was slow. I had a server the first time who did not give a damn that my steak that was to be medium, arrived well done and actually charred on the edges. When I politely mentioned this, she smirked and rolled her eyes. The second time the waitress was EXTREMELY LOUD and FAKE ACTING. Far too "in your face" and personal. The male manger both times just sat at a table alone, looking spent and bored. My lobster was wayyyyy overcooked. As I sent my steak back, I ate my lobster and veg and in about 30 min. They brought me a fresh steak which I asked to take with me. I ate it the next day, exactly the same. Far overcooked. No pink at all and I looked BEFORE I reheated it. I called Manos back and a female took my complaint and said a manger would call me but no one did. After 2 days I called back and was chastised for not speaking to her sooner about the issues. She asked me to give them another chance and offered me a 'discount' on my next meal. My bill had been over $60 and I did tip $10.00. When I came for my second visit, it was much the same. Empty dead dark place, I tried a different meal, it was far too salty. Service incredibly slow. I had to ask for my food a couple times. I am just not impressed and you guessed it, when I went to pay and asked about the discount offered, the server and manager claimed they knew nothing about this, despite the person on the call had taken all my details, I presumed, in order to record the discount if I came back. The place had few customers and yet the staff SHOUTED to each other and it was like a frat party going on in the back. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I have ordered from Mano's twice in the past couple months and they messed up my order both times. For 6 people they messed up the order for 3 of them, I was specific about a food allergy and they still included the ingredient anyways. I was offered a credit towards the $300 meal and accepted it even though the people couldn't really eat their whole meal. With this credit I ordered again, for two people, and they forgot the dressing for the two salads. I called and spoke to the owner who tried to offer excuses why they screwed up twice now, "it's busy", "we deal with a lot of customers", etc. The owner was not willing to offer a real solution so I opted to not eat at their mediocre restaurant again. The ribs have tasted different every time I've ate in the establishment, the food was cold delivered, forgotten items, a general lack of caring, trying to make a person sick by including items a customer is allergic to, and poor ownership will destroy any food experience at the restaurant. I'm ashamed that you are in Saskatoon. I used to go to Mano's when I was younger (before the renovations), the food used to be delicious, it was inexpensive and an enjoyable atmosphere. Not sure if the great chef left but the food went downhill after that point. The prices went up substantially and the service level plummeted. I am hoping the people of Saskatoon avoid this poorly run business. read more

We have been coming to Manos weekly for over a year. The staff and management are fantastic and treat us like Royalty. We have never had a bad meal. The staff give a 120 percent service. We have gone to Mano`s a few times in the last 15 months but never again. The food here used to be good but not anymore. It`s like they just stopped caring. Must have a bunch of kids in the kitchen. They up charge you for what they can get, just like the Red lobster, and quality of food is the same as Tomas Cook, bad. The Granary they still up charge you, but at least the quality is good. The Station Place has the best food now. And no up charging. read more

Ordered a late lunch for delivery. Wait time was specified as 50 mins...it was well over 1 hr before we got our food. The delivery driver was on his phone with our food in a brown bag sitting on the doorstep (it was -22 out). I don't know how long he had been out on deliveries for, or when he planned to ring our doorbell, which I specified in the delivery comments. Good thing one of us happened to see him through the window standing on our walkway. Our food was cold! I have been to Manos several times and it has always been good. We ordered Reuben sandwiches which were not good. Very little cheese and had to pick the sandwich apart to find any sauerkraut. Meat was full of gristle and due to being cold, made it even worse. Although Mano's patio is pretty especially in the summer time when we went to the restaurant, the food isn't too good. I ordered the chicken souvlaki-the Greek salad and with romaine lettuce, not a real Greek salad which should be mostly tomatoes, cucumbers, with no green lettuce. Then the most ridiculous part of the chicken souvlaki was that it literally was half a skewer. I mean four tiny squares of chicken meat. Ridiculous for $13. If I cut up a chicken breast, it would be a quarter of a chicken breast. read more

Absolutely disgusting. Both my mother and I found several human hairs on our serviettes. My mothers order, a fettuccine Alfredo, came out wrong, and when she did get her meal the alredo sauce was very watered down and bland. I ordered the beef fragolaki and it was so tough and flavourless that I couldn't even stomach it. They also let me into the lounge area, and I am a minor, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Used to go here and have good experiences as well as great food and big portions. It's gone downhill though and the last time I went in particular the service was awful and the food was mediocre. The server also made a mistake on one of the meals at our table and tried to argue that my friend was mistaken. I would not go there for a special occasion. Their New York Steak was charged almost same price as KEG but the quality and taste of the meat are not even close. But their quantity is huge and greasy like a typical low end american restaurant such as the Chilis. We celebrated my sister in law's birthday over there and they totally ruined it for us. Made a reservation but they gave our table away so we had to sit in the lounge for 30 minutes. There was nothing complimentary for our birthday celebration no candles and no birthday song. Greek ribs and chicken lemon rice soup are favorites here. The food is usually very good and the service is decent. We usually go for dinner, but it is a decent lunch spot as well. I was dissapointed to see a noteworthy increase in prices of the entire menu after their renovations. I'd have preferred them to not bother with the ultra-modern upgrades but I guess they felt the need to try to compete in decor with some of the trendier places popping up. read more
