(Girl if you don't take this money and fire up these stray chin hairs, come on... I booked a Brazilian how much worse can the chin be? dang) Anyway... My facial with Nicole was lovely and she was careful of my lash extensions but injectables is what we're here to talk about right? Its hard to mess up a facial but needles? Girrrrl I wanna talk about it first. Yasmin was knowledgeable and personable and not only listened to, but clarified my statements about my concerns. She made some recommendations regarding some areas I had been concerned about but I didn't even know there were treatment options for. Sold, ok? Why didn't anybody tell me about that when I was lubricating my credit card with tears? So I bit the bullet and called them to ask why. After reading about morpheus8 and seeing before & after pictures, I was still a little skeptical as to whether or not I'd see results. But, I'm 39 years old and although (I think) I've taken good care of myself, signs of age and time are simply inevitable. The entire team at SEV Laser was welcoming. Not to mention that the facility itself is gorgeous. The morpheus8 treatment was relatively painless. Afterwards, my face was a little swollen & red for a few hours (totally normal and expected) and the aftercare instructions were easy and simple to follow. Now, the results: My best friend that had no idea I'd had morpheus8 done immediately commented the following day how much my skin was glowing. Within a few days, I began to see it for myself. My skin looks and feels sooo, so smooth. It's really incredible what it's done for reducing the size of my pores. The revolving door of managers, nurses, and receptionists do not help their poor management of client records. I participated in a few of their in-store seasonal promos and the front desk staff here verbally confirmed that they had added to my account with 2 complimentary facials for my participation, and that I would be good to use them at any time as per their overall highly-visible and marketed "no expiration" company policy. The staff never gave me any receipt nor written terms, nor did I know to ask since I greenly assumed they would be trustworthy and would have no reason to lie or shortchange me. Which then led LaserAway to deny me the facials rather than take accountability for their poor management and lack of training of staff who apparently were supposed to have responded differently by providing a receipt to me. When I tried to clear up the matter with the West Hollywood office where the staff I had fulfilled the promo deal with were based, none of the (all-new) staff were knowledgeable or helpful to figure out what their predecessors had supposedly done for my account. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I also had been upsold for body microneedling and pre paid $825 and have been emailing with a manager named Kacie who has played phone tag, is never at the phone, im constantly told to email her. But what is the worst of all is that they are incapable of properly overlapping the laser so that the entire area is treated. 90% of the time I would need to go back a week later because there would be so many crescent moon shaped patches of hair they missed. The final straw was when I went in for front of neck. I thought maybe I finally want to try this. I regret doing this at Dr. Laser so much. The image I attached is a week after the first session. I think it speaks for itself, but when I went to follow up about it they gave me the same spiel they always do "your hair is in different phases of its growth cycle, this is normal." Rather than take responsibility for their disorganization and unknowledeable personnel, they just point the finger from one employee to the next and send the client on a wild goose chase with no end. The manager TK claimed he would help me with my account and had scheduled me for that appointment, but later was evasive and refused to help get to the bottom of their errors, saying I would get a call back later in the day, but never calling back, then saying Giau was working on my case and would contact me that afternoon (that never happened). I was told other times by staff that Giau would call me right back the same day or the next day, only to find out later that she was on vacation for the whole week; how is it that their staff does not know when each other is on leave!? Turns out after much back and forth that they had to admit to having erroneously closed my account and had proof in their system the entire time that I had multiple services remaining, but instead of owning up to the gross error, tried to put the blame on me for not having finished the package sooner despite their "no expiration" policy. Seems the policy is just a false promise and ruse to get one to buy more, for since then I have read similar reports from other clients of their accounts being closed and being denied prepaid services because of errors committed by LaserAway.

The clinic also has a refrigerator stocked with bottled water and beverages for patients, which is such a nice touch while waiting for your appointment.
