Today I enjoyed a one hour massage with Corey and it was phenomenal! Corey is a skilled professional who listened to my concerns about problem areas, applied and adjusted pressure accurately and made me feel totally comfortable for my first experience working with him. This combined with the thoughtful atmosphere and friendly staff made my time at Refresh @Mosaic a real treat and I will be back again! I am a long-time client of Mosaic Hair Studio but this was my first experience with Refresh @Mosaic. From the start, my experience was calm, peaceful and relaxing. I checked in at Mosaic where the vibe is upbeat and exciting. I was greeted with a warm welcome and escorted over to Refresh where the atmosphere is instantly calming. Upon entering I was kindly reminded to silence my cell phone because Refresh is a quiet area. Refresh is beautifully decorated in a minimalist style with the right amount of welcoming touches. It smells lovely and I was immediately at ease. I was given an iPad and asked to fill out an electronic questionnaire. I was able to indicate my comfort regarding massage on specific areas of my body. I was also asked about my preference for pressure, music, lotion and conversation. The questionnaire covered many areas that are typically left to conversation with a massage therapist. Corey came in while I was completing the questionnaire and I was happy to discuss all of this with him before my session started. The room itself was very inviting and luxurious. I definitely felt like I was experiencing something special and being there was a wonderful escape from the busy aspects of my life. The temperature of the room was cool and crisp and this was a nice combination with the heated massage table. Corey expertly addressed my problem areas and I felt relief in areas I didn't realize were bothering me. My massage ended with hot towels around my feet. When I came out from the room, Corey greeted me again, asked how I was feeling and gave me water to drink on my way home. He then escorted me back to Mosaic where I checked out. I had a great experience today and highly recommend Corey and Refresh @Mosaic for your next massage.

I booked the Allora Signature package and spent the entire day relaxing and enjoying every service. Next time in town, I will definitely book another Allora spa day. The only change that would have made my experience better is if I did not have to leave the room. Between services, you exit the room and sit in a chair located in a small hallway until the next service. It would've been better and more relaxing, as the client, to stay in the room for all services. Understandably, the spa is small and they do their best to ensure comfort despite the necessary merry go round. This is NOT a deterrent from returning by any means but it did catch me off guard. Gratuity is added and given to an each team member. My appointment was scheduled over the phone which allowed me to customize a service included in the package. A deposit is required at booking and the remaining balance after appointment.

They ask you to arrive 20 minutes early, but there's no reason to: no tour, no walkthrough of the services, no robe, no changing room offered, no one even pointed out the restroom. I was handed a drink and told to "go down the hall, take a right" to the tea room. No escort at a supposed luxury spa. My 90-minute massage started 5 minutes late and ended 13 minutes early. I paid for 90 minutes and received 72. Back in the tea room, another guest's child was playing in the candy, the fountain, and the drinking water while I waited another 10 minutes past my scheduled time. The facial was not the anti-aging facial described just basic rubbing and dermaplaning, delivered after I could hear staff gossiping in the lobby. The "hand and foot treatment" was a dry rub with exfoliation gloves before strapping on lotion-filled gloves and booties. The scalp massage was so perfunctory I asked the technician to stop and end the service early. It felt like they were padding out the clock to make up for time shaved off everything else. Think Massage Envy at triple+ the price. If you're considering the top-tier package here, don't. There is nothing signature or luxury about it.

We had a great experience at Allora Day spa in downtown Orlando…read more We went for a couples deep tissue massage and it was fantastic. The spa was inviting and filled with warm tones throughout. After we checked in we were offered a glass of wine (of your choice) which was a delightful treat and something you often don't see at a spa. We slipped back to the cozy lounge while we waited for our massage therapist to arrive. We were greeted by Angel and Kiara who lead us to our room. Both of them were fantastic and provided a wonderful deep tissue experience. Each of them knew exactly the right pressure and when to dig in deeper After our massage we were both rejuvenated thanks to Angel and Kiara! I highly recommend them and the Allora Day spa!

Their membership tiers are very fair and comprehensive. I love that the unused monthly vouchers can be rolled over to the next month and stacked for multiple services. It's also super convenient that there are no contracts and cancellation is easy. Even though they're downtown, parking is nice because, thankfully, they provide validated garage parking; though the spots there are kinda small and can fill up if you go at busy times. I love that they also have multiple locations, so you can go to whichever location is most convenient. If you're looking to treat yourself to a spa day, I cannot recommend Allora enough.

You can valet at the front, and as long as you have your ticket validated, parking is complimentary, which is a nice perk. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming. We were greeted right away and offered a quick tour of the facilities (optional, but I'd recommend it), then taken to the locker rooms where everything was set up for us, lockers, robes, and spa shoes. The amenities are honestly next-level. They had everything you could think of: q-tips, combs, brushes, hair dryers, hairspray, shower steamers, sugar scrubs, you name it. There was also a lounge area stocked with water and light snacks, which made it easy to relax before and after services. I booked a 50-minute relaxation massage with Shelly, and she was amazing. She made me feel completely comfortable from the start, and the experience felt very personalized. Before beginning, they have you smell two different aromatherapy oils to see what your body needs, which was such a thoughtful touch. The massage itself was incredible, I would absolutely book with her again. Afterward, we spent time enjoying the rest of the amenities, especially the pool. The pool area is beautiful, with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The staff really goes above and beyond, they set you up with a covered chair and even drape a towel to create a pillow for you. The pool temperature was perfect, and having servers walking around to take food and drink orders made it feel even more luxurious. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. Between the beautiful facilities, attentive staff, and little details that make everything feel elevated, I would definitely come back again.

This tiny Eastern European woman was a powerhouse with the massage and I had to have her ease up a few times. The staff was also attentive and wonderful throughout the experience. Where this falls short for me is the atmosphere. When I think Ritz Carlton, I think of the buttery crackers and the Carlton dance from Fresh Prince. After that though, I think luxury and opulence. However, I felt this spa to be a bit clinical to me. Am I in a rehab or treating myself to something amazing? The massage rooms themselves had the same feel... like a treatment room vs. a serene massage environment. Luckily, my eyes were closed most of the time, so it didn't matter much. I feel with different lighting, I would feel exactly like a doctor's office. The inside men's area had a sauna, steam room, hot tub and cold plunge and the area just felt more like a healthcare rehab facility than a luxury spa. The pool and cafe were excellent. It was a nice relaxing pool area with great service from the staff. The cafe had this lump crab salad and honestly, I'd go back just for that.. and probably a massage too!

Yelp Review I rarely…read morewrite negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience because I don't want another guest, especially another woman of color, to leave feeling the way I did. I originally booked this appointment after attending Bella Collina's Girls' Night Out event. The event itself was wonderful, and the spa offered special pricing if services were booked that evening. My mom and I both booked treatments, so I was genuinely looking forward to this visit. Instead, I experienced one disappointment after another. From the moment I called for directions after my GPS brought me through the wrong entrance, the tone of the interaction felt cold and unwelcoming. When I arrived, I immediately noticed the difference between Bella Collina and other luxury spas I have visited. There was no warm greeting, no orientation to the facilities, and no one escorting guests from place to place. I was simply pointed toward the locker room and later told where to go for my treatment. Those details may seem small, but they are exactly what separates true luxury hospitality from an average spa. The interaction with my massage therapist made me especially uncomfortable. She asked whether I wanted the complimentary scalp massage. I explained that I was wearing a wig and would prefer not to have it. Instead of accepting my answer, she continued asking me the same question multiple times. As a Black woman, that exchange felt deeply uncomfortable. Black women wear wigs and other protective styles for many reasons, and I have never before had someone fixate on my hairstyle during a spa treatment. Whether intentional or not, the repeated questioning demonstrated a lack of cultural competence and left me feeling othered rather than cared for. The massage itself was unfortunately the worst I have ever had. Instead of relaxing, I became increasingly tense. I found myself asking to stretch throughout the session because my muscles actually felt tighter as the massage continued. That has never happened to me before. The facial was excellent, and I want to acknowledge that. My esthetician was knowledgeable, professional, and gave me thoughtful advice about my skincare goals. She was the highlight of my visit. Unfortunately, the problems continued afterward. I asked if I could pay before changing into my swimsuit so I could enjoy the spa pool, but I was told no because someone would have to walk me outside. After changing, I returned wearing my swimsuit underneath the spa robe and was immediately told I could not wear the robe outside. At that point, it felt like every interaction centered around another rule or another correction. Instead of feeling welcomed or accommodated, I felt policed. Hospitality should make guests feel comfortable, not constantly worried that they are doing something wrong. Eventually, I decided to leave instead of using the pool because I simply did not feel welcome anymore. The most disappointing part of this experience was not just the poor massage or the lack of luxury service. It was leaving feeling that the staff lacked the cultural awareness necessary to make every guest feel respected and included. That feeling stayed with me long after I left. Bella Collina markets itself as a luxury destination. Luxury is not just beautiful buildings or expensive treatments. Luxury is exceptional hospitality, thoughtful service, and making every guest feel comfortable and valued. Sadly, that was not my experience.
