My daughter has been dancing at Reflections in Dance since she was 6 years old and although there are many studios on the Island I can honestly say after being at a few of their recitals and some of their competition and they were good. But NO studio compares to the Choreography, and the Stories our girls tell through their dance. they love being at the studio with their friends and spend many many hours there rehearsing and preparing for what they worked so hard for all year.................I read the comment made by DB she may have had a bad experience that is understandable. Clique was the wrong word used to describe what the girls have here..............it is NOT cliquish, go to some other studios around the island and then talk to me. these are the friendliest bunch of girls....EVERYONE at some point complains about the money including myself.( I am not a hypocrite I complain too However, that is everywhere but if you think about it this it keeps your kids off the street and in a safe environment and doing something that they love and what is more rewarding then seeing your child do what they love and what gives us more pleasure than watching them shine........................RID is the place to be..................my daughter is dedicated, and LOYAL to this studio ... @ competition everyone is there to cheer on their friends even the parents. if a child is on at 6:30am we are down there watching.......................then we go back to bed..lol These girls will always give it their all especially since our "angel" is always watching and cheering them on from Heaven.. Thirty two years ago, I walked through the doors of Reflections in Dance as a 4 yr old, and it became my second family ever since. It is so much more than a "dance" studio. Besides developing a love of dance, choreography, performing on stage, and competing, I learned the importance of teamwork, camaraderie, confidence, and pushing yourself to always give it your all( Thank you, Ms. Doreen). My daughter has been dancing with Reflections since she's 2 1/2. The studio is a family. The older girls help the younger girls. In our 6 years with RID, my daughter has learned so much, but not only in dance. She has learned what it is like to be a supportive team member and how to work hard at something she loves. RID gives my daughter confidence that carries over to her school work.
