Absolute Disaster - Do Not Trust This Party Planning Business!…read moreI had the unfortunate experience of hiring Party Bliss to handle what should have been a memorable and joyous event, but it turned into an absolute nightmare thanks to their incompetence, false promises, and complete lack of accountability. If you're looking for a company that excels in disappointment and frustration, then by all means, give them a call. Otherwise, run as far away from them as you can. From the very beginning, Dina promised the moon and the stars - a flawless event, seamless coordination, and attention to every detail. What I got instead was a haphazardly thrown together disaster that could have been organized better by a group of toddlers. My order included light up numbers - Dina didn't call me ahead of time to tell me that she couldn't get them. Her guy shows up on the day of my event without them and when I asked him where they were, he then told me that she couldn't get them. When I called her then she told me she was trying to get them up until the last minute and that's why she didn't let me know. I was promised a certain look with the curtains - the scarf was too short so he had to do something completely different and not at all what I had agreed to. I told her that I needed the set up to be completed by a certain time - that didn't happen. My guests started coming and her guy was still setting it up. He brought the wrong color balloons and had to drive back to New Jersey to get the proper color and this is what made the set up time so long. I kept calling her because I knew he was going to be still setting up while my guests would be arriving. I guess she got sick of me calling and then began to yell and scream at me and told me she was going to have him remove everything and leave me with nothing. All of this on the day of my event. Who does that? Dina is nasty and full of well-rehearsed scripts of excuses, blame-shifting and denial. In the end - the whole thing looked like a last-minute DIY project gone wrong, not at all "professional" looking. In conclusion, Party Bliss is a prime example of everything that can go wrong when a company prioritizes making false promises over delivering actual results. They are experts at under-delivering with a side dish of zero accountability. Save yourself the headache, the embarrassment, and the disappointment by taking your business elsewhere. Your event deserves better than the shoddy treatment and blatant unprofessionalism that Party Bliss has to offer.

Even the kids gave us great feedback There are many that provide this service so why use Smiles and Beyond? - We were lucky to reach out to them last minute and they were able to come out to our party. So flexibility - across all aspects. - Pricing is very fair. The service alone was above and beyond from our experience. -- Most importantly - they went above and beyond. We had a projector and some speakers (not that great). Leo asked me if we wanted him to hook up his speaker and projector. I said no it'll do not wanting to bother. He said no, it has to be perfect and so we switched to Leo's speaker and video adapter. So glad we did! (My husband got sick last year and we had to cancel our wedding so this was a way to celebrate our union with family and friends). Leo could have stayed at the booth doing what we hired him for, instead he saw me struggling a little and offered to help. Ella and Leo even came looking for me at the end of the party before packing up just to see if there was anyone else I wanted to take a picture with - knowing I did not get to take many pictures at all while entertaining our guests. So although many will provide a service ... very few actually put people first - and Leo and Ella did just that. From our very first contact - their attention to detail and especially the caring human touch was truly impeccable. With the rain and another party to go to - they did not run out the door when the clock hit 4. Instead Leo and Ella made sure our guests and I were happy - me especially :) Would use them again and if you're shopping around - at least meet with Leo and Ella. The only thing you have to lose is possibly a vendor that cares more about your needs than the paycheck at the end of the party. And I genuinely mean that.

I am a teacher that chaperoned my school's 8th grade prom. The DJ that we had played mostly slow…read moresongs that the students could not dance to. At no point in time did he look up at the crowd to see that the kids were just standing there, not dancing. He also played multiple songs multiple times. When students went up to him to request songs, he told them no. After we heard a 3rd song played a second time, one of the teachers approached him to ask if he could play the songs that the students were requesting. He told her that he was. He then continued to play outdated songs that were not upbeat enough for the kids to dance to. Another teacher then approached him to request songs that the kids wanted to hear. He then told that teacher that he refused to play certain songs because he didn't think the message of the song was appropriate for children to listen to. (Meanwhile he had previously played the uncensored version of Cake by the Ocean, Swalla, and It Wasn't Me). After a 5th song was played for the 2nd time, an administrator had gone up to talk to him. We come to find out that he actually did not have a large catalog of songs to even play, which was why he was playing outdated songs multiple times. He didn't have internet access to download more songs, which was why he wasn't playing the kids' requests. He did not bother to ask the venue for their WiFi password, and after we had gone to get it for him, he could not connect after multiple attempts. With a half hour of prom left, he ended up using a teacher's phone as a hot spot to download more songs. He still argued with us about playing certain songs because he didn't agree with the song's content, even though we as the adult chaperones had said it was fine. When the last song of the night came on, he didn't announce that it was the last song until it was almost over (talking over the music), and as soon as it ended, he didn't say anything and just started packing up. The kids had no idea that the prom was even over. While the kids tried to have a good time, there was a good hour and a half when they were incredibly bored and upset that the music was so poor. It was really only that last half hour when the DJ had used our teacher's phone as a hot spot to download more music that all the kids were on the dance floor with each other.
