Partial Resolution, but Serious Issues Impacted Our Wedding Day…read more We hired Bravo Sound for our wedding on 09/27/25, and unfortunately, the DJ's performance caused significant disruptions during key moments of our ceremony and reception. Specifically: -The DJ (Rob) arrived 2 hours late, delaying the ceremony and reception timeline. -Only 2 out of 3 processional songs we submitted in advance were played. The first song awkwardly looped, and my father walked down the aisle in silence, many guests unaware he walked down at all. -The microphone volume was inadequate and guests could not hear the officiant during the ceremony, even after the officiant asked for the volume to be increased. -Due to the delay, our ceremony ended in darkness, including the vows and our first kiss. -The DJ did not play the correct timestamp for the father/daughter dance. -Unapproved background music was played. -The cake-cutting song was triggered prematurely. After raising these concerns with the vendor, they offered a partial refund of $500. While I appreciate this effort to address the problems, the issues significantly impacted what was meant to be one of the most important days of our lives. I hope this review helps other couples make an informed decision. If you do choose this vendor, be sure to confirm ALL details well in advance and stay vigilant on the day of your event.

Our wedding will go down as the most memorable night of our lives, and that is in no small part…read morethanks to our excellent DJ, Ben Coleman from Remixologists, aka DJ Benja Styles. I'm not exaggerating when I say that once we opened the dance floor during our reception, it was packed for the entirety of the night with excited guests from many generations singing and dancing along to his impeccable set from start to finish. Ben impressed us so much with his attention to detail, responding directly to how our guests reacted to each track, seamlessly transitioning to the next, feeding into the vibe while still surprising us with exciting twists and turns. As emcee for the night, Ben couldn't have been more professional. His announcements were clear, even the difficult names were pronounced perfectly, and every music cue during our cocktail hour, ceremony, cake cutting, and reception was perfectly timed. Ben provided us with very easy-to-follow instructions to help him shape our night. His communication with us was crystal clear; we knew exactly what he needed, and we trusted him to carry it out. We met with him a few times over Zoom in the year leading up to the wedding, and he worked directly with our wedding planner, who recommended him, nailing every detail and request made along the way. I was never once worried or anxious about our decision to work with Ben and Remixologists, as it was very clear he understood exactly what we were looking for, and he was friendly and confident throughout the entire process. Working with Ben was hands down one of our favorite parts of our wedding planning and the event itself. Now a month out, we're still getting compliments from our guests about how much fun our reception was. We wholeheartedly endorse Ben and Remixologists. Our wedding simply wouldn't have been the same without him. He's a true professional, through and through.

Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the music Austin played at cocktail hour, which was a mix of Nick Drake, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and requests we had taken from answers in our RSVPs. When it was time to start dancing, he kicked things off with some Whitney Houston and was extremely welcoming and inviting. In lieu of a wedding band, we organized a DIY jam session involving a good chunk of our guests, who were also musicians. Austin kept the night moving by being ready with transition music between sets and personnel changeovers. He was extremely knowledgeable about gear and communicative with us about our timeline. Would highly recommend and would definitely work with him again!

We hired DJ Dre for our wedding in January and loved working with her! She is upbeat, kind, and fun. Our family and guests had nothing but good things to say about her. Our wedding was a culturally mixed affair, with a wide variety of music tastes and preferences. Dre did a great job incorporating all of them into the mix, bringing everyone out to the dance floor. She was receptive and took time prior to the wedding date to get to know us, our vision, and showed up prepared and invested for our meetings and the day of the wedding. She took our creative ideas and ran with them, putting together an incredibly fun script to introduce a game we made up for our guests to play at our reception. Her enthusiasm took it to the next level and had all our guests engaged and creating lasting memories. Thank you DJ Dre and Beat Train for being a beautiful part of our big day!

Jon was the most organized and collaborative of the bunch. (No offense to our venue, our decorator and our photographer...) Jon really took the time to understand our tastes, the atmosphere we wanted to create, and the flow of events. We never felt obligated to spell out every song he should and should not play. We gave him genres we liked and the vibe we wanted to create at different points in the wedding, and he just ran with it. Our cocktail hour was upbeat and modern alternative, with a splash of 90s rock. And our reception was a party that mixed great dance songs, throwbacks to our college years, and some current guilty pleasures. Our hope for the wedding was that we'd spend most of our time on the dance floor: eat a little, dance, father-daughter moment, dance, toasts, dance, cake, dance... He kept the energy at the right level all throughout the night. We truly believe that he had a lot to do with just how much fun our guests had - and they had a blast! If your musical tastes and the atmosphere you want are anything like ours, we can wholeheartedly recommend Jon. If you plan to handpick every single song in your wedding, you're probably wasting Jon's talent. Let Jon run with it and cross off one thing that you don't have to worry about on your wedding day.
