Words can't express how amazing Chris and Aenid are!…read more I had decided pretty last minute that I HAD to have a videographer for our wedding (about a month prior!) - which lead to sleepless nights watching demo videos online and trying to find a videographer who created beautiful wedding highlights, was within our budget, and was still available for our wedding day! All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video. Everyone has cried watching it. I would not hesitate in recommending The Candi Project for any of your video/photo needs. During that time, Maria assured me she had my photos and told me there was no rush. When I was finally able to sit down and make my selections, she delayed completing the work due to personal issues, including the pandemic and an injury. I extended patience and understanding to her, just as she had to me. Now, after years of waiting, she is claiming she no longer needs to fulfill her contractual obligations because too much time has passed. We trusted her to capture one of the most important days of our lives. Some of the loved ones from our wedding have since passed away, which makes this even more heartbreaking. This experience has been incredibly upsetting and disappointing. I would strongly caution others before booking her services.

However we took multiple shots and after processing, people looked ridiculous. I understand that I'm not photogenic but they literally photoshopped my face differently in each picture. Not exaggerating I look like a new species of alien in 10-15 pictures of the entire set. The rest of my family looks fine so I doubt they care much but these photos were entirely unusable. I would rather look ugly but human instead of like I'm in a rotating sideshow mirror from a traveling circus. I don't understand how someone looked at my face and decided "anything but the original is better" every time they looked at a new photo but didn't keep the photoshop (which took months) consistent. I have since used my own warped face as memes and my own sticker set. It's comical. They insisted they would do a good job of inserting the people who were absent into the photos. Everyone has different shapes and sizes. Hire someone with actual experience. I feel like they should give us a refund with interest. Then again, the pictures are hilarious so maybe I'm paying for entertainment and not actual photos.
