I recently bought a used 2023 Honda Pilot that had highly illegal levels of tint that made it dangerous to see when driving at night. So I went with the removal of tint for every single window on the car, and they said that it would take 2-3 hours, but literally only took 1 hour. Arrived to their South Elgin location (attached to Key West Car Wash and detailing) and Custom Driven flaked. No show or no text, and I even waited a half hour just in case. The joint detailing company sharing the building space even tried to contact Eugene and Custom Driven for me and were super helpful. They couldn't get a hold of anyone either. The whole interaction/process came off as supeeer unprofessional, and makes me question whether I'd trust them to apply tints.
