Just got my new car back from Johnson tint this week. I wanted to add legal tint to the front windows in my car (for both privacy and UV protection) and make the back rows even darker than the factory tint for privacy. I chose ceramic film, after doing some research. When I had the windows tinted on my last car ceramic wasn't available. The last shop that tinted my car also didn't tint the quarter windows by my rear view mirrors--something I didn't notice until I got home and I never took the time to take it back to tint it for additional cost. It bothered me every day I drove it. Johnson tint includes those little triangle windows at no cost and he also put on clear vinyl protection under the handle of each door to protect against scratches and chips, again at no cost. I recently had the windows on my 2010 Taurus tinted by Ryan at Johnson Tinting. I have to say the entire experience was awesome. First thing to note, I was able to get the job done within a week of me first calling. This is almost impossible at bigger places like Best Buy or Riggs Brothers. The price were great (205.00) for the rear window and the four side windows. The tinting was Carbon 35 which is the darkest that can be LEGALLY done. The best thing about my experience was that the day I arrived at the location in DeKalb, we realized there had been a booking/scheduling mix up. I had the day down for Tuesday but Ryan had me on the schedule for Friday. In this case, it didn't matter who had made the error. Ryan VERY professionally took the responsibility and told me he would honor my date. Like I said, the price was great and he even completed the job 90 minutes quicker than I was expecting. The whole job took about 2 1/2 hours. The tinting job looks great and has a lifetime guarantee. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend Johnson Tinting in DeKalb for your tinting job.
