Real mechanics find out where the coolant went first, because if it is going in the oil it will destroy the engine . when i picked it up i check the oil it looked new because i recently changed it not milky from a coolant leak ,I added coolant its been about one year and it is still at the perfect level ??? mystery 1 ,, he said my battery was bad but my battery load tester said it was good and one year later it still is good ??? mystery 2. he sends me a picture of the cabin filter with more dirt and bugs on it than i ever saw on any of my filters and asked should i change it and once again i say no i do ALL MY OWN work when i pulled it out at home much to my surprise he shoved it back it with all that stuff still on it ,, all you have to do is turn it upside down and tap it and 90% of all that would fall off what kind of person does that ??? no mystery there . Then there the dents and scratches that were not there when i drove it there mystery 3. Never ever again

It was a very disappointing and sobering experience, nearly being ripped off by a sleazy used car dealer. I've included a copy of the inspection report as well. *** DO NOT RECOMMEND! ***…read more I always try to give my business to local/family owned shops. This time it was a mistake! I came to J's Auto Service for a routine state inspection and emissions check. Everything was fine other than a puncture in one of my tires and my brake lights being out. When I picked up my vehicle the odometer was up an additional 5 miles even though their invoice states there was no change in mileage. (Miles in 158,162, actual miles out 158,167 ( see attached photos)). This was odd but I didn't think anything of it since a road test is usually preformed. Fast forward to when I got the tire replaced at their shop/to get my other sticker for inspection. I picked it up after work and was a little surprised it costed $52.86 ($63.11 - $10.25 (state safety sticker)) for ONE tire. I started driving and realized my dashcam was unplugged. I contacted the shop and asked why this happened. I spoke with Christine who told me, "All we did was install your tire and check your brake lights". I go home and review the footage. I come to find out that they did indeed unplug my dash cam. Not cool. I also reviewed the footage from the day of my inspection. Prior to my vehicle ever being inspected, Jamie and Christine used my vehicle to pick up another customers car! They came back, inspected my vehicle and then conducted a road test. I paid for a state inspection/emissions test, not for them to use my car for their business. I will not be giving them my business after this and will not recommend them to anyone.
