I loved being in the back of the community - it was so quiet but so close to the pool, the bay and we were able to walk to dinner every night. The other owners are a delight. It's a really friendly community. The beds are super comfortable and the environment is very zen. There's a fireplace that you can use to heat or just use it for ambiance. You can't go wrong renting this unit. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately the pictures online are deceiving. Home is not in the greatest condition as…read morepictured. There were large and small cockroaches found in every room. Kitchen was dirty, food left over from previous renters. Chairs to the dinning room were so nasty and stained. It appeared like no one bothered to clean prior to our arrival. Coffee, creamer and sugar were to be provided yet the creamer was old and hard as a rock. TV's in a couple of bedrooms didn't work and remotes had no batteries. I actually had to buy some in order to put in and be able to program the TV. No response to e-mails sent about the condition of the home. There was a leak apparently since before we arrived that was not fixed. When we reported it, they proceeded to shut our water off and after we advised them we needed water, we were asked, through text message, to only use it to shower and shut it off again. The following day the repairman came early morning wanting to shut it off and asked us to collect water in buckets if we needed water. Over $3500 paid for 2 days to stay in this home, yet we couldn't use water, we needed to use it out of a bucket. No contact from Property Manager or owner. No apology, no offer to reduce the cost. Nothing. Definitely will not be staying here again and would advise anyone wanting to rent to look elsewhere.

Quiet and just a few miles away from downtown Rockport and Port A if you want to go out to eat, go to the beach, or enjoy the nightlife. It is truly one of a kind! This was our last trip to the coast after I was diagnosed with terminal cancer and came home to begin home hospice and prepare for my final journey so it was extra special to my wife and I. We were both born on the Texas gulf coast and really loved to go to the coast almost every summer, but we really treasured this last visit and could not have chosen a more perfect place to stay. We chose to rent a unit at the Kon Tiki resort in Fulton (check out my detailed review) I was…read moreconcerned about their no refund policy and it did come around to bite me because of a misunderstanding. I booked online what I thought was a unit at the resort, but it was actually a unit next to Highway 35 and nowhere near the water. We were planning on staying in Port Aransas but thought we could save some money by staying in Fulton. After realizing the mistake, they did put us up at the resort, but I had to pay an additional $200 on top of the $700 that I already paid. I can understand why they would have a no refund policy because they do have a responsibility to the property owners to keep these units filled. At least at a hotel you can check out anytime you like if you're not satisfied with your accommodation, but that option is not readily available through this agency.
