Unfortunately the pictures online are deceiving. Home is not in the greatest condition as…read morepictured. There were large and small cockroaches found in every room. Kitchen was dirty, food left over from previous renters. Chairs to the dinning room were so nasty and stained. It appeared like no one bothered to clean prior to our arrival. Coffee, creamer and sugar were to be provided yet the creamer was old and hard as a rock. TV's in a couple of bedrooms didn't work and remotes had no batteries. I actually had to buy some in order to put in and be able to program the TV. No response to e-mails sent about the condition of the home. There was a leak apparently since before we arrived that was not fixed. When we reported it, they proceeded to shut our water off and after we advised them we needed water, we were asked, through text message, to only use it to shower and shut it off again. The following day the repairman came early morning wanting to shut it off and asked us to collect water in buckets if we needed water. Over $3500 paid for 2 days to stay in this home, yet we couldn't use water, we needed to use it out of a bucket. No contact from Property Manager or owner. No apology, no offer to reduce the cost. Nothing. Definitely will not be staying here again and would advise anyone wanting to rent to look elsewhere.

The hot tub got a ton of use every evening, and the arcade machine was a fun bonus that kept everyone entertained -- total hit with our crew. The location is fantastic: just a short walk to the local pub for drinks and dinner, and an easy stroll to the piers if you want to get some fishing in. Being so close to Aransas Bay gave the whole trip a relaxed, coastal feel. The house had plenty of space for all of us, and everything was clean and well-maintained. We'd absolutely book this place again for our next trip to Fulton!

When we walked into the office we were greeted by wonderful staff members who gave us a great room at a great price due to it being off season. It was fabulous. Our room had a small balcony with side view of the beach, large refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. The bathtubs were amazing. Deep enough to get a full soak which was great after a long drive. It was attached to a one bedroom efficiency which also had a refrigerator and kitchen appliances. The property is RIGHT on the beach! Plenty of rooms to choose from. You can book a one bedroom condo and add two additional (attached) one bedroom efficiencies which also have bathrooms, kitchen appliances and a full refrigerator. Great for large groups. Everyone can stay together and still have privacy. They also have laundry facilities on site and in some of the condos. AND they welcome dogs! $25 per dog per night. We had boarded our dogs. Next time they are coming with us! The property is within walking distance to a restaurant too. Great HEATED pool and jacuzzi as well. Special shout out to MIRANDA who assisted us with finding the right room for a return visit. Coordinated with other staff to show us three options for our next stay in May. However in the last 2 years there have been a few things that could be improved. My biggest thing is the ice machine. The ice machine is gone! They even have the ice scoop still hanging on the wall but no ice machine. No promise of it's return, either. I love Pelican Bay Resort but please fix the ice situation. The cottages are clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you need. The staff is really efficient and accommodating. The hotel itself feels like a renovated motel, but everything is updated on the inside of the rooms so it actually feels pretty nice. The free breakfast is a continental style breakfast so don't expect any hot bacon or eggs. There also isn't a gym which would have been nice but not all hotels have gyms anyways.
