Used to be my go to Motorcycle Repair Shop, I preferred them to the Harley Shops and I liked helping the smaller shops, plus I felt I was getting a good deal, with good service. Well that changed, the Service level dropped significantly, I think mostly due to office personnel but it also was reflected in poor tire service. I had tires put on and the front tire simply would not hold air. While on long rides, I would have it checked, eventually spending $150 for people to "Clean" the rim but only have it continue leaking air. I kept trying to get Reeds to look at it but kept getting put off, time and time again, and never having phone calls returned. I finally took it to a reputable tire service who took the tire off the bike and showed me how the tire 1) had been pinched from original install at Reeds, but likely not causing the leak but 2) showed the massive amount of build up on the Rim that should have been cleaned up during the install but obviously was not. He thoroughly cleaned it, reinstalled the tire and 2 months later, not a single pound of air has been leaked. I had been a loyal customer at Reeds for at least 3 years and would still be today but poor Customer service and questionable mechanics, particularly having to do with Tires, which are pretty critical on motorcycles, will prevent me from ever coming back. There may have been mitigating circumstances but I gave Reeds multiple opportunities to make things right and absolutely no effort was made. Be careful where you take your motorcycle for service, not only did they do me wrong, but on two occasions due to not holding up their end of the deal, they cost me travel plans/rides that had been bought and paid for that I was unable to make due to their failed service agreements. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. these bastards decided it was okay to steal a helmet on my bike after a Repo. The bike I bought from this place was clapped out. motor knocked after about 3 rides. oil never changed. carb was never cleaned. heads were leaking oil. all they did was clean it up so there was nothing to show for it when I picked it up. If you want better service find a different place but stay the hell away from here. these dudes are a joke. I wasn't about to pay what it would cost to fix that bike because it well worth more than what the bike was. PLEASE FIND A DIFFERENT PLACE TO BUY YOUR BIKE!!! read more

My husband patrick wrote his review and I'm now adding more. After having the paper weight of a bike finally picked up after 2 months of it taking up space in our garage! We spent money trying to figure out what was wrong with it, as it wouldn't start. We lost over $1000 in storage fees as we couldn't get any of our furniture delivered because the bike hadn't been picked up. We have been told by Reeds we would get our deposit back and yet we never get a call back and the owner happens to always not be there even if we call 10 times in a day. It's sad they run a business like this! If they make it right, I'll fix my review, but until then, I'll make sure no one uses this place! I was going through Craiglist and notice a 2003 Electra Glide Classic be offered by Reed's Motorcycles. Really wasn't showing to be in the best of shape. Noticed the gauge panel backing had deteriorated and cracked. No mileage was being offered in the add. They were acking $10,500.00... Looked it up on KBB and it showed retail listing at $7125.00 and trade in at $5,200.00... Sounds like a scam dosen't it??? Warm regards, Harley Head!!! read more

Super disappointed in Reed's! After working a deal with Reeds, I took a bus from San Antonio to Dallas. After getting to reeds it was a super quick get me out process, which should have been my first red flag. I drove the bike all the way back to San Antonio, head lights went out! Thankfully it was still light out. Ride was smooth, get home excited about my purchase. Next day the bike won't start! Get the battery checked, it had a dead cell and wouldn't take a charge. Fixed that, still won't start. Found the wiring in the headlights was all fried! So one ride, bike won't start and lights are all out. Called reeds multiple times about issue with bike. I was told constantly I would get a call back, nothing. I would call, my wife called, every time Mr Reed was either in a meeting or not there. Again told over and over again I would get a call back, nothing! I paid $4000 over what this bike was worth and now it's a giant paper weight the day after I bought it! They keep telling me to bring the bike back, it doesn't run! So not only did they expect me to pay for all the things that were wrong with the bike, now I have to get a trailer and take it all the way back for their mess up! I wanted to make new deal for a different bike, just swap, no calls back! Said I would just give the bike back if they would pick it up, and they can keep the down payment, no calls back? At one point they actually blocked our numbers from calling! Reeds will sell you a 1/2 inspected bike and then leave you to deal with it! As a veteran who loves to ride, I will NEVER EVER use Reeds or tell any of my friends and family about them! I was taken advantage of! read more

Purchased a sportster here and asked for new handlebar bushings to be installed. They used Bikers Choice bushings instead of the Arlen Ness ones i asked for and they didn't tighten the handlebar clamp properly ( handlebars dropped on me during my ride home from their shop while cruising on 183 at 70 mph ) Buyer beware read more

Setting aside the terrible customer service and over priced parts they did shotty work on my bike that I am still trying to fix four years later. They kept my old parts with out asking, made me pay for things that I didnt need and were not even right for my bike, and did extremely sub par work. They didnt sadder any of the wire, only crimped, and this has led to a number of electrical problems. The carb they put on was for the wrong bike and wasnt jetted properly. The manager was rude, impersonal, and overall shady and underhanded. Do Not go here for anything unless you want to pay to much for work that you will have to spend hundreds of dollars redoing and fixing. read more

I've been meaning to write an update to this. Within a couple days of my previous review they contacted me and explained there had been a family emergency which led to the problems. While I still didn't get to use them, I can respect that they made the effort to explain it so they got an extra star. read more

Reeds is a good bike shop..but a few yrs back got a bike..still have the bike running very strong.but when comes down to properly fixing your shit....your better off doing it you're self.oh an don't trust them because you mite ask for a repair an it'll be fucked up. I happen to be in the area of his business and stopped by at first. Got online and was looking at his motorcycles and talk to his salesman (Ryan)I think was his name. Emailed every thing that they ask for as far as paperwork and verification to get approved. I had a 2004 honda v_t_x 1300 retro with 19,000 miles on it as a trade in. The salesman told me that everything looked fine so I loaded up my motorcycle on a trailer drove an hour and a half almost 2 hours to his lot. By the way I live in southern Oklahoma. Got down there let him (Josh)(Owner) look at my motorcycle he said he liked it and it was very nice and then when they started looking at my paperwork again out of the blue said I'm sorry I cannot help you because you live in Oklahoma and rent your house and do not own it. Josh was very rude talking to me I explained to him that I had previously owned my house and had moved to a different area to be closer to my wife's family because her father was very sick and we could only find a rent house at the time we moved. Lived in this rent house a year and 9 months by this time. Had plenty of good paperwork as far as renting history which by the way my landlord is an attorney and even wrote a letter with his letterhead on it. But he decided I was not good enough for some reason to buy 1 of his motorcycles so I wasted a whole day borrowing a trailer from a friend and about 60 dollars in gas back and forth for nothing. I had already been told on the phone that everything looks good and come on down. I think that they are a bunch of scam artists and crooks. I also think that they profile who they want to let buy a motorcycle and who they don't. It has nothing to do with if you are qualified or not because I had plenty of good qualifications. I would never buy one single thing from them if it was the cheapest motorcycle on the planet. read more

Well went had work done,on my Honda Goldwing in September,fork seals ,got bike back after 4 weeks ,thay baciscally,f$$k over my wing,diesel found in the fuel tank ,throttle body broken,oil over fill ,and electrical issues ,this cost me over $1200 to sort out myself and DFW Honda ,thanks Reeds for work ,over 6 mouths my motorcycle been out action and let be know people will hear about this ,folks thinking dealing with this place don't,ride on ,because I don't want it to happen to you !!!! read more
