I called Mill Bay Marine Monday morning and they said if I could be there at 2PM Aaron would take a quick look at our boat to see what the issue was. Aaron (shop manager) was awesome. Supper nice and helpful. Boat could not be completely repaired in time for our vacation due to lack of part availability. However, Aaron was able to provide a temporary solution that was safe and reliable that same day. His goal was to get us a working boat for our vacation. And he did that. In fact, Aaron and Frazier stayed about 90 mins (maybe more) after closing time to get us operational. They were slammed with work but were still so nice, genuine, and honest... and staying late to help ensure we had our boat during our vacation was over the top. Thank you Aaron and Frazier!! Yesterday we experienced some trouble with our truck as we started to drive through Pateros. We…read morepulled into the Chevron where our truck decided it no longer wanted to start. Time? 5:05 PM We decided to call the shop anyhow hoping they were maybe open later. They weren't but Bill answered anyhow. After talking with us briefly he drove to the station where we were stuck (fortunately, it was just around the corner!) and after trying to start the truck he offered to tow the truck and the trailer we were towing to the shop. Turned out to be a fairly easy fix; radiator hose had "aged out" and sprung a leak which led to the engine overheating and not wanting to start. Bill got the hose replaced very quickly and replaced our lost fluids, all the while monitoring our block temperature to ensure it was coming down. Anyway even though it was after 6 PM and they were closed for the evening, when I called they picked up. I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was so cheerful and customer service oriented, it really lifted my spirits. After I explained my situation he recommended a better solution than towing. He quickly confirmed with another individual who had a snow plow truck. I didn't want to deal with it that evening and it was dark by then, so he showed up as promised the next morning to scrape the roadway and then pull my car out of the pile of snow. The price was reasonable and since the whole hour wasn't up yet he continued to plow. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks Trevor! This was one of those times when it was not just about the work being performed but literally rescuing a customer. I really am so grateful.
