This Florist RUINED our Uncle funeral. Order flowers to the services in Eugene, Oregon nor did they deliver or even contact us that they CANCELLED the order. The had a day notice we did write special instructions before 10:00am to be delivered before the services. The Funeral home had recommend this Reed & Cross Floral in Eugene Oregon. I wished I had the time to read the awful reviews I am seeing now on their site. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. Unprofessional and no customer contact to update if they had to cancel or not. The service is really bad, unsatisfied. Before ordering, I called and talked on phone...They promised greatly. And then, the day of delivery, the employee took a picture and sent it to me. I was shocked because the sample to order is absolutely different from the flowers delivered, from the size to the color of flowers, as well as the freshness. I called its manager, many times and never got his feedback. Fortunately, I found his email address, and sent him two photos, one from their advertisement, another from the real flowers delivered. If the arrangement that was ordered wasn't possible, don't take the order, period. But sending out something that was thrown together with flowers, that were not even in the ordered arrangement, was uncalled for. An initial heads up phone call, to discuss alternative options, would have been a good place to start. Instead you took it upon yourself to send out a hideous arrangement. This was for my Mother on Mother's Day and delivered on a very difficult day for her. It was supposed to raise her spirits not only for Mother's Day but also for a heart wrenching family situation that she was going through. Even she questioned the arrangement's design. On their website they stated order within 5 hours and you will get next day delivery. So called to make sure that was the case and they said no, they are all booked out and it would get delivered the day after. So I made the purchase after I got off the call. For a premium set of flowers ($95) and paid a ludicrous $40 delivery fee. So found out the flowers didn't get delivered. I called them up and they said it would be delivered the following day. Flowers got delivered and I thought it was a joke. This was nothing like the picture, different flowers and not at all premium. I would have gotten better flowers from Dairy Mart for $5. I would not recommend using this florist if you need flowers delivered in Eugene Oregon. When you go on their website it sends you to a site called Lovely. I ordered flowers on a Monday to be delivered on Tuesday to a funeral home and needed them there by 10:00 am. I got an email that order was received and would receive confirmation, once delivered. I never got a confirmation that the order was delivered, so I started calling first thing on Tuesday. Made 2 calls and finally sent an email. As of Wednesday morning, day after funeral, still no call. I called again on Wednesday and left my third message and finally got an email response that my order was cancelled because it could not be delivered at the time I requested. You think they could let me know this on Monday, even Tuesday, the actual day of funeral, nope, not a word! Do you know how embarrassing it is to think that my family did not think I cared enough to send flowers to my Uncle's funeral. This company is completely unprofessional. I would stay clear of them!! One star for the pretty arrangement and no stars for size. This was sadly embarrassing and understated for $50. I wanted to use a local florist, next time I'll just do my own. Her mom just passed and this was what I got? Plus when I called to ask if she read my email about colors she replied "no, I'm glad you called I rarely read my emails and I'm doing it right now". My Aunt passed away and the service was Jan 25. I live in California and could not attend, so I contact this florist and ordered the Love's Twilight Sympathy, purple and lavender arrangement. It was to be 42x42. I ordered it a week before the service, and specially told them the arrangement must be delivered by 12. My cousin took a picture of the arrangement, which did not look like what I ordered, nor the colors. It appeared much smaller. That same day my Aunt's Granddaughter sent me a message via Facebook, which I never used. Yesterday, Feb 7, I noticed this feature and saw her message. They delivered the arrangement 1 1/2 hrs AFTER the service and 2 minutes before they started breaking everything down. The camcorder was still going and they saw somebody just snuck into the sanctuary in a hoodie and place them and run out. This experience was awful and upsetting. The once highly esteemed Reed & Cross now exists in a dark little corner inside a plant nursery. I approached the counter and asked the woman if I could order a bouquet for delivery. She rudely said "Only in Eugene." (So be aware they do not deliver outside city limits.) I told her the location was in Eugene and I told her a little about why I was sending them - I had worked with someone on buying a new truck and over the years he'd really gone the extra mile for my family. It's a long story that I didn't feel I should have to explain in detail. I fully expected a smile and some masculine bouquet/plant suggestions. Instead she said "Are you sure?" and I said "Yes, why???" and she said "I would think a card would be enough. I mean I'll do it." I was so stunned that she would judge my decision to send flowers. I said "You know what? Never mind." and walked out. Suffice it to say they lost another customer. There are so many great florists in this area that are happy to work with you, reliable with delivery, go over and beyond in the quality of their bouquets, and provide excellent customer service. I ordered flowers and chocolates for my wife this Valentine's day and I feel the need to express my opinion that if anyone wants to give there significant other a special reminder of how much they mean to them then I recommend that you don't do buisbusi with this place. I had a heart felt note that was supposed to be atachata to the arrangements and after being told that it was too long for one of there small cards and would have to be printed on multiple cards they didn't even do it! It's frustrating when you have to think for other people that are supposed to know what they're doing but instead act like youryo request is sooo out of the ordinary that it "might not even be possible". Recently ordered a few floral arrangements from Reed&Cross for my Father's funeral. Both large and small. There was a communication error, and the arrangement I ordered specifically to be placed in front of the alter was although beautiful was not what I had ordered, in fact could not be placed in that location. So I placed a call to Reed&Cross, 45 minutes before funeral was to start, and explained the situation. After some talking they said they would put something together for me, I did apply some pressure and they came thru for us in time for funeral to start. I've never been inside this shop but I have ordered multiple times online. I'm so glad I found them and the biggest thing is they offer free local delivery. Since I live in LA I was paying other floral delivery charges anywhere from $15.99-$29.99 which is ridiculous if I'm already paying $70+ for a bouquet. No real concept of the art of flower arrangement. "Let's just stick all these roses of the same length into a to-tall vase Add a bit of greenery" the vase was choking the rose blossoms. I ordered an arrangement for my Aunt's funeral. When I arrived at the funeral the arrangement wasn't there. It was to be delivered by 10:30 am and the funeral was at 1:30. I called and asked where it was and they said they didn't know it was for a funeral even though the address was to a FUNERAL home! They also said they don't deliver by designated times even though it was asked on their website what time it needed to be delivered! So who doesn't deliver flowers at a time requested!!! They delivered it after the service had started and looked nothing like what I ordered. The flowers were nice but the style was different. I upgraded the arrangement and for $100 it was very tiny! The only reason I gave them two stars is because they called afterwards and apologized for the late delivery and are giving me a discount. Fine. If I could give Pam 10 stars I would. 5 is not enough for this amazing woman. I had ordered an arrangement to be delivered to the bf's mom at work and learned the day the flowers were supposed to be delivered that she hates lilies! I placed a quick call to Pam and changed the order. Pam happily and graciously obliged. However, upon delivery, I discovered the flowers were not all white, like I had requested (somewhere along the line, my request had probably gotten lost in translation between Pam, me and some other lady). I called Pam again and she was so apologetic. She offered to put together another arrangement and have them delivered tomorrow, the day after the birthday. I said ok, not wanting to put Pam through any more trouble even though I, of course, would want them to be delivered on the day of! Pam calls me back a few minutes later and asks if I would like the flowers to be delivered day of to which I, of course, said HELL TO THE YEAH! Pam hand delivered the new arrangement within the hour and my bf's mom was beyond surprised to have gotten 2 deliveries of flowers from us on her birthday!! Pam - you are an angel on earth. Our son ordered a flower arrangement for my birthday to be delivered on June 15, 16 He placed the order on June 13. I received no flowers on my special day and not know that he had ordered flowers, was quite upset that he "forgot" his mom's birthday. He called the morning and asked how I liked the flowers and balloon which of course I never received. They delivered later today 6/18/16, 3 days after my birthday and the delivery lady said that they had just received the order yesterday. My son sent me the order confirmation dated June 13, so she lied. I tried calling the shop, no answer and no answering machine. A great company! I work in a warehouse in West Eugene at a family business and ordered for same day delivery for my mom. It was delivered in about an hour with no extra fees for delivery. They hand wrote a card that I typed out for her and the flowers are BEAUTIFUL. They are so fresh and smell wonderful!! It was a great surprise for my mom. I ordered the standard and it is still a big pot of flowers. Some companies show the biggest vase of flowers for the picture and if you order anything smaller, it's wimpy. Not Reed & Cross! I ordered a bouquet from their website for a memorial service. They did deliver the flowers on time, however they were not what I ordered. I order a specific bouquet because it was the flower arrangement and color I wanted. I emailed Reed & Cross with a picture of what they delivered telling them of my disappointment and asking why the flowers were not what I ordered. After 2 weeks they have not bothered to respond. When a recent order wasn't delivered I contacted Pam and after feeling sick about this, quickly put together a new arrangement and delivered them herself! Reed and Cross is a disappointment. My daughter ordered flowers for my birthday which fell on Mother's Day this year. She received a phone call asking if it would be ok for the flowers to be delivered the day before Mother's Day. She said that she really wanted them delivered on Mother's Day because it was also for my birthday. The flowers were delivered the day before. The arrangement was left on my front porch. I happened to find it. I don't know how long it sat there. I have added water to the arrangement every day and it is now Friday. The majority of the flowers in the arrangement are wilted and browning. I'm so disappointed in both the delivery issues and the fast wilting. I've gotten cut flowers out of the past their prime bin at Freddie's that have lasted longer than these and been a fraction of the cost. I can't recommend Reed and Cross Floral for these reasons. My mother whom lives 2k miles away was having a very hard day at work. I could not be there to cheer her up so I thought to get her some flowers. I searched for over an hour with the online companies to find they would overcharge and jack up prices for same day delivery. Then I came across Reed and Cross in Eugene. The woman on the phone heard my story and and was so kind!! She told me that she did not have her mother any more, and that she would put something special together for a great price for my mother and delivery it before her lunch hour. This act of kindness brought me to tears.I am ever greatful for the kindness that was shown with this company. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
