These guys did really good work on my first car I brought up there but it was definitely expensive…read more The reason I'm giving this a one star review is due to the work they did on the other car I brought up there. They were nice to me over the phone for at least a little bit until I began being complicated. The reason I was being complicated was due to the overpricing to change out ignition coils that I could do myself and did do after, it was also due to waiting days to get any news about what was going on with the car, and the amount they charged us to replace the alternator (we brought one in) and to flush the coolant was around $760. This price is ridiculously high for an alternator that is on the top of the engine bay. Prices here are really high specifically the labor, arguably not competitive. While it was on me for taking this car to somewhere I know is more expensive this was the only mechanic shop I really went to so I did not feel comfortable sending my mom to another mechanic shop while I was off at school. I will say Stacy (I believe is her name) is really nice and was really sweet to me. While this work was done sometime around August of last year I really do not understand how they would not inform us that the ignition coil connectors on the front side of the engine were so broken they would not stay in. I did repeatedly informed them that I believe those are the ones that needed replace and I was under the impression that those were the ones they would be replacing. Additionally the wires in the connector for the cam position sensor was very lose inside the connector to the point one bump knocked it lose and showed what is a knotted wires that was shoved in the connector. While I don't blame them completely for this I believe this should have been found while replacing the connector in the back of the engine bay. We eventually had to call out another mechanic to come and redue the work that they had done and honestly Andy's garage's work felt rushed and did not look anywhere close to what we paid even though they had the car for quite some time. Additionally the mechanic was 1/3 of the price as here and was upfront about everything and honestly looked like his work was worth the $1500 I paid here. Finally, while they have been really nice to me, they were rude to my brother who brought the van up there to get fixed and did not listen to my mom about anything that she said was a concern about the vehicle. I definitely will not be coming back.

Fast forward and I picked up screw in my tire on a trip to ATL. Too late to do anything about it over there I had to put my spare on and limp back home. The next day I arrived before they opened and they got me right in and taken care of, all at a great price $15. The front desk staff were friendly with all that came in, and it was apparent that they knew several of the people that came in. Same quality service regardless of if they knew you or it was your first time there. Waiting area is nice and sizeable enough that several people can wait without crowding each other. All in all they provide a quality product/service at a reasonable price. I would recommend them.

The store sold and installed new tires on my vehicle without inspecting the alignment or advising…read moreme that an alignment was necessary. Furthermore, the service team failed to note the age discrepancy of the other tires already on the vehicle, and neglected to inform me of the shop's free rotation policy, which is critical for proper tire maintenance. As a direct result of these omissions, the newly installed tires have experienced premature, uneven wear and require complete replacement after only 7,000 miles. When I brought this issue to the shop's attention, the only resolution offered was a $30 discount on a new set of tires. This token gesture does not adequately address the premature failure of the product caused by the shop's failure to provide standard professional advisement at the time of installation.

This review is 2 years long overdue. Back in June 2024 looking for a low mileage ford flex ,they…read morewere discontinued in 2019. So finding nothing local in 100 miles , opening the cargurus up to nationwide ,I found one at Ronnie Watkins Ford. I had bought a 2012, traded that for a 2016 and in 2024 wanted to get another newer model. Watkins had a red one with the 19 inch rims( always wanted the bigger wheels) I called and reached Mike, a salesperson. I explained that in New England all the 5 year old Felix's had 70-80-90 thousand miles and there prices were around 29 to 32,000. I use these cars instead of ford f150 trucks for work. Ok, enough of the I'm sold. I have a bunch of airline miles and flew from Manchester NH to Birmingham ,rented a car, drove an hour to the dealership and test drove the car. Checked all the factory hologram seals on the car to make sure no accidents or non dealer parts. Again this is my third flex.Their price was 8000.oo less then any flex in New England! So now I am sold and have to arrange to get this car up the New Hampshire. I gave a deposit signed paperwork, and bought an extended warranty . called an independent car transport and now fly back up to NH home in one day. Got in at midnight. i overnighted a bank check and a NH temp license/registration . Now I have to wait and hope all goes well. There are 10 things that can go wrong. The independent transport company is picking up the car on a Saturday . Mike the salesman is off and Patric the manager called me and said he took phone pictures of the car so there's a record of no damage as the transport picked it up. THIS KIND OF SERVICE JUST IS NOT HEARD IN NEW ENGLAND !! The transport driver brought the car up and we received it late Monday afternoon in perfect condition. he forgot the second key fob. I called Mike and they over-nighted the fob to me 2 days later. Again this is never the service here in New England..usually they just tell you to buy another! The transport cost 1100 bucks, the extended warranty was 2000 and add in the price i paid,I saved over 5000 bucks and the dealership was a pleasure to buy from. If I could get anywhere near 5 grand off a price in New England, the dealerships usually give you pisspoor service, (like idiots are are incharge. )many of the tactics here ; The check get cashed but the car isn't ready for pickup, or some other title problem ...usually turn into a stressful experience. Am in my 70s and after buying over 25 vehicles for myself, family and my business, Ronnie Watkins Ford gave me the best experience , eleven hundred miles from home.

We…read morehad an appointment at 10 am to be seen, arrived prior to the appointment time and sat and waited, an hour past and I ask about the time and there was a guy said that they were behind, I told him that I would be back, I left the truck and went on with my day. Around 2:30-3pm I called and they said that they just got it back to look at it and they told me what needed to be done to fix the problem that the truck was having, I gave consent to move forward with the repairs. Time went on it was after 5pm and I had not heard from them, I called and they said they were putting everting back together it would be ready shortly. But while telling me that he said that one of the brake lines wasn't working properly. So instead of saying "hey let me keep it overnight and get the break line fixed" they put everything back together and let us pay and drive off. Got down the road and the truck was doing the same thing it was doing before. So the following morning we called back down there and they said bring it back and they would make it right. Took it back down there and left it and later that day they called and told me that it was ready and it would be $180ish dollars, I said excuse me? He told me the cost again, I said sir I just paid you almost $900 yesterday and you think I'm going to pay additional money today because you or your techs didn't fix the truck correctly? You have me mistaken, I'm not paying any additional. Keep in mind the tech told me the day before that they were "throwing" it back together, while also telling me there was an issue with the brake line. So they knew it was going to be an issue and just wanted to get paid and send me on my way, which put my LIFE in jeopardy. What if the brakes completely failed & I had an accident and got killed or killed someone else? Jim's tire doesn't care about you as a person/customer. They are only looking for the money. The "manager" called me and told me that he would take the labor off the bill but I still needed to pay for the parts that they used. Then he said he was going to erase the whole invoice and I could go pick up the truck. He knew what they had done and he knew it wasn't right, he didn't want any issue. I told him I was going to let everyone I knew know how they done us and that we would never use them for service again. I would suggest that you do the same, avoid them at all cost.
