Since I live in Portland where businesses tend to be sharky, I can't say how much I appreciate Platt's down-to-earth approach. Mike was the latest person to go out of his way for me there. But the team members have all been awesome.

She got excited. We looked up some on carguru and Platt came up in our search. Their place was few miles down the road so we went down thinking we'd be turned away. Peter was more than happy to accommodate. He let us test drive a couple different models including a Bolt. It really opened our eyes to these vehicles. He talked with us after the test drives and was happy to answer questions, give advice and info on all types of EV's (this was after close mind you). We weren't quite ready to purchase a car yet so we left. Peter's non-pushy attitude and kindness stuck with us. About two months later we decided to pull the trigger. I couldn't think of any other place to look for an EV. We had a list of options we wanted and Peter accommodated us and pulled a bunch of cars from their list. We test drove a couple AWD Nissan Aryia Engage+ e-4orce and really liked them. We went ahead and purchased one. It was a lease return with 15k miles. The EV was in great condition and the price was right. They were generous with our trade in and all the paperwork was very swift. I think we were out of there in under 2 hours. We highly recommend Platt Auto if interested in an used EV. You wont be sorry. They have a lot of different models to choose from.

I have 2015 GMC Yukon Denali. Somehow my 9yr old placed the vehicle in "valet mode"! Obviously…read morepreparing for his future as a Treasure Hunter! However, I am not and never will be good at undoing codes or locks. First of all I did not know my car had a "valet mode" probably because I'm too cheap to use that service when available! Side note- when your vehicle is in valet mode you can only operate the vehicle up to 30mph and you have no power steering Yes, it was humbling to drive down I-205 in the slow lane being flipped off and passed in annoyance! This however Does remind me to be more patient with slow drivers! They may be suffering the same sentence handed down from their child! Ironically we were taking the vehicle to be detailed. I'm sure the owner thought we did not trust him or that I worked for the CIA and had an incredible amount of classified data on my media console.JK we were hurried and after a mini attempt to master "The unlocking of valet mode" I surrendered defeat and vowed to unlock it after it was detailed. The following day I picked up my car. I pulled out my owners manual to research valet mode. After an exhaustive futile search I admitted my powerlessness and called the dealer. They told me to call the general GMC customer support. As I am making calls I'm simultaneously trying to google my way into a code breaking revelation! After 4 department transfers Finally GMC suggested I call on star (no I don't have "on star" activated to answer your ?) but they assured me they could help as they oversee that portion of the vehicle. So I call "on star" and I am trying to hit the right number to get me to a human so I can have a 2-way conversation! Yet, all options seem to lead to a 1sided conversation and me being the only breathing option. Finally I am sent to a customer service agent and I'm like 8th caller in line! So I wait and keep googling and reading trying find the answer. Suddenly The hold music ceases and I began to hear an open line (yeah! ) and then click! I'm hung up on! Ughs! So I repeat this process. Finally I get to an incredibly helpful empathetic rep who tried earnestly to find an answer for me. Until finally I am the one saying "it's all ok I'll try a dealer again! I'm sorry you are are so sorry we don't have an answer!" At this point I'm beginning to realize their is obvious reasons they don't just give you this valet code! Dah! So I see most people had to take it to a dealer, wait for an appt and were charged around $200!! So I call Michael back at Auto Buick GMC dealership in Gladstone. First he says You are still working on that???? Yes it had been hours of my Saturday! He said bring the vehicle by now and I'll have one of my guys take a look at it. So I do and Michael literally gets me into and out of service in like 10min no charge! That service department is amazing! Thank you Michael and the service department, sincerely! You were my hero's on Saturday!

Title: Dishonest Service Department - Misled About Recall Reimbursement. Acadia …read more DO NOT trust the service department at this dealership. My experience with their service manager has been defined by broken promises and outright dishonesty regarding a safety recall. After paying out of pocket for a recognized manufacturer recall repair, I was assured by the service manager that the reimbursement paperwork was being handled and processed. Months later, GMC still hasn't received anything from this location, and the manager lied about actually submitting it. Instead of taking care of customer safety and honoring official recall protocols, this dealership takes your money and ignores follow-ups once you walk out the door. Save yourself the stress and deal with a location that operates with basic integrity. I will be escalating this directly to GM Corporate Customer Care.

This was (and still is) an absurd customer experience mess. How did we get here?…read more -- August 3: went in, looked at, test drove, and bought car (or so I thought) August 7: received a call and was told that they didn't sell me the car I was lead to believe I bought, that a mistake had been made, and it needed to be swapped out for the car they actually sold me on paper. While I understand errors happen, swapping the vehicle post-sale feels like an oversimplification of a significant transactional issue. It's no longer the vehicle I looked at previously. I accepted the change assuming the same trim/features. After swapping, some digital features immediately don't work on the replacement car (I get obscure "carID not found" account errors doing things that worked on the first car). I call the dealership back and am told it needs to wait until Monday. The message from them includes: "I'll take care of things on Hyundai side though either way". August 10 (Monday): The dealership now says they can't resolve the technical issue, effectively leaving me with a problem they created. Bluelink (Hyundai's connected car support) opened a case and promised a callback within 7 days. August 14: Asked dealership what an escalation path at Bluelink would look like and did not receive an answer. August 17: (one week after callback promise) called Bluelink for an update, and they said I would receive a call "tomorrow". August 18: called Bluelink again, they said "engineering is closed, you will have to try again tomorrow". I also placed a call to Nabil (sales manager) at the dealership expressing significant frustration at their error and how its follow-up problems have (not) been handled, and that customer satisfaction on this transaction was now very low. He said he was "going above and beyond for me", which turned out to mean he sent an email. At this point I was frustrated enough that I also asked if there was anything he could do to compensate me for the time and irritation of being saddled with the fallout of their mistake and was firmly refused. August 19: Bluelink, upon calling first thing in the morning as recommended by them yesterday: "We're very sorry you didn't get a call back from us. I've added a note to the case that you're still expecting a call and haven't gotten one yet." Later, I get an email (unprompted) that my car has been removed from my Hyundai account, and about half an hour after that, a call from Nabil at the dealership telling me that he has good news(!) and my account is fixed. In reality, the car is no longer attached to my account at all and even fewer features work now than worked yesterday. A couple hours later, the car is reattached to my account, and in the same broken state as before - still getting "carID not found" errors. I get another call from the dealership in which they try to tell me again that I need to work this through corporate Hyundai/Bluelink myself. I made clear that this was unacceptable and the dealership needs to see the resolution of problems it creates to the end. -- The situation remains unresolved ~2.5 weeks after purchase. The people I dealt with were nice on the day of the sale and I got "a" car for roughly the price I wanted. Not all features work, and the dealership's position is that fixing their mistake is my job. Bluelink support noted at one point that proper operation of these features should normally have been demonstrated to me while I was at the dealership (which would have saved a lot of trouble if this had been caught then). The dealership is always apologetic in communications but staunchly refuses to take any real action or resolution responsibility despite how much of my own time continues to be wasted trying to correct their mistakes. Additional point of note: This dealership adds a ceramic coating which I did not see in the cost calculations online. I was told the fee was a *required* add-on. It increased my out-the-door cost several hundred dollars beyond what I expected, so you should expect this as well.
