Employees are stealing by making deals that aren't part of Reebok's sales. My husband bought three pairs of sneakers last week--two for our daughters and one for me. Unfortunately, mine did not fit. I went in to exchange them today, and the young kid at the front said I would have to pay the price difference since the sneakers I wanted were more expensive. Fair enough. The original price of the sneakers my husband bought was $130, but the kids at the front gave him a "deal" for buying two other pairs, so he ended up paying only $35. I know, crazy. The deal was buy two pairs and get the third one for $35 (employee deal, lol). The new pair I wanted to exchange was $140 but had a 25% discount, making them $70. He said I had to pay $70 to exchange them, meaning his weird employee deal was off. On top of that, when I looked confused, he said, "Oh, you can give me $40," as if he could just determine the price. I tried to explain that even if the $140 pair didn't have the 25% off, I would still be paying a small amount over. Nope, he kept arguing with me and didn't give me any options. At Adidas, there were no staff in the shoe section, they were hanging out socializing at the front. At Nike, the guy in the shoe section was scrolling on his phone. So it was amazing to meet Eric at Reebok, who was tidying the store, helping another customer with a complicated refund and at the same time was able to handle a third task of providing a comprehensive overview of available tennis shoes and pros and cons. LOVE this store. I really love these outlets but this store is my favorite. Personally I don't wear Reebok sneakers but the clothes are awesome. The prices are amazing!! I would like to compliment & thank Jarrett, the store manager of Reebok at Assembly Row, for providing excellent service, being very friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable of the product. Immediately upon walking in he greeted me and offered his assistance. After I browsed for a bit, I ran into him again and he asked how my shopping was going & if I needed help finding anything. I chatted with him about some products I was interested in and he provided me with very knowledgeable responses as well as his own experiences with the product. He also was very polite when he had to step away and help other customers that came to ask questions. Jarrett was the cashier when I checked out and he continued to talk with me about Reebok products as well as invited me to return to the store in the future and come find him if I had anymore questions. I specifically made my purchases that day because of Jarrett's help and recommendations. He ran the store extremely well, was very knowledgeable of the product, his employees were also readily available & helpful, and he made my shopping experience much more enjoyable. Terrible experience! Very disrespectful staff. There were 3 4 customers shopping but no one was really attending them. One of the guys who work there was just passing comments and laughing at customers. When confronted was very unpleasant and rude. During billing he even purposely rejected credit card and made my friend swipe again!! Very immature behavior. Never going back to this store again. read more

I just came back from this store and I felt like I was in a twilight zone in the best possible way! I approached the counter to pay for a pair of Reebok Crossfit shoes and the cashier informed me that they had a deal of second pair of any shoes in the store 60% off! I decided not to get a second pair, but when I handed him my credit card he said, how about I give a 30% discount? He applied the discount right there. Needles to say I walked out of there very satisfied! Maybe it is me that I need to go shopping more often, but I am not used to so many discounts and deals without having to wait for rebates or signing for dubious credits cards. I need all black shoes for work. I have the Reebok Zig Energy ref shoes. Patent leather all black. Perfect! They don't sell them anymore. What? Now I could go through some affiliates and get them for a nice chunk of change but no thanks. I noticed a similar Zig sneaker on the feet of a colleague of mine at a recent game we worked together. Said go to Assembly Row Reebok. $49. I'm so there! Head over the very next day. These are mens sneakers so I know I'm taking a chance being a woman with a size 8/8.5 shoe. My Zig Energy shoes were a mens size 7.5 so I think they run a little small. I find the Zig Lites but the smallest size they have is a mens size 8. GRRR! I try them on and you know what? They kinda feel good. I've been in need of more toe room from my original Zigs even with the size upgrade. They are running a sale buy one get 2nd for 19.99. WIN! No more size 8's. What WHAT? Cmon now. So I go to the counter and let them know I really wanted to purchase two pairs for the sale but they didn't have another size 8. Basically I was told too bad. The first day on the job associate who was great helping me gave me a $10 off coupon that I was "allowed" to use. Thanks Buddy. Granted I needed the shoes but I couldn't take part in the sale because they didn't have more size 8's. Not my fault. Merry Christmas! read more
