I hate to give the Reds Team Shop 3 stars. The shop is large. They have a wide selection on Reds merchandise. There are items here I have not been able to find online or anywhere else. Particularly little girls or Rosie items. I have noticed that these are the hardest items to find. If you are looking for a gift for the Reds fan who has everything this would be the place to look. Employees are friendly, even to people wearing clothing for the opposing team. A few months ago, it was one of the employees in here that told us about getting a certificate inside the park in honor of our first Reds game. I really like the shop. The Reds Team Shop would be 4 even 5 stars if their prices weren't so high. I know licensed sporting apparel is expensive, but many items seems exorbitantly so. I saw the same visor I was wearing (same tags and all,) for $28.00. I purchased mine from another establishment for $18.00. The one I purchased was not on sale at the other place either. Every time we go to a game I see something I haven't seen anywhere else, and want to get it. When I look at the price, it is like a bucket of ice water is dumped on my head, and I put the item back. I have learned to tell the kids ahead of time that we are only looking, not buying. I consider this the free Reds Museum. We may look at lots of neat stuff, but it stays here. Maybe if I ever win a lottery jackpot I'll go on a shopping spree here.

Love it here. Could spend hours here. Love the mix between old and new players. Got some neat Pete Rose for Pete Rose night.

Learn all about it with this short video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2W2b1WBmm4 Each Black N Bluegrass event is a double header, starting with an hour-long bout featuring their B-Team, The Shiners. Following intermission is an hour-long main bout with the A-Team, The Blackouts. The league battles other roller derby teams regionally and has garnered a large following since their origin in 2006. As a season pass holder, I've been an avid fan of Black-N-Bluegrass since the very beginning. It has been a pleasure to see this team evolve and improve. My favorite night was when they beat an opponent with a 300-point lead. Now that's action packed roller derby! My favorite seat is floor side in the Suicide Seating. Being right up against the out-of-bounds line puts you directly in the action, and may cause a Rollergirl to end up in your lap sometime during the evening. My favorite derby girls are Shaken-n-Stirred, Scary Garcia, Rosie The Riv-Hit-Her, Bertha Knuckles, TANK, and Skinnie Minnie (who is neither skinny or mini.) All of the ladies are fabulous with tactics unique to each player. After the game, fans are welcome to get autographs and pictures with the team, as well as high-fiving the Rollergirls on their introductory and victory laps. They may bring a brutal game, but Black-N-Bluegrass genuinely adore their fans. Game Duration: 4 hours Tickets: $10-$13 Free parking Roller Derby season is from April - September in Florence, Kentucky.

Great day for football…read more... I attended the 2025 NFL Season of the Chicago Bears at Cincinnati Bengals. This only happens about once every 7 or 8 years and I wasn't going to miss it. The day.... Tickets were purchased using an aftermarket ticket app. Bought about 3 hours before kick-off and got a great deal on the seats. Parking. I always find a parking lot in the city. Typically only a couple of blocks walk from the stadium, there is plenty of parking that you can walk to and avoid some of the traffic when you're leaving. I wasn't tailgating at all, so that wasn't an issue. But, walking to the stadium, I did notice some pretty elaborate tailgating parties that looked fun. Stadium. Being a loyal Chicago Bears fan, I sat on the Visitors side in section 339 Row 4 Seat 12. My rule of thumb for sporting events is typically the same, no matter the venue. I like to sit in a mid-level or top tier, close to the 50 yard line (or center of the field) and, if possible, a row closest to the front. What I've found is that this gets you the best panoramic view possible. Stadium seating lets you see over people's heads, so typically there's nothing in your way and you can see all the action. You're not going to catch a ball and you're not going to get an autograph or a jersey from a player on the field. But you'll be able to catch every point of the field and all the action. Amenities. Expensive. Yes. As you will find at every stadium. Long lines during halftime, but if you time things right, you can get in-and-out pretty quick if you're willing to miss a couple of minutes. Plenty of food and beverage choices to choose from. But, they are pricey. Would I go back? Absolutely. The few times that I've been to Paycor Stadium (as it's called today) I've always had a good time. On this particular day, the last 3 minutes of this game was some of the most exciting football of the season. Incredible finish to a game won by the Chicago Bears. Go Bears!

We had brunch at Nicholson's across the street then walked over and entered the venue at Noon. The check-in process was quick and easy. They had several Hamilton banners through the lobby area to get photos before the show. Right after checking in, you hit the merchandise booth where they had a large selection of items for purchase such as shirts, sweaters, and tons of accessories (I'm sure this various by production so keep that in mind). We took the elevator to the loge level (steps are available as well) and took a seat to relax a bit before they opened the doors to the theater. An attendant approached us and mentioned that our niece would need a booster seat and showed us where we could grab one - this was an incredible display of customer service and that remained true throughout our whole time at the Aronoff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They really made you feel welcome and that was a highlight of our experience. They offer light concessions such as drinks, themed cocktails and candy. I would recommend eating at one of the many options around the Aronoff prior to your event or after. The doors opened, we took our playbills and found our seats. The show was phenomenal. This was my first time seeing a musical and I loved it! The stage and venue is spectacular as well. We will definitely be back! We just bought tickets to see the Lion King in July. Highly recommend attending a production here - you won't be disappointed.

This year the major draw was the new Blue Wahoo booth. The line to spin the wheel was three city blocks long, but worth the wait to win awesome prizes including seat packages, hats, seat cushions, an awesome Christmas ornament, and the limited edition Billy Hamilton bobblehead. The Louisville Slugger booth gave out awesome pilsner glasses this year. You should also check out the Hall of Fame area for cool gifts. The best deal at the convention is the Reds Community Mystery bags. For $20 you get an official MLB ball signed by a current or former Reds player. When you consider that an official ball retails for $18 this is a heck of a deal and benefits an excellent organization. Plenty of booths with Larosa's pizza and Skyline chilli, but if you are a season ticket holder, this year they are serving short rib tacos, angus sliders, and wings in the Ultra Lounge. The only shortfall, is somebody in the Reds front office made a terrible choice for Friday's entertainment. Rather than invite back the perennial crowd favorite: The Buffalo Wabs and the Price Hill Shuffle, they decided to "shake things up" according to the staff, and brought in Eden Park Trio. They are terrible. I will be calling my STH rep Monday to complain. Bring back the Wabs!

I guess it's for…read morereally hard core fans, but it seemed to mostly involve a whole lot of standing in lines (at least if you wanted any autographs or photographs with players). It seems like there should be a more efficient way to do that--maybe give out tickets or something that give a specific time. Autograph/photo schedules aren't posted before the event, but you can follow @Reds on Twitter for 30 min advance listings or just walk around and look at the signs by each line. Food options were as expected: limited and expensive. I pretty much just saw LaRosa's and Skyline on the main level and there was an Ovations kiosk in the (lame) VIP lounge for season ticket holders. There were a good number of activities for kids, particularly on the third level, but if you're bringing a child, keep in mind that they need to be old enough for independent play and young enough to be easily impressed. There are additional opportunities to spend money at various memorabilia shops and the official Reds gear store. And there's a main stage that has different player panels or other speakers, so just check the schedule in advance to know if there's anything specific you want to see. RedsFest is a 2-day affair and to really maximize the experience, you would probably want to go both days and just be prepared to be there all day to have the chance to see and get autographs/photos with the players you like. Those with significant others and/or kids who aren't as hard core, should probably leave them at home or drive separately.
