This is the place to go for collectibles, comic books and pinball machines! This is one of the best comic book stores I have been to. We collect Funko Pops, they always have a very large selection of Funkos and other collectible figures or statues. . My daughter loves going just to play pinball, some of the machines are expensive, but most are $0.50 or $0.25. They have a relatively large store and it could take you up to an hour to see everything if you are just browsing. They have three sections in the store- When you walk in they have statues, exclusive funkos, and comic books in the first section you walk into. Behind the desk they have Pokemon cards, dungeon and dragon die, and Magic cards. In the second section you walk into they have tons of collectibles! Board games, figures, Funko pops, dungeons and dragon figures. In the third section is where all the pin ball machines are, they have a ton of them. This is a weekly stop for us, we just enjoy going in a browsing. read more

In an era when people can order comics online, comic book stores really need to have their customer service game on point...and this place falls far short. I gave them 2 stars because they have a wide selection of comics, games, and toys but every time I have been in this store I have gotten no help of any kind. On my most recent trip I could've used some help but none was to be found. Bottom line: this is an okay place to go to just pick up a comic and leave but it you need help you are going to be on your own. read more

Today I ventured to Comics2Games for the sole purpose of playing pinball machines. So here's the current inventory and my commentary on the games I played: Arabian Nights Attack From Mars - fun and fast game Batman 66 - my favorite of all their pins, #1 Dialed In - really cool pin I've been looking forward to playing, it didn't disappoint, tied for 2nd place Ghost Busters - pro model with a wide gap between flippers, tilted back so ball moves more slowly on playfield Guns N' Roses Iron Man Medieval Madness - solid pin with deep challenges Star Trek - not my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Terminator The Simpsons The Wizard of Oz Theatre of Magic - an oldie but a goodie Total Nuclear Annihilation - surprisingly solid, tied for 2nd place X-Men - underwhelming Most games were set up so $1 gets you three games. My boyfriend and I went in today to look and learn some dnd stuff. We are brand new to this kind of thing and really excited to check it out. We found a book we were interested in, my boyfriend found it way cheaper on Amazon, we asked if they priced matched... the lady ringing us out (I'm assuming the owner) was very rude with her response.. she said "well if I did that then I would have to close the doors and shut the lights off because I wouldn't be able to pay my rent".. because of that we will not be going back.. it was really disappointing because we were really excited about it. read more

The storekeep was unpleasant, as a college student with 2 jobs I was trying to find a frugal way to purchase magic cards. She was offended and once I apologized she met me with more attitude. I have never had an apology be met with more irritation. I understand she is a small business, and told her I did not mean to take advantage of her and was simply asking directly what's the best way to save money. I have been less than enamored by comic books lately. I have essentially dropped the hobby. I don't really have the room in my budget (nor in my house) to maintain it. Now I might occasionally stop in a store and pick up a few titles but that will be the extent I am willing to venture. And over the last couple years, the superhero universe in which I was most invested has changed in such a manner that most of the heroes I recall from my youth are no longer the same. Their origins now different, histories wiped clean, their past not my past and I have little interest in the new stories. I suppose you have to grow up at some point. Meh. However, being new to the area and in the mood for a little escapism over lunch, I thought I would try a local comic book store. For the unaware, while superheroes have become big bucks at the movie theater, their original medium can generally be found in only one place, the comic book store. These are the opium dens of the geek world where Sheldon doppelgangers roam and couch potatoes remove themselves to when an online game of Mass Effect 3 is on break. If you're searching for an answer to "who is that guy in the post-credit scene in Avengers" then ask that guy thumbing through the $1 long boxes in the corner. He can not only tell you the name of the character (Thanos) but he can tell you where to find his 1st appearance, what writer created him, and likely the best storyline to get more answers. But be forewarned, (1) that storyline and those comics will likely have become pricier in the last few weeks, and (B) this is where habits begin. OK, the review. I have been to many comic book stores. Yes, I'm a geek, proud of it. C2G is similar to many with overcrowded shelves loaded with comic book paraphernalia, action figures abound and posters depicting superheroes in iconic poses hang here and there. What makes this store one of the best? First, two working pinball machines in the corner. Secondly, a store worker that's more than happy to talk about the books he's selling and really promote some in-store promotional programs. Engaging but not pushy, friendly service. That's a rarity in any retail store, likely even moreso in a comic book store, as it's the one environment where many comic book geeks feel an air of superiority and are wont to show it. So, while I won't be restarting my old hobby, I will likely return to this store again during a lunch break, thumb through some of those long boxes, maybe answer a question someone may pose to me on the best book for young kids and talk shop with one of the workers. Besides, I have a loyalty card to fill out. ;-) read more

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I know nothing about comic books and needed to purchase some for my library. I thought the best way to do that was to go to a comic book store and actually ask. Tess was the lady at the check out when I walked in. I explained that I know nothing about comics and she showed me everything from where the new releases are, what teens might be interested in, to how the rest of the store was set up. I went to C2G for the first time yesterday evening. Its not a very big place but dont let that fool you because this store has pretty much everything. A great selection of new and old comics, a huge selection of toys, collectables and action figures. the workers here are very frendly and helpful. I'm not sure who owns the store but the older man is always very nice and polite but the couple usually there always tells me not to kick something or touch something as if I'm a toddler. It's a shame to come somewhere for business and be treated like a child and if you ask about magic cards at all it's a guaranteed let down if not an argument about how silly or unnecessary it is to have more cards even though they advertise mtg they don't care and don't ask, very poor customer service in my couple of visits read more

This is a solid store. The owner and staff were super friendly and did not give me the 'oh you're a girl therefore you must be here shopping for a boyfriend' vibe. The staff were knowledgable and the prices are right. I loved that the owner took the entire stack of old Hellblazers he had for me to look through when I asked. One stop shop for comic enthusiasts. They have everything you'd look to find in a comic shop. The comics selection is very impressive. They have lots of comics from other publishers, not just DC and Marvel. They have a good selection of figures and statues available. They also carry table top and card game merchandise, though I don't know how good their selection is because I'm not into that sort of thing. They also have a rewards card that gets stamped for every $5 you spend. Although the final reward isn't as much as other places, it's nice that the option for a reward is there. This shop is definitely worth checking out at least once, you might find yourself becoming a repeat customer. read more

Not the worse I've seen, but close. I've. Usually ended up at this location because of it's advertised selection of collectible toys. My first time here, I was not even amused at the attempt of comic books sitting in the bins. Some were folded over on themselves from being stuffed in there. Don't bother asking about key issues, prices are marked way up. They base their value off what eBay, and speculation of future events. Spawn #9,first appearance of Angela, isalready up to $20+ at this store all due to speculation. The toy selection was decent, just depends on what type of collector you are. You may get lucky, and find the figure with mint packaging, but the odds aren't in your favor. This store did get 2 stars from me simply because the staff tries. While I was there on my last visit, one was behind the counter for the duratio. He was on and off the phone trying to hunt down something Star Trek related for a customer. The other employee was ok. He won points with me, because he was conversing with a regular about green lantern while pulling singles out for sale of heroclix. That was also a negative, as he was setting the garbage from the heroclix on the comic bins I was trying to look through. When I politely asked if I could move them down, I was clearly the rude one for interrupting his conversation. read more

Staff was not overly friendly, but I would not go so far to say they go out of their way to be rude. There are better stores in the area if you are looking for a comic store to shop at regularly. A thoroughly enjoyable comic book store. Comics2Games easily holds the edge over it's competitor, only a few miles away (Comic Book World). Comics2Games has a much better ambiance, superior product presentation, courteous staff, eye catching merchandise (statues, posters, toys). Plus, you can always find something decent in the $1 bins here at C2G. The $1 bins at CBW are just their junk. My 2 kids always beg me to take them here, and they are both girls, not super-hero obsessed boys. A fun place, and very fair to trade with. A very engaging, polite, sincere and friendly owner, as other reviews have noted. Again, something else that CBW is lacking. For the non-comic book fans, who dread going anywhere near such a place, when you are in Comics2Games, it does not feel like you are in a dark "Android's Dungeon." Whereas CBW has those role-playing card games that only "nerds" participate in...creepy. What a bunch of geeks. And you know you are a geek, when other geeks call you a geek.
