This location was the very first Half Price Books location I ever shopped at. That being said, this location always has a really decent selection of stuff to go through. I've purchased everything from DVDs, Books, & CDs to game systems and IPods here. The staff is always super nice and helpful. I've never attempted to sell anything to this, or any, location before. From what I hear, they really low-ball you (not just here, any location)..so, I probably won't attempt to sell anything to keep my good opinion of them going. As for a purchase only secondhand place..I love it here!

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smiles and great music. They always have coffee ready to be made and all the goodies for it. The lighting is perfect and welcoming. Everything is beautifully organized. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The art on the walls and decor could not be better. Perfectly priced records, cds, guitars, books, I even saw some cassetts in there. The bathroom was well stocked and clean. We were there to see local bands. What a great way to support the community!

This is a cool and big used bookstore. There are some special editions and they do book binding…read moreand repair. There is a basement and then several floors to spend time checking out books. The service was really nice. There are a lot of older books and not as many newer books. I did think that the sections were well organized and alphabetized so it made it easier to search through. The prices were good as well. It's a nice place to come and browse and look for a hidden gem of a read.

This is a pretty good size thrift shop and they had furniture at the front of the store and…read moreeverything seemed a pretty reasonable as far as prices go. They did not have a huge selection of clothes and shoes but did have puns of books, cds, videos, and many many houseware items. Today there was also a Christmas tree and nice ornaments for purchase. One Way Farm houses children and I believe the proceeds from the thrift go to help out there. We will stop in again as I am sure they receive donations often.

I don't particularly care what your politics are, I like comics. If I don't know you I am not going to talk politics especially now and the complete lack of awareness of this guy was really something. Then another employee?/friend? came in and started talking all sorts of nonsense which certainly isn't appropriate for customers to hear. I put down the books I was going to buy and went next door to the Toy Department and spent my money there instead. I don't know if this store is owned by the same people who own the store on Montgomery road but if it is the owner needs to do something bc the store in Montgomery is great and this one is a nightmare.
