Not bad of a selection of cards and comics but hit or miss on finding someone knowledgeable there i guess ? Last time i went the guy admitted he didnt know about comics or much and was just there to ring up the orders so aside from the selection and store looking presentable the value i cant say since i didnt buy anything . read more

Geoff is great and he really knows his stuff. He has a great selection of toys and comics. This is a great place to pick up your weekly books and set up a pull list. They carry just about all the Marvel and DC titles in good quantities and most of the independent books you'd want. 5 stars! read more

I've been shopping here weekly for over a decade, close to two. Geoff (or is it Jeff) is a good businessman, and if he can get you an item you want, he will. If he can't, he'll tell you up front. New books come in Wednesday as a rule, and he'll let you know if they'll be late for some reason. The layout of the store is good, and the only problem I've ever had was guys reading the new books instead of buying them, but I think that's everywhere. read more

The best comic and collectibles spot in Cincinnati! Two locations, a ton of selection and great prices. If they don't have it, they will happily help you track it down and get it for you. Lot's of great repeat customers, and great location. I like to grab a few books and head to Pleasant Ridge Chili or Gaslight Cafe and have some quiet reading time with some good food! Right across the street from Everybody's Records (another great local spot)! read more

This place is epic! It takes me back to my childhood with the Topps baseball cards and Garbage pail kid packs. Of course there are tons of comics and graphic novels but what strikes me is how organized and clean the place is. I'm not a super young guy and I'm not sure younger folks are even in to comics anymore because all the folks that were in here were ALL older than me! There were stickers, buttons, figurines, clothing, cards, collectibles both new and vintage. From superman vs. Muhammed Ali to Walking dead swag. I bought 5 comics related to all of the new comic book characters coming to to TV and the big screen so I could get some back story. I'm a geek like that! They have comics as cheap as 25 cents! ...Or 5 for a dollar. I've never been to a comic spot with so many levels of enjoyment to delve into. It a super intimidating space because you couldn't possibly read all of the material in it. But it seems like it would be the DJ equivalent of "crate diggin" where you could spend hours looking for one gem. Definitely a place to visit in the city. I think it's pretty impressive.! Not so humbly submitted, King Michael C. read more

Great selection of back issues and trades. Decent number of new comics available, but the latest issues go fast, so get there early. I've gone there a few times looking for something, assumed they didn't have it because there were no current or back issues, and then found out later that they just ordered a few and sold out. Pricing for back issues is fair and it's easy to find what you're looking for; sorting and signage are helpful. read more

This is one of the best spots in Cincinnati for comics. Great customer service. Awesome back catalog.

Great selection of newer and golden age comics. The guy at the counter was super helpful and was able to help me find a specific book I was looking for. This place is the best place in Cincy (that I've visited) for buying comics. read more

This is an area old shop that has everything you need. Great selection of actin figures and TPB's. Has a real "old shop" feel. The downfall is that the owner and staff aren't very personable or forthcoming with customer service. Fair priced on older items. Probably the second best pure comic shop in the city after Rockin' Rooster. read more

This place has a little bit of everything. I mostly go for the baseball cards but they have a huge selection of all different types of cards from sports to movies. They also have a very large selection of comic books and action figures. There seems to be a little something for every type of collector. read more

I love this place! A neat little gem, conveniently located in Pleasant Ridge near dining and other shopping options - a great place to stop in before dinner across the street, or while you're just out for a stroll. The stock is meticulously organized, and there's a great selection of comics and graphic novels old and new, as well as branded merch and collectors' accessories such as protective sleeves and storage solutions. The guy working when I was there (I got the feeling he was the owner, but could be wrong) was very friendly and knowledgeable, and has a great first-namsies relationship with lots of regulars who came and went while I was browsing. It's a little cramped, but you're sure to find some hidden treasures! Check it out! read more

As a collector, I have visited many local comic shops in my travels. Whenever I'm in the Cincinnati area, Queen City Comics is one of the places I made a point to stop by for back-issue collecting, new issues, variant covers, not mention graphic novels, trade paperbacks, and even collectibles. This shop has it all! Their back-issue collection is vast and fairly priced. They always have a full stock of new issues, including independant publishers, which can be difficult to find at larger chain shops. I always can look forward to a great find at Queen City!!! read more

This is the big, (polite) brother to the location in Fairfield. They have a very good selection of back issue comics, and the owners always helpful and polite.he does tend to be on the pricier side of his back issues. If it has any significance, you will pay more.it doesn't matter how minuscule. Like paying $10 for Ultimate Fantastic Four 22. Don't know why that has some importance? Most don't. It was the first appearance of the Marvel Zombies. I just needed it for my collection for Fantastic Four. You're every day back issue comics, you're good to go. Key iconic issues like fantastic four 48? You're going to spend an arm and a leg. I've watched him rip apart guys selling comics to him, just picking it apart how horrible condition it was in. Can't blame him for being a good business guy, because he gets the comics cheaper. The owner is very polite though. I would just recommend knowing what you have to sell before walking in there. read more

Place is sweet been going there for years. Usually have anything you need. Can also special order stuff.

I'm not a massive comic book/graphic novel person. But I recently got into reading Scott Pilgrim and wanted to pick up the rest of the series. I walked into this shop and there's nothing else to say except wow. The plethora of comic books, graphic novels, posters etc. is overwhelmingly awesome. The guy working behind the desk that day was extremely helpful and helped me find what I was looking for. Through a brief conversation I learned that this place has been around for 25 years! I may be a few years late, but I'm glad I made it. Even if you're like me and don't have a massive interest in comic books, you should go just to check it out. Who knows, you might find something. read more

I've been into the shop about a dozen Times over the last few months. I mostly collect baseball Cards and a variety of other sports cards and I must say they have a solid selection of individual packs and full sets along with a solid list of hard to find individual cards. My only issue with this place is that the pricing seems to be just a buck or two above other stores. Not a huge deal but when you buy 10+packs at a time it adds up. As far as comics, I have limited input but from what I have seen they have a huge selection and it all seems to be organized superbly. I would recommend this place to anyone excited about cards or comics! read more

This place is the bomb! Great selection. Helpful staff. Decently priced

Best place around for comics. I go to Queen City Comics every week or two and pick up some stuff, great staff, the guys are nice and well informed and they've always got what I'm looking for. I've never been let down. If they don't have it they'll order it for you. I started out going here as a kid with my Dad 15 or 16 years ago, I still go there today as an adult. I look forward to taking my own children sometime down the road. Great place. One of my favorite places in town. read more

I've been going here for years. Don't be fooled by cosmetic differences. Queen City is far and away the best comic shop in Cincinnati. The staff is awesome, the merchandise is impeccably organized, and the two locations make it convenient to stop in regularly. read more

I've been shopping at Queen City Comics, once a week for nearly the past two years, and I plan on remaining a customer for quite some time! They have an excellent sellection of currently weekly books, and they really are well stocked in back issues too! Their staff is knowledgable and friendly, always willing to help and offer suggestions. It is also really clean and well kept, unlike some other comic shops. Stopping in and picking up my weekly issues is one of the highlights of my week! read more

This place is close enough to my house that I can walk there. I buy all my comics here now. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Stock is very well organized and they have tons of stuff. They even have boxes of super cheap comics if you are just looking for random stuff. I absolutely suggest trying this place. Bring yourself, your kids, even your parents they have something for everyone. And, if they don't have what you are looking for they always call their other store and see if they have it instead. If the other store has it they will transfer it to this store and hold it for you for no extra cost. I cannot give Queen City Comic & Card enough stars. read more

Very nice staff. The cliche of unhelpful, judgmental and sexist comic store workers is completely debunked here. If you want to dip your toe into comics, I would highly suggest this place. They really were helpful to my clueless boyfriend and helped him find new comics to surprise me with. I believe wholeheartedly if you showed up and said, "I want to read comics but never have picked one up," they would happily set you up with something you would actually be into. I have never had any of my friends who are girls feel degraded or belittled when they came here. read more
