We are new home owners and Brandon not only fixed our heater, but he took the time to explain everything thoroughly including give us guidance on what filters to order and how to replace, since that's what triggered the rest of the problems when the heater got to hot. We also felt the price was reasonable, considering the weekend service and fast turnaround. We had such a great experience, we signed up for the twice a year maintenance program.

This meant not putting the unit further back in the crawl space but right in the way of my crawl space entrance. This also meant installing a new pad that sits beside my already large and accommodating pad for the units, which also blocks a sprinkler head. The pump/drain installed was put right next to the house so water would drain between the foundation of my house and the pad. That also created a lot of algae buildup. I fixed this myself. Does the unit blow cold air, yes. Is this quality work? Not in the slightest. Despite this experience I called this company out to have my air ducts looked at for potential cleaning. A recommendation was made to have my air ducts cleaned. The quote received referenced systems being cleaned. It was NOT clear when they first came out they would only be doing 1 of 2 systems. I learned this while the work was being done. I reached out to express my frustration that a $1200 duct cleaning was only for 1 of the 2 systems. I received a call back with the technician citing he only looked at one system. The technicians explanation and the quote did not make it clear that only 1 system would be cleaned. Strange too that the odor that triggered this duct cleaning was on the system they installed. I had no issues with the original system that was there for 13 years. I will not only NOT recommend this company, I'll go out of my way to warn others. There are plenty of companies looking to earn peoples business, and I'm glad to give it to them.

I looked up their website and their website is near identical to A-1 Heating & Cooling - which had me concerned, concerned that they were owned by the same people. If that is the case, I couldn't tell because the lady who answered the phone her mannerism and approach is a lot more down to earth and personable - in a way Southern. I explained to her the situation about me looking for a second quote and my HVAC being under warranty - she wrote a few things down and told me she would call me back. She called me back minutes later and stated that someone could come out there within the next hour as they are finishing up a job near me to assess. I was surprised to hear same day service and it was already 11AM. Before he even came out - she even gave me the total labor cost to install it - if the item I needed to have replaced was the correct one. I called numerous places, and none of them would give me any type of quote over the phone. Other places told me everything from 'No one is here to do that' to 'We would need someone out there before you receive any quote since it's a repair.' I feel like she has some authority when it comes to the business, and that is always a plus. But, he came out there less than an hour later, diagnosed it, ordered parts from Nashville, and showed up the next morning to install it. Didn't try any pressuring sales tactics to upsell me any type of warranty or maintenance plan. The only thing they should get is one of those Square devices, so that they can take debit/credit cards via phone/tablets instead of over the phone.

It was a blisteringly hot summer, and our A/C malfunctioned in early May of 2025. Our unit was less…read morethan two years old. A high end heat pump/A/C with apparently no customer service within 60 miles. While some technicians found a faulty blower motor (still under warranty), the service department of this manufacturer made the process very difficult. 90 days without A/C. With said motor replaced, the A/C worked for a few days before it stopped blowing cold air. This is now five months without A/C. Called Daniels Heating and Air, the technicians came out the next day and recharged a depleted coolant R-410, and for a week it cooled great. But soon it became apparent that the unit had a leak. After consulting with the manufacturer representative, they agreed to ship a brand new unit ($14-18,000) and it was shipped to Daniels Heating and Air. When it arrived, they brought out the unit, and installed it in short order. It was installed at no cost to us. The technicians that we interacted with were great, and so we recommend Daniels Heating and Air without reservation. Brock Heating and Air came out and had the system running in less than three hrs and actually showed me what the problem was and what the best ways were to fix it. We first found Jason after he was referred by a family friend in the construction business when we were dealing with a horrible HVAC failure that our home warranty had made even worse by sending a worthless technician who compounded the problem. After much finagling and argument, we finally got the home warranty company to pay for Jason to fix the problem. After suffering a severe heat wave without air conditioning, we finally were approved to have Jason fix the problem. He put in the hard work to get things running, and we once again had air conditioning and felt like normal human beings. He was extremely ethical and reasonable with his prices, he came on a weekend to prevent us from suffering any further misery from the heat, and he fixed the problem. That was after two other companies had sent people and nothing had been fixed. He was our hero! Fast forward to our second home where the HVAC system was 7 years old and pooped out on us.
