They didn't have a few things that I normally get from my other Trader Joe's, so that was very disappointing, but the store was well stocked. I would go back if I was in the area.

People used to read the Joe cartoons and think it was novel, lol. Soon, alternative-type grocery stores were en vogue, and that trend lives today. Staff is professional, not smartarse like Media TJ's. They work hard, and products are thoughtfully made, with consideration for food politics, and TJ's always comes in at an attractive price. This store is always clean, organized, and promptly being stocked. It's always insanely busy and customers are selfish and pushy. I've seen stock put out and grabbed from the hands of employees, until nothing's left. People are d!cks in line, too. No courtesy to others ahead of you if a new line opens. Acme customers have better manners. But this happens at the Media and Concord TJ's stores too. In decades of TJ's experience, most TJ's customers in the Philly area are pretentious a-holes and for this reason, I go as seldom as possible. Then again, WF customers overlap and pretty much suck too. Something about alternative supermarkets brings out the worst in people (or locals are just the worst people). Gateway is a NIGHTMARE with parking pretty much all the time. The weird exit where you snake through the end of the center and wait in line for 10minutes to make any left, my God! Could they not have figured out any other way to merge with the 202 off ramp? Even a 5 points down there by the exit would make better sense. Off ramp drivers are already dangerous and stupid there, and there is NEVER any shortage of selfish local men in designer cars cutting off EVERYONE. Yes, it's normally men here... it's women on 30. The parking lot is a dumpster fire!

There are carts available to grab at entrance. The collection iin this store is outstanding than nearest Aldi. The vegetables, fruits, dairy, bread choices. Everything in the store is great and somehow looks fresh. I needed assistance and the staff was friendly to assit. The prices are reasonable. Only suggestion is the checkout counters could get lengthy at times.

Like a weirdo, I've been driving by the storefront every time I've been in Exton recently to check if it was open yet. I wish I could blame this excitement on being cooped up due to COVID, but in reality guys...I just love new grocery stores. Opening details have been suspiciously limited online so I've had to rely on good ol' fashioned drive-by's. Shoutout to my local plant swap group where I finally learned that - yes! - they're open at last. The store itself is very big for its category - I believe larger than the other Lidl's in the area and definitely bigger than the nearby Exton Aldi. It's super bright and welcoming. Even full of many other excited opening-week shoppers tonight, there was room to maneuver around and find what I was looking for. One thing I love about Lidl is their fresh bakery. In non-COVID times everything is available by the piece: one pretzel roll, one croissant, etc. Right now for disease prevention everything is bundled into packages so you can't pick & mix as easily, but the prices are great so even buying multiple of one product is still a good deal. My usual go-to is either the pretzels or pretzel buns, but this time I picked up some tasty quark donut holes which were soft and fresh. I didn't really come in with a list today, so more just wondered around the aisles and got a lay of the land. For some reason I was amused by the mini door freezers above the usual fish/meat sliding freezers. They make the store look more...organized? Futuristic? I don't know, but they're fun. Also fun: if you're used to other Lidl stores or shopping at Aldi, this won't be a surprise to you, but they have a decent rotating stock of home goods and clothing in the middle of the store as well. If you are usually more of a Giant/Acme kinda gal, you may be surprised to find small kitchen appliances, women's leggings, and men's boat shoes next to your salmon. It's always fun to see what random things pop up that you usually don't need but will be tempted by anyway. All employees were super friendly and welcoming, and everyone was wearing a mask. Of course the store is brand new but still worth mentioning that it looked sparkling clean. No quarters required for carts, and they have the smaller "half carts" which I appreciate because they're much easier to maneuver around the store. Overall a great first impression from this new Lidl and I'm definitely looking forward to shopping here more!

I am currently living in San Francisco so San Franciscans in Philly can think of Mom's Organic Market akin to Rainbow Grocery in SF. Mom's has a great variety of local and organic produce. Hard to find items that you would find in a good well stocked natural food store or cooperative like Mom's is. Staff is friendly. The layout of the store is a labyrinth that can be confusing like a rubik's cube too far gone yet with a little patience and perhaps asking security, staff, or one of the regulars they can help you get your learning curve to navigate the store of organic natural food product heaven. Within Mom's is the Naked Lunch vegan restaurant which I will return to have a bite there as it looks interesting. I am a proud graduate of the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in Boulder, CO where I received the William S. Burroughs scholarship. I did my thesis on William S. Burroughs and William S. Burroughs wrote Naked Lunch aka the cut up novel for which this restaurant is named. Since I was in Philly two weeks I was mixing up dining out at the wonderful vegan foodie scene in Philly along with cooking at my homestay. For cooking at my homestay at Mom's I picked up the following: Soymilk Local and organic blueberries Bananas Garnet jewel sweet potatoes Limes Avocados Organic granny smith apples Red cabbage Ginger root Sweet yellow onion I am pretty sure all the produce was organic. Mom's has been family owned and operated since 1987. Great bulk bin items. Great produce. In a word, great. Mom's sets the bar high for a natural food store. They are like the special forces of natural food stores which is quite alright in my book. Each day Mom's states customers prevent 9,233 grocery bags from being used. Mom's has banned over 250 ingredients from our products storewide. Mom's has chosen to print their receipts on BPA and BPS free paper products for the safety of it's community and the environment. In a word...Yes!
