Melissa Schlenker, who I believe is the Head Pharmacist, does such an outstanding job of going the extra mile for each and every customer. She has the patience of a saint and is outstanding in every way. Her assistant, Kelly, is excellent as well. She knows her job and does it so well. I am thankful for such great people at our Hamburg Weis Pharmacy. I will conlude by saying that Amy Breidigan, Front Desk Manager is just wonderful. Always helpful and with a smile on her face. These 3 gals are at the top of anyone's list. Professionalism at Its Finest!!!

Worse, we keep getting inaccurate timelines from the pharmacy, forcing us to drive over multiple times just to be told it still isn't ready. The first prescription was an antibiotic, the second was migraine medication (and now my wife has a migraine without medication). I understand if you can't get medicine, but at least attempt to give us accurate timelines. Both times we were told to come back at a specific date/time only for it not to be ready - twice. Never again.

Many of the workers-- ironically, usually the ones who work with the walk-up consumers-- have a "I…read morenever do anything wrong-- you're obviously the one with the problem" mindset. We are currently waiting on a prescription that they were supposed to get clarity from the doctor but didn't. When the doctor called to clarify-- because they wouldn't call-- they wouldn't answer the phone. The doctor called multiple times without them answering. But, of course, it's everyone else's fault. Never theirs. We're currently waiting 32 minutes for a simple prescription; but, yeah, nothing is ever than simple when you have noncommunicative, combatative employees. My thought here is that this was a Thrift Drug since you usually found them in a strip mall. Rite Aid swept in, gave it a makeover, and slapped their name on it. Even though the inside of this was newly remodeled it still had that feel that it is underutilized. You get that feeling because of the lack of items available on the shelves and in the coolers. I browsed for a bit, picked up a few items, and made my way to the counter. There was a minimal wait until a staff member who was performing two jobs in one came to the counter to ring me out.
