My son needed a root canal and his regular dentist was not able to do it so she referred us to come here. I was very surprised that we were able to get a consultation appointment the very next day. The staff was very nice and friendly. Dr Silvers was going to try to do a partial root canal since my son is young, but she ended up having to do a full one because of the way his teeth are. He was having a problem with getting numbed and she had to redo it 4 times... through no fault of hers, its because his roots were so long. Each time he would flinch or say it hurt she would stop working, give it another try and wait. She was very patient and never seemed to be annoyed or anything like that. I really like that during the consultation and the actual appointment she talked to both of us. With him being a kid some Dr's and Dentists tend to speak to only me, or on the rare occasion only to him, as if I were only there to provide a ride for him! She addressed our questions and concerns and was very thorough when explaining things. She was very respectful to both of us, while being nice and humorous as well! I figured I would have to wait in the tiny waiting room while they did the procedure, but I got to go back with him. I was planning on putting my book on in my ear buds, but she had a pretty good Playlist going so I got somethings done while listening to good music! I'm so grateful that they turned a scary and uncomfortable experience for my child into a bearable and easy one. read more

The staff here are wonderful, respectful, and very helpful. The office is clean and cared for. I needed a root canal and just like everybody else was expecting a painful procedure. My root canal was virtually painless. Numbing medicine was used to numb my gums before the shot. Didn't even feel the poke of the needle, just a little pressure from the numbing medicine being injected. Was told that because of the tooth number, it can be a little more difficult, however she knocked it out of the park. Wouldn't think twice if I had to go back. A+ work for sure. read more

A root canal in 45 minutes?! It's true! So happy to have found Dr. Silvers office through Yelp. She and her team were extremely fast and thorough. She uses a microscope during procedures which is great! I have a small mouth and my tooth was in the wayyyy back and she did a great job, my jaws don't feel sore at all, she was able to work with my unique anatomy which I'm grateful for. Before the treatment she used 3D imaging which allowed her to see I had 3 canals that were long and delicate, and I do think that the 3D imaging was worth the extra $200+ because she was able to get the procedure done more quickly knowing exactly what she was dealing with. Also she let me hold the suction which helped a lot with my anxiety around breathing during dental procedures. I actually almost fell asleep! Great music. In all slightly more expensive with the 3D imaging but definitely faster and I think did a more thorough job than my previous root canal procedures. I am grateful and would return to her office again if, God forbid, I needed another root canal! read more

Dr. Silvers, Tina and their team are incredible. I was told by my dentist that I had a vertical root fracture and my tooth needed to be removed. They only did a routine x-ray and took pictures of my tooth with their phone. They referred me to an oral surgeon and the oral surgeon told me that he wouldn't remove the tooth unless he needed to but couldn't diagnose a VRF. I asked one of the staff at the oral surgeon's office if they could refer me to someone else. I'm only 34 have had no prior damage or major work done to any of my teeth. The staff member referred me to Dr. Silvers. Tina did the advanced x-ray I needed and recommended a root canal instead of extraction. I just got the root canal done last week and it went very well. I thought it was especially nice that Dr. Silvers was teaching students as she was working on my tooth. It just goes to show the incredible amount of patience, compassion and care that she has and the culture she fosters for her staff. I would highly recommend this business. I'm a 67 year old man who never had any issues with my teeth except a few fillings from the 60's. My dentist recommended a couple of crowns to "prevent" future issues with those 2 lower molars. After placing the two crowns I started experiencing terrible nerve pain that required 10-12 Motrin per day. I was sent to Dr Silvers for two root canals. All I can say is WOW! Dr and her assistant were on their A game. Two root canals done in 1.5 hours. My regular dentist said I would have to come back to them to do the permanent filling. When I asked Dr Silvers assistant she stated if the patient requests we can put in the permanent filling. Makes sense to me. Why get a temp filling from Dr Silvers to have my dentist drill it out and put in the permanent? Dr Silvers did what I requested and I was done. Dr Silvers is A number one. I went to this place looking for a place closer to home after getting a referral that was in Rancho Cucamonga which is 20+ miles away from home. At the Rancho place I was told I needed 2 root canals and the price was a bit insane. I wanted a second opinion so I found this place closer to home. Though pricing was not too much difference I was told I actually only needed 1 root canal and the prices were better. They told me that if at one point I needed a root canal for the second one that it would be a waste of my money since I had an extraction of my bottom tooth and there is nothing to bite against anyway. The lady at the front desk was super helpful abs went through all my questions with me and Dr. silvers was very helpful when answering my questions and giving me my options. Dr. Geers is semi-retired and she has Dr. Silvers taking care of most of her practice now. Dr. Silvers is AMAZING!! I've never met Dr. Geers, but from what I'm reading, she was able to get a clone of herself with Dr. Silvers. I'm a big scared-e-cat of the dentist but Dr. Silvers made me feel very comfortable. She was very thorough and I didn't feel a thing up until the Novocain started to wear off and she quickly gave me another shot and I was great from then on. I've had 3 root canals over my lifetime. This one was by far the least traumatic! I highly recommend the practice! Everyone is very nice, helpful, and professional. Root Canal. Those two simple words alone can cause fear, anxiety and wincing. They can cause women of class and moral distinction to swoon and faint, and men of brave hearts and strong constitutions to groan in pain. Years of dental neglect due to a lack of insurance had led me to this point. I recently had a tooth that was abcessing and either needed to be tended to or extracted. Since I recently acquired dental insurance through my employer, I decided to use it and see what my options were. First I went to a General Dentist. He explained that the tooth could be extracted; or, if I wanted it saved, a root canal would be necessary. Considering I want to keep the molars I still have in my mouth, I decided on the latter. He informed me that, due to the shape and curvature of the tooth's root, that he felt better if he referred me to a specialist. I didn't even know there were such things in dentistry (other than oral surgeons).. He then gave me a referral to Dr. Cindy Geers. After some thought and deliberation, I called and made an appointment. Best...decision...ever... Simply put, Dr. Geers was a delight and a godsend. I was very nervous, since I had lots of dentistry and orthodontics when I was a child. Every time I would be on my back and open my mouth - it meant pain. I explained this all to Dr. Geers and her assistant, Taina; and they assured me things were much different in this day and age - and they would do their best to make the experience as least unpleasant as possible. They succeeded. Dr. Geers is a wonderful woman. She explained that when it comes to pain, she's a bit of a wimp and doesn't want her patients to be in any more pain than is necessary. She was very, very friendly and quite informative as to what needed to be done and what to expect. The questions I had were expertly answered in easy to understand language. The procedure itself. was almost...well...pleasant! As pleasant as a Root Canal can be, anyway. Dr. Geers made sure to get me, very...and I do mean VERY...numb. In fact, the most painful part of the whole procedure were the Novacaine shots; and to be honest, those were only a bit uncomfortable. Dr. Geers helped the time pass during the procedure with friendly chat. I don't know what it is about dentists who want to chat while they have you at their mercy like that. Perhaps it's the whole "captive audience" thing. But in this case - it was appreciated. She was full of info on this and that and liked to point out all the cool and updated technologies they have now to make the procedure less unpleasant than in the past. She has a great sense of humor. We chatted and joked a bit and, before I knew it, I was done! Half of what I was dreading was how sore I would be when the Novacaine wore off. She gave me an Rx for Ibuprofen 800mg; but to my surprise, I only had to use it for about a day and a half afterwards. I was VERY pleasantly surprised and impressed by this. Turns out that Dr. Geers has been an Endodontist for over 25 years. All she does is Root Canals. She does them very well. She told me that she loves her job because she's actually help clean out infection and bring healing to people's lives and overall relief to their pain. I have to go back to my General Dentist for the crown fitting to finish the overall procedure and I plan on thanking him for the referral. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Geers and Taina. They helped ease my anxiety and fear as well as my pain. If you have dental insurance and need a root canal - I highly recommend going to/getting a referral to see this wonderful woman and first-class professional! Pain-free is not an adjective I would use in a sentence with root canal but this was my experience with Dr. Cindy Geers. I was referred to her when I started experiencing pain from a previous root canal procedure performed by another dentist in 1998. During my first visit, she thoroughly explained where the problem laid and the process she would take to fix my tooth. Tania, the office manager, spent time with me going over the financial arrangements. I completely understood and was all set to tackle the tooth. Finally, the big day arrived and I was quite nervous. I told Dr. Geers and Tania that I've always experienced pain during canal procedures. They both calmed my fears. Dr. Geers has a unique way of administering medication that I barely felt the injections. I loved the deep breathing technique. The pretreatment process was very zen. I put on my headphones while Dr. Geers worked away. Not once did I ever feel any pain, not even in the slightest. Dr. Geers is a warm, wonderful person. Very professional (specializes in this field for 30 years) and totally on her game yet the human factor was always present. I felt completely comfortable and trusted her explicitly. Tania is just as much fun. She has a gentle approach and is very reassuring. They are an amazing team!! I have another tooth that needs repair (previous dentist did a real number on two of my teeth) so Dr. Geers is the person I'm going back to. I highly recommend that you seek out Dr. Geers for any canal work you may need. Trust me, she's the best!! read more

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Dr. Silvers. Her bedside manner was poor and concerning at most. I had the opportunity to witness her interactions with previous clients and it certainly did not compare to my experience. She never introduced herself or even attempted to say my name. What a way to make someone feel comfortable and welcome. She was abrasive, aggressive (barged into the room and pointed her finger at me) and was easily annoyed by my "green" questions (note: first time having a root canal). Her physical responses to my explanation of my medical history were concerning as well. She bucked/rolled her eyes at me many times throughout this particular part of the conversation. I guess she thought I was lying about some challenges with my medical history. But I smiled, and continued with the visit like a professional because I had good home training from my mother. I'm not sure why she did not treat me well. I'd hate to attribute it to my ethnicity but what else can I point too. I paid my bill after the visit was complete so what else could it be. And even if her interaction with me was because of my medical history, and not the aforementioned (eg race), isn't it better just to say unto me that she's not comfortable seeing me as her patient due to my history? I'd rather have her say that than mistreat me and show lack of empathy. She certainly needs retraining on professional decorum and acumen in the dental field. I would say I'm disappointed but I truly am thankful that I learned everything I needed to know about Dr. Silvers during this visit. I certainly cannot trust her to perform work in my mouth. It's just too risky. In other news, I ended up finding another Endo and his practice is phenomenal. He treated me like family, was supportive, had a superb attitude AND he explained everything about the process before he began my treatment, during and afterwards. I left this other practice pain free and cared for properly. With that said I hope Ms. Silvers takes an inward look and works on whatever caused her to be hateful during my visit. Really, what's the big deal with root canals? I'm HUGELY phobic about dentists, but I swear that I dozed off at least twice while she was working! Everything was clearly explained, both before the procedure and even during it. If more dentists had her chair-side manner, there'd be a lot fewer jokes about masochistic dentists and the horror of toot canal! This was my first time seeing Dr. Silvers, I needed a root canal due to some recent dental work (done elsewhere) going haywire and causing some issues with a front tooth's nerve deteriorating and causing an infection. I was originally supposed to go in for a consult and then come back on a later date for the procedure. I got a call the night before my appointment saying they could do treatment the same day (which is great if you have to take time off work.) So I appreciated that for sure. The overall procedure went flawlessly (and painlessly.) Dr. Silvers and her assistant Taina were very gentle and told me everything that was going on as they were doing it. She got my root canal done in like 30 minutes, which I was definitely surprised (but happy) about. I know that there are a couple not-so-great reviews on here but I had to share my experience to help alleviate some of the negativity for anyone looking to have work done here. Now, having gone through the procedure with her, I can honestly say I would not hesitate for one second to go back to her again. Dr. Geers is AMAZING!!! She took her time and was very thorough. Dr. Geers is the BEST! I have a real fear of dentists but she put me at ease and made sure that I had no pain! I have very long roots and am extremely difficult to anesthetize. Dr. Geers would not proceed until I was completely numb. She explained every step of the treatment and made me laugh which is pretty difficult to do during a root canal! She is efficient and takes such pride in her work! I really love and appreciate both her and her assistant! I'd never had a root canal before today, and I was a little apprehensive. Dr. Geers put me at ease immediately, and I found this invasive procedure to be a great experience. My teeth and gums are difficult to numb for some reason, and she was so insistent that I was totally numb, even adding a little more when she got into the tooth and it was a little uncomfortable. She made sure I stayed relaxed and kept up a great description of what she was doing as she moved along with the procedure. One other thing I really liked is that I could tell she was meticulous about making sure everything was done perfectly. She also took great care to not ruin the existing crown, which was very considerate of my pocketbook. She and her staff were soooo friendly. If I have to get another root canal...I'll go to her without hesitation! read more

Dr. Silvers was amazing! I called her office this morning in pain and by 4pm I was out of pain. When I called the front desk, the gal was very nice and worked me into their schedule. From the moment I walked in the office I felt comfortable and well cared for. I really liked Dr. Silvers bedside manner as well as her assistant. She was not in a rush, she listened to me and then took her time diagnosing the correct tooth. It was not obvious on the X-ray which tooth was causing pain. Once she isolated the culprit she went to work. Her injections didn't hurt and I was plenty numb. It was a long procedure but she was persistent and worked hard to prevent me from having further dental surgery due to a calcified canal. I am sitting here this evening with no need for an analgesic and I feel GREAT. I highly recommend Dr. Silvers and her staff. You can't go wrong with them. One cool thing about her office is the awesome memory foam pad that you sink into when you sit in her dental chair. read more
