Everyone in our group loved what they ordered. The food was delicious, the sizes were generous and the prices were great. It was around 9:30-10pm when we arrived and the place was still busy. It was fancier than I expected with a bit of a sports bar twist. The menus were on iPads. Our server was friendly and helped a couple people with their orders. I hadn't had black beans and rice in a while so I ordered it as my side along with the plantains and couldn't have made a better choice. I had a Cuban sandwich and my husband had a Cuban style burger. We ate everything on our plate. Yum! It was late night done right. The reviews had me uncertain but I would definitely eat here again.

The rolls were old or stale bread that was thrown in a skillet with some oil and garlic. The best part of our meal was the double frosted beer. That said, this is really more of a grab-and-go spot. I wouldn't recommend dining inside since the seating area tends to fill up with people waiting for their to-go orders, which makes it feel crowded and a bit chaotic. The food itself is solid for a fast option -- hot, freshly grilled, and satisfying when you're craving something quick. We got one bbq steak and chicken, and one steak and pastrami. They throw the meat right on the grill and cook it in front of you. They have such a variety of sauces and you can pick if you want it mixed in with the meat, on top of the sandwich, or on the side. You can also opt to do a 'bomb' sandwich (which we did for both of our subs). It adds green pepper, onion, bacon bits, and mushroom. It is a must!!!!!!!!! You can pick white or wheat sub. they sub rolls were so soft and fresh tasting. You can choose to have salt/pepper, cheese, oil/vinegar, mayo, lettuce and tomato. Definitely get some melted cheese on top, i would skip cold toppings if you're having a hot sandwich. Get some ranch on the side to dip! Every bite was phenomenal! the meat had so much flavor and paired great with the soft roll and melted cheese. I want to return for one of their puddings in the refrigerator (cookies and cream or banana) Keep in mind it can get a little salty with all the meats, cheese, and sauces. Get a big water with your meal. I found the service friendly and the tables were clean so you can sit inside and enjoy the food.

I used to come here during my lunch break years ago back when lunch was less than $10. The selection was ample and the food were good. As it is locted in a shopping center, there are plenty of parking. More so now since most of the businesses are closed. RESTAURANT: They did an excellent job with the renovation. Outside looks refreshed and inviting. Inside, new ceiling, walls, light fixtures and buffet counters. Decor is minimal and there are colorful lighting that were probably unncessary. Seating is comfortable and typical of your Chinese buffet spots. There are many food stations now and everything looked clean. I did not get to see the restrooms but since it was slow that night, my son said it was clean. SERVICE: The ladies were nice and attentive. They came around to clear the table and asked if we are ok (a little too often). They spoke Spanish and English. The owner told the kids to sit anywhere they want and these kids were so excited to oblige. FOOD: The food are very typical of any Chinese buffet fares. This evening was supposed to be "seafood" night so they had come fried crabs, lots of variations of shrimp and some steamed crab legs. They even have a small sushi are and they looked really appetizing. The salad and fresh fruit bar was my mom's favorite because they had longans. And they had a whole wall of desserts and a freezer-full of ice cream. As far as the taste go, I enjoyed the shrimp and calamari combination the most. The fried shrimp were huge and delicous as well. They brought some freshly cooked teriyaki chicken on the stick and those tasted fresh and juicy. We came for the crab legs, and for the price we paid we were hoping for at least more crabs if not better quality. We got what seems to be leftover since lunch time, skinny crab legs and they were never replenished during this visit. The pork bbq ribs was a bit too sweet for me but was not bad. The fried chicken wings were good. But that was about it for me. The fried rice looked untouched. I tried it and the grains were a bit hard perhaps from sitting on the heat too long and honestly, quite tasteless. It looked like fried rice but it was not fragrant nor good at all. Overall this visit was not as good as we expected. The staff were nice. Our cups were alway full, and our table was cleared every five minutes. As for the price point of over $21 for minimal seafood, and taste wise, it was not worth it for my family. We are very well versed when it comes to food, Asian cuisine but especially with Chinese buffets so I guess it's best for you to come and try for yourself.
