I was confused on the booking website and booked the wrong service type, but we were able to correct this the day of the appointment after she texted me with no issues. Service: The appointment was for a microdermabrasion facial - $130 for 45 mins. For what it costs, I was a bit disappointed that the appointment, aside from the actual microdermabrasion (~5 mins), consisted more of a 4-5 step skincare routine - applying cleanser, applying mask, applying lotion. Application of the mask and sitting in the mask took up most of the appointment time. Extractions, hot facial steam, face/neck massages were not included. Overall: Reading some of the reviews now, it seems that Yourim is more commonly booked for eyelash extensions, rather than skin facials. If I'm ever in the market for an eyelash tech, I'd be happy to check her out again. For facials, I may have to check elsewhere.

But my "2-weeks past my refill time" nails looked horrible. So after a Yelp search and a confirm from a dear friend, I made my way to this local "fave". When I arrived 20 minutes after opening, it was packed and I immediately second-guessed my decision. But, the "people mover" who greeted me was so friendly and welcoming, I decided to stay. He asked what services I would need and got me seated for a mani-pedi within 5 minutes. My pedi nail tech was super nice and for some reason switched to doing my fingernails while someone else came in to finish my feet. Everything was going well until check out. The friendly neighborhood people mover asked about my experience and then asked to inspect my nails. He turned and said something to another nail tech and then next thing I knew, I was being ushered to another chair to "fix my nails". They didn't look bad to me. I just got a powder dip... nothing special. I was content and had no complaints. Apparently, I'm crazy because they were not letting me leave "like that". So, after 20 minutes, the head tech was happy. She assured me that they check ALL work to make sure customers leave happy and stay happy. They even have a 7 day guarantee. Wow!!! I'm ever-impressed with the insanely talented, beautiful women who run this stellar queendom of spas (4 locations across Arlington and Bedford) and the reliable, quality, satisfaction-guaranteed-service they provide. I've never left Glam India unhappy.. I always leave looking and feeling and even smelling better because their products smell so good. I've done a few things here: brow tinting, brow threading, henna, eyelash extensions, an eyelash lift. At this very moment in time I'm au naturel so I'm jealous of my perfectly browed and extra-long-lashed past-self. I need to make an appointment! And I also want to try some new things. Besides what I already listed, Glam India offers a variety of facials, microneedling, dermaplaning, microblading, hair treatments, eyebrow extensions, waxing, and likely more things I'm forgetting..
