Special thanks to the RMR for helping us with finding these guys. Loved Miya the guide and my horse Machos. My wife rode Fish and it was phenomenal for her as well. We really enjoyed the guides common knowledge of the area and her keeping the group engaged throughout the ride. Would recommend and look forward to seeing these guys down in AZ over the winter!

    Beautiful!

Loved this! Great staff. Summer was excellent with all riders. Each staff member you met was friendly. I would definitely recommend!!!!

    2 hour trail rides. Amazing!

The lady I am renting my Airbnb from (Eagle Horizons Mountain Oasis bed and breakfast) gave me a flier and a coupon for horseback riding. Drove an hour to Redfish Lake area to find this small ranch of horses and guides. I, of course, chose my favorite horse - an Appaloosa "Rover" - we became great friends! Our guide was Shelby, she was so nice, and taught us some different things about trees and nature. I chose the 2 hour Ranger ride and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful scenery and trails. No cell service, so make sure to start your directions before you head out there.

We had a great experience with the "lunch trip" rafting package. The guides and other staff were…read morevery friendly and everything went smoothly throughout the day. Staff were very conscientious about safety. The lunch was more adventurous than I was expecting--grilled chicken, tzatziki, couscous, and a vegetable salad, with PBJ sandwiches as an option, and ridiculously good, freshly baked chocolate chip or blueberry & lemon cookies. Our guide Joey was knowledgeable and entertaining. During the day we saw lots of wildlife: tons of trout jumping at caddis flies, a mink, deer, merganser ducks, and multiple bald eagles, golden eagles, and ospreys. The river itself is beautiful. A few tips: You can bring additional food or beverages and leave them on the bus, which meets the party at the lunch spot. Several groups rafting with us brought small coolers with their own drinks and snacks. Probably a great idea if you have any food restrictions. It's recommended that you leave any valuables or electronics (or other water-sensitive items) in your car or in a lockbox with the staff. The guides have some limited room in a dry bag for phones or cameras, but it's not the most convenient to be taking a phone out of the drybag and putting it back in. You will not have cell service most of the day anyway, which was actually rather relaxing. Even the town of Stanley doesn't have great cell service in areas, so you may want to set up an "away" or "do not disturb" notice for the day. Sunblock and a hat are helpful; you'll be in the open sun on the water for most of the day. Highly recommend this company for rafting in Stanley.

I got just the right amount of splashed and enjoyed jumping off of accurately named "Jump Rock" to cool off. Iz even let one of our group members have a hand in guiding during the chill parts of the river - many smiles and laughs today - thank you to The River Company for a lovely afternoon well spent :)

I'm glad I picked Middle Fork Rapid Transit and The Middle Fork river. Great food and great guides. One of the owners (Grant) came along for the first two days of the trip before flying out. Grant often answered the phone and answered all my questions. This is the only river they do and being family owned, is what helped sell me on rafting with them. They even accomdated my camper that I needed to plug in for the week I was gone so the batteries would stay charged. They also offer a discount on return customers. One old timer on our trip came back just about every year. .

The crew was so friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, and went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. We had beautiful trombone music in the evening and again in the morning, signaling breakfast. The food? Well, suffice it to say, I actually gained 2 lbs! Gourmet food...delicious! Everything was so well organized and easy. The people we traveled with have become lifelong friends now. The Middle Fork? Gorgeous, breathtaking...and the guides knew stories and geological information that was really interesting and educational as well. Tim & I highly recommend this trip. You'll love it!!!

Boise Trolley Tours is a great time. The conductors are very friendly and knowledgeable about Boise…read moreand its history. I found it surprisingly fun and enjoyable to ride around town in the trolley, just kicking back and enjoying how beautiful and special Boise truly is. Even if you've called Boise home for a long time, I recommend taking a moment to enjoy the city through a trolley tour.

I bought our tickets online. $20 for seniors, $22 for adults. My brother was visiting from out of…read moretown and our daughter also came along. I believe it's supposed to be a two-hour tour. You meet in the parking lot of the Red Lion Downtowner hotel. The woman at the front desk of the hotel cheerfully told us that the Trolley picks up at the front entrance. She was wrong, and I told a few people that drove up what the lady said. One, a man with a cane, then had to walk to the back of hotel after telling me that he was told to meet in the back. I told the driver, a nice ,older, white-haired man, and he made a comment but didn't seem too concerned. Then it started raining, and with the wind blowing, got pretty chilly. We brought jackets, but it was still cold. No one's fault. The driver has a laptop with a program that he plays, with narration that could have been AI generated, and photos. There are screens in front and midway in the seating area. The first part of the seating is covered on the sides with windows, the back part is open on the sides. There were flaps that could have been brought down to keep us warmer. I don't know why the driver didn't think of that. We sat in the very back, as the front was filling with seniors. Most of the tour was OK. There was commentary on historic buildings and parks, as well as 19th century homes. We stopped at the old Boise Train Depot, but it wasn't open today (only Sunday and Monday, I believe). We drove down Harrison Blvd, through Hyde Park, and past the Capitol building and Boise State University. When the tour was almost over, the driver seemed to be having trouble with his program. He pulled over to the side of the road and we all sat for at least 5, maybe 10 minutes, while he fiddled with his laptop. Finally, he gave up and everyone cheered. For the last 15 minutes, he narrated while we drove, which I'm told was good stuff, but his mic did not have enough volume for me to hear. So, I missed out on that. The tour ended up being about 2.5 hours, longer than I'd like on a chilly day. On top of the cost of the tickets, over $12 was added in "fees and taxes". For that kind of money, a witty, funny, and knowledgable guide should be doing the tour, entertaining the customers. I don't think that I would bring any more out of town guests on this tour.
