Our server, Erik, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He recommended I try their Mango sangria which was house-made, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. For appetizers we split the risotto cakes and crab cakes, and both were delicious. Erik had said his favorite was the risotto cake, and I can see why. For dinner, we split their signature 724 burger, which is a generously-sized burger, plenty for 2, with truffle cheese and caramelized shallots and a truffle aioli (don't quote me on this, I'm describing the ingredients from memory almost a week later. The takeaway is TRUFFLE!), and a side of sweet potato fries. We devoured our burger. We were pretty full but needed to try a few bites of dessert. On our servers recommendation we tried the bourbon bread pudding, and wow. Absolutely delicious. Some places claim to add bourbon to their food but you can't really taste it and have to take their word that it's there, this bread pudding is finished with bourbon so you can absolutely taste it. All in all, we had a great experience. We were graciously welcomed and promptly seated. Our needs were met and exceeded. We will absolutely be back

Ambiance: "Soft Casual", I.e. you feel good in nice jeans, leather and bling. Service: Outstanding! The servers, especially Joe, were attentive without being annoying. Food: Fresh hot bread(s); Generous and fab Fried Calamari and decent Crab cake appetizers (I'm picky being from the Chesapeake Bay region); Excellent Short Rib Pasta and oh so good Shrimp and Crab Pasta entrees! We had the Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream but I wish I had room for the cheese cake and chocolate ambrosia cake! I think the Chef loves whipped cream almost as much as I do! Easily enough food for a family of 4 for two consecutive dinners! I now understand why everyone had take away bags! They have a prixe fixe menu for the remainder of the year so do make sure to stop by. I know I will. (Reservations recommended).

The matzoh ball soup is out of this world you can tell that it's homemade I tried matzoh Ball soup from the island Park diner and it tasted like it came from a can. (the only thing I would ask is making the noodles in the soup a little more al dente) But the matzoh balls literally taste like my grandmother's homemade. 10/10!!!

Equally so, the owners have perfected the restaurant culture of not only providing customers with first-rate quality ingredients with consistent integrity, but also staffing their kitchen and front-of-house service (Liz, her sister and other staff), who are highly cordial, attentive, and friendly, among other professional attributes. There are many excellent eateries in the area, but Sorrento's truly is a unique and a must-experience culinary destination. We highly recommend Sorrento's, you will not be disappointed, from the high quality selections in the "deli" section, to the outdoor area with sharp and friendly servers, to other offerings, including, but not limited to, an ever-changing menu. The pastrami, though, was ... interesting. I asked for it sliced thick. It was tasty and smoky, but it had a very weird texture. It was not like other pastrami I have had. Instead of it being kind of easily "tear it apart" tender, it was very thin and more smooth ... almost like a shaved beef or a slice of ham ... and not tender. Not sure how else to explain it. Another reviewer on Google described it as "rubbery" not tender ... but still tasty. This kind of took away a bit from the enjoyment. I think it clearly beats Katz's. Much tastier. But I've had others that I enjoyed more at Liebman's, for example. Still, not bad. Just that weird smooth consistency.
