We had been living in our home for about a year, and the garage door was starting to act out. We…read morecalled Central Valley overhead door because they left their sticker on the inside of the garage door because they serviced it in the past when the pervious owner lived here. For the past two weeks our door was giving us problems because it would only open a quarter of the way and then stop, then when you would push the button in the garage to get it open again and it would close then open half way this time, but if you use the clicker in the car or the button that you used to program the opener to your car it opened everytime... well not this time, it opened 3/4 of the way and then it stopped then as I was backing into my garage and I hit the top of the garage door. After I hit the garage door, it really act out. I Called Central Valley overhead door and they came out the next day and they did inform us that we would have to replace the whole system eventually, but in the mean time they replaced the clicker in the garage and service the motor, and added another metal brace to fix the dipping in the door and where I hit it with car. They also hammered out the dent to the best of their abilities. I know some day we will have to replace it but for now it works great, better than before, and they were reasonable priced! Had his relative do the job and he did it wrong found out later he put the cut side forward instead putting it in the back. His relative started 1 week before. Now the dust won't fall off the panels. It collects dust and makes mud when you try to wash off, because of the little ridge. I was charged a professional job and got a beginner. Will have to it re-done to make it right. He wouldn't listen to how I wanted he overcharged and the final work lack quality and was unprofessional. Hire at your own risk. I was very disappointed in the job that was done.

And I had 5 bikes, 3 brand new, on my patio and they painted the board with some white paint and the mist from the paint came down on all the bikes. And lastly, they broke my Birdbath in my front yard and claimed it was "like that already" Luckily, I have cameras in my front yard and after showing him the proof, he gave me $30 to buy a new one. Overall, $1,600 for repairs, 5 bikes ruined from paint, I cleaned up their mess and they broke my birdbath. Oh, and almost forgot...they left big pile of singles on my roof in the front.

Last week I called Nick for a quote on a small job for which he made himself available the same day. His job quote was reasonable so I scheduled the work. Today, Nick's team of Carlos and Orlando came to patch, re-texture and paint my kitchen ceiling after having a box light fixture removed and replaced with can lighting. Carlos and Orlando arrived promptly at the appointed time and set right to work. They were courteous, efficient and spoke quietly while they worked. They worked all morning, with one short break, and finished in four hours. This pleased me as I was expecting only one worker and most of the day without my kitchen available to me. The job was a bit tedious as my kitchen is small so that maneuvering ladders and equipment was somewhat tricky. However, they did so without bumping anything or leaving any evidence of their presence. While preparation took just over three hours, the actual painting and clean up was done quickly and neatly. They left without a trail, leaving me with not a smudge to clean. It's virtually impossible to tell the ceiling ever looked any different. The re-texture blends that well with the existing textured surface. Carlos is an expert and meticulous in this regard. What impressed me most was that there was no idle chatter, no cell phone texting or calls and no down time. I heard a phone ring once but it was immediately silenced and work continued.
