I was looking for a super rare gun for months. I called Redding guns late 2019 asking if they had come across. They said that it's probably not going to happen anytime soon. Sure enough just a couple weeks ago (05/2020) they called me to tell me they had one on consignment. Keep in mind, this is a super busy store that would normally have no problem selling this rare piece. Needless to say, I now have it and I am super grateful to Tyler and his team. They are VERY professional, knowledgeable, and just easy to work with. Prices are very fair too. I'll be going back here for any FFL related stuff for sure. read more

Probably one of the most helpful and friendliest gun shops I've ever been to! I'm pretty new to the gun world so I have a lot of questions and I'm thirsty for opinions but most salesmen from other gun stores tended to be pretty condescending and made me feel stupid. Both redding guns and bastiani arms are very polite and helpful. Redding guns has the best prices for new weapons I've seen with bastiani close behind. I found the glock I wanted new at redding guns for less than I could used online! They also installed my sights for next to nothing. Went here to buy ammo, though they were out... nothing they could have done, the whole state is depleted on ammo. The guy working there stayed 30 minutes past close to talk shop and help me out. This shop is the best little gun shop in Redding!! They have a bit of everything from handguns, rifles, shotguns, ammo, holsters and also has 22lr ammo in stock almost all the time!! The owner is an awesome guy who truly loves what he's doing and is willing to answer all questions that are brought up and is very knowledgeable on all the CA laws pertaining to firearms.
