I Called the shop and asked how much to get a muffler welded onto my Engine [estimate 45.00 + shop…read morelabor] Then when I brought my **Bicycle** into the shop to have them Weld on a YZ80 muffler onto a Header to be mounted on the 2 stroke motor. The estimate went up to $120.00 *Including shop labor*. But His welder was out sick, So they had someone else work on it. It sat at their shop for 2 weeks waiting on the welder to get better. by the time the 3rd week rolled around Monday morning I was on the phone and the gentleman on the other end of the phone said he had another mechanic that new how to weld. Would I be all right with him doing the work, I said yes. 3 days later I was told I could pick it up. The Mechanic that worked on my Ride, He's such a Idiot! The welds are blobs and balls & pitted. Worst welding I have ever seen from a Newbie Welder! I had spent 20+ hours getting that Muffler to a Mirror finish and 3 separate coats of High Temp Gloss Black Baked in the oven at 300 degrees for 2 hours and wet sanded after each time before the next coat. It looked like a Black Mirror I loved it! The Welder decided on his own to re-paint my Muffler to it's original flat black using HTP and charged me 2x times the price of A can of High Temp Paint. The Mechanic was using the paint to cover up his poor job of welding. On top of this I was charged 157.29 for him to weld my Muffler & Paint my Muffler. Yes I took a Bicycle to a Motorcycle Mechanic to get a Motorcycle Muffler welded onto a 2 stroke motor for me. I've got over $2,000.00 into this ride. I was shocked at what he did to my ride and the price I was charged, I'll never send anyone to them.

The repair was more extensive then i had hoped but I let my bike sit for several years, so that's on me. I saw a few bikes that came into their shop that had been previously worked on by others, one in particular had missing screws, bolts, and the wiring needed to be resorted. Always find a reputable shop and stick with them. Frank got my bike running like new- bring yours here!

I feel bad for leaving a negative review, Gary seemed nice and it looks like the shop has a pretty good rep but this was my experience. I should add that this was done before I was about to take a trip - so time was a factor. Took my Harley in to get it serviced and have him take a look at a leak. Got it back - it appears in trying to stop the leak he over torqued my transmission plug and stripped it entirely. Dude ghosted me when I tried to call him multiple times, didn't return the calls and the business hours don't mean that he will be there. I thought my primary gasket was no good, I showed him the concern and he replaced it. Told me afterwards it wasn't even broken, but he replaced it anyways. So now my bike leaks more than it did when I took it in, I have a new gasket that I'm not entirely sure that I needed and I'm out 500 bucks. Lesson learned. Ended up getting irritated and just fixing the thing myself.
