The Original Souvlaki - The chicken souvlaki came with fries. I did not imagine it would turn out like this! But it was tasty. The tzatziki in it was awesome!

This place was a bit of a surprise to me; firstly because I never noticed it before hubby took me…read morethere on date night. Secondly - is it me? - there seem to be more "pop up" kitchens, aka food trucks around the city, especially in Stittsville and Kanata (like, not even just downtown); everything from chip trucks, to tacos, and even ribs, which can all be found up and down Stittsville Main Street. So, Hubby knows I like Greek food. He wanted pork, I wanted chicken. They don't seem to do pork skewers, so I ordered him a gyro which had pork in it. The service was friendly. The lineup was a bit long, but it moved fast. The menu was not expensive. Ok, then we got our food. The low-down is this: It wasn't expensive because it was 1 skewer of chicken on what was like a naan bread. It was very tasty, and the tzatziki was really good! But the odd part was that the menu said it comes with fries (both of these sandwiches did), but I didn't realize or understand that the fries were not on the side! I could have lived with fries on the side, but no - they were IN the sandwich, with the chicken or gyro, sauce and all. No, not for me, thanks. If I had known what questions to ask, I might have been able to order better. So, all this to say, it was OK, but I'm not in a huge hurry to go back. :-( Oh, one more thing: because of COVID and lockdown, everyone's house of prayer is closed to public in-person gatherings. The Original Souvlaki is parked in a church parking lot. Don't say I didn't warn you as you went whizzing past it!! LOL

Best Greek food around, friendly owners and very reasonable prices, we love this truck and eat here…read moreregularly, wish it was a permanent fixture year round but it is seasonal!

Thailicious - 3/5 Drunken Chicken. Decent post work out meal but very basic. No sauce for some reason. Missing Thai flavor.

1st visit was last Fall, also a 3 star experience. Tried it…read moreagain today, 3 stars it is. I love supporting businesses like this little food truck in Stittsville. I like the location. (Tucked in on same lot as the Re Read Used book store) Food can be ready in 10 min. I called ahead this time. I ordered a drunken chicken dish that someone had posted was good. I had just worked out so the veg and protein was welcomed. Took it straight home. No sauce. Hmmm. Made the dish very dryish/bland and was something I could have made quickly at home. No Thai zing. A wedge of dry lime. No nuts. Not spicy as requested. It was ok... I ate it all and usually I save half so the portions may disappoint you. The veg and chicken were fine. Noodles, pre cooked/ very overcooked. I would not get this dish again but I'd like to return and try something else another day. $12.50 plus I left a tip. Price = reasonable. I wish they had remembered to pack some sauce though.

Tow Hod Tod: The tofu was crispy and sauce served separately. The sauce is an amazing concoction of Thai chilis, peanuts, fish sauce, sugar and more. Serving the tofu separately was key to keep it crispy until you drench it in the homemade sauce. Make sure you pour all the sauce on-top of the tofu, really gives the tofu the right flavour. Pad See Ew with shrimp: Probably the most flavour I've had in a Pad See Ew. Amazing flavour, all the veggies, eggs and rice noodles took in the flavours very well. Was pleasantly surprised with this dish, would recommend! One note, the Pad Thai was a bit too sweet for my liking, would steer people away from that one.

Thailicious - Drunken Chicken top spice level 3 for heat. Not bad but they used pad thai noodle and not the desired wide noodle.

Service is quick and friendly, and we have been blown away by Chef Reggie's generousity and community spirit. Perfect side of the road food truck vibe, but with gourmet eats.

I noticed when I receive the food in the box that the box was very light meaning there was not much pulled pork on the sandwich or probably not much fries. When I opened it up I noticed that the fries looked very good and properly cooked. A taste of the fries revealed they were excellent. I unwrap the pulled pork sandwich and took a bite and the first thing I noticed that there was no sauce on the sandwich at all or so little you couldn't tell. Also the amount of pulled pork on the sandwich was at most very average if not a little on the low side. I've had a lot of pulled pork sandwiches especially at the bbq rib fest downtown and to be honest this is at the lower end of the quality and quantity spectrum. There was nothing wrong with the sandwich except for the lack of meat and little to no sauce but it just was nothing great. There was only two items in the box, the sandwich and the fries and the sandwich was rather weak. Overall, grudgingly, I'll give it a three stars but there's room for improvement here.
