Just simple and limited options. I tried on some shoes, I was in and out in 25 minutes. I just needed shoes for work. What I will say was lovely was finding wide sneakers. I was today-years old finding out I was a size 9 wide. I had gotten sneakers as large as 10.5 because that's all that fit my odd-shaped camel feet lol (especially Converse Chuck's). Growing up I didn't think anything of getting shoes with an inch of space for my toes. My mom always bought shoes that I would grow into so they would last longer, and I continued to shop this way as an adult. I am embarrassed to say this was probably the first pair of proper-fitting shoe's I've ever bought. Well, okay, two pairs. I wanted one pair for work (I work in healthcare and I step in all manner of bodily fluids and gross sh*t all the time, I just avoid getting anything splashed on my kicks at all cost) and one for walks. Anyways a thing that bugs me is being asked to sign up for the loyalty program. I'm tired of being asked that, I buy sneakers once a year (if that), and I just want to buy stuff without being asked for my phone number and email address. No one cares about loyalty programs anymore. Otherwise, open area with plenty of space, a lot of brands available, and geared more towards options for women.

The store exudes goth ambiance with soft lighting to highlight clothing and great music. I wish I knew the woman's name who helped my daughter put together outfits. She was very kind and made my baby bat look like a million bucks. She's so pleased with her new pieces. We'll definitely return on our next visit. If you're in Salem you should check them out - being able to see and feel the clothing firsthand is so important and something you can't get from buying online.

They carry brands that also supply plus sizes. I was able to find things to try on in store and try on. I don't often get that option. I really wish I had more time to look through their stuff. Another thing that I adore about their storefront, some of their items are also local. I bought two books from local writers. They also have local clothing brands and I just adore this. The people who worked here were so friendly and helpful. I bought myself a lovely red duster. They knew their product well and was able to help me no issue. Items in this store are on the higher end, but its a small price to pay to be able to try on the clothes in store. That is just not something you can get online. Overall, we want to go to Salem again. I will make a point to stop by here again!

And " there's no point to alter the strap because your foot will slide." When I handed over the shoe, they were still strapped together. I had offered to help him undo the strap, and he decided to look at me and go "What" with a rude demeanor. He then punched a hole into the strap, not listening to where I wanted. When he handed it back to me to try it on for sizing. I realized that it wouldn't slide anymore because he ripped the inside of the strap. I handed it back to him so he could fix it and instead he decided to cut it more and add another hole. The right shoe now has more holes than the left. When me and my mom were talking he kept saying that the right shoe would need another hole and decided to just punch it in without my knowledge. I didn't think he would do something without my okay, but that was furthest from the truth. He not only didn't apologize for the damages he caused. The whole time that I was in there he seemed very inconvenienced and it felt very rushed. I could tell he just wanted to do it as fast as possible so we would leave him alone. He could have told us that he didn't have time and to either make an appointment or come back later. I am happy I wasn't charged, but he caused damages that I will never be able to fix without having to redo the whole strap. I wouldn't be able to buy this shoe again because they no longer make them. Although the damage may be small to the inside it was more the fact he wasn't kind from the beginning and I never got an apology from his mistakes. I understand that he has done this for a long time and knows what he is talking about however he took what I said and completely disregarded it and chose to do whatever he wanted.
