Timely repairs were appreciated, too. Both times I've had our truck in to Riverside Automotive Repairs I've been impressed with the workmanship, knowledge, and speed the shop provides. I'd been told by several Frontier owners (the truck is new to me) that a synthetic transmission oil might help a little with the truck's cold shifting. David couldn't come up with the oil that had been recommended, but I was impressed enough with his knowledge of the problem and the vehicle that decided to go with his recommendation. He was dead-on and the truck sifted like a dream after the old oil was replaced with a 75-90 weight synthetic. He got that job done and fixed the rattling heat-shield(s?) on the truck's muffler in less than an hour. A couple of weeks later, I brought the truck back to have the glitchy Viper "security system" removed and the truck's electric doors returned to stock. The rewiring job was professional and done right. I was able to get my new stock Nissan remote door units to work in the driveway and I couldn't ask for the work to have been better or for a more reasonable price. We've just moved to Red Wing and it is really nice to know we have a great shop nearby.

Before coming in, I called ahead and was told the dealership was slow and that I would be taken care of. Since the dealership is right down the road for me, I decided to stop in and take a look at a few vehicles. I have been test driving a number of vehicles recently, and I made my situation clear from the beginning. Throughout my visits, I explained multiple times where I was in the buying process, and I was still encouraged to come in. The team was very accommodating at first, which I genuinely appreciated, and I made a point to thank them and acknowledge my situation. I was able to test drive quite a few vehicles and everything was going well. However, when I was about to look at another vehicle, a sales manager pulled my salesperson away to assist a different customer who had just arrived to purchase. I completely understand prioritizing a sale, but what didn't sit right was that no one else stepped in to continue helping me. When I asked if someone else or the manager could assist, I was told they were too busy and asked to come back another day. That experience was disappointing, especially after calling ahead, being transparent about my situation, and already spending time at the dealership. It felt like once I wasn't an immediate sale, I was no longer a priority. What concerned me even more was that, in their public response to my review, my personal situation was referenced -- something I had only shared in a private conversation. I did not feel that was appropriate. Overall, I understand how busy dealerships can be, but the lack of continuity in service and the handling of personal information led me to take my business elsewhere.

I thought, nah, I will be alright, I can take it in tomorrow if it happens again. Fast forward another mile, I am pulled over calling roadside service because my car is now making a bizarre sound and shifting weird. I sort out everything with RA and they text me that Statewide is coming to get me and drop my car off at the dealer (yes, the one my dumb arse passed earlier). He showed up within 20 minutes, packed it up like a champ, had a lively conversation in the cab (again, saving me from a total tear fest - who needs car trouble), dropped it in the dealership parking lot like a champ (no scrapes, scratches, damage, just parked neatly like it never happened), and waited for me to fill out my key drop ticket. I have worked with a couple towing companies in the past, but the passion with which Statewide Towing showed for serving its customers tonight won them a spot in my favorites/contact list. I pray I never see Allen again under bad circumstances, but I am happy to know if I need Statewide Towing again, they will be there and ready to roll. Outstanding job!     (Dark Windshield Tint Requires Medical Exemption at Sun Control)…read more I honestly couldn't recommend a better place to get your windows tinted in Minnesota. I went to Tint World first, and they quoted me $992 "after discounts" for the same package I got here at Sun Control for a much better price. That alone made me feel good about my decision, but the experience sealed the deal. This isn't my first time coming here--on my last car, I got their entry-level tint, which was decent for adding some privacy. But this time, I went with XPEL XR Prime Plus, and the difference is insane. If you've looked into XPEL, you already know it's top-tier and comes with great benefits, but what really stood out was the team at Sun Control. They're super easy to work with, clearly focused on making sure you're happy, and they had my whole car done in about 3 hours, including the front and back windshields. What really impressed me was their attention to detail. My car has a third brake light that's inside the rear windshield. Without me even asking, they hand-cut the tint, and it looks perfect--like it came from the factory that way. No rough edges, no misalignment, just clean and precise work, leaving the light bright and visible. That level of care isn't something you get everywhere, and it makes a huge difference. I can see other shops disregarding something like this; and I wouldn't even have noticed. I did a ton of research before getting my tint done and came across a lot of horror stories from other places, so I was a little nervous going in. But Sun Control absolutely delivered, and now I've got nothing but a great experience to share. I seriously think this is the best place in the state for tint. Plus, they back it up--a 2-year warranty on their work, and the film itself has a lifetime warranty. If anything happens, they fix it at the shop, no hassle. If you're looking for a place that does quality work at a fair price without the runaround, this is it.

Called Lemon Squad and paid the $330. 2 hours later the inspection began. Results were in my email 36 hours later. Inspector did a thorough job and included 72 pictures including one if the code scanner results. They also measured the tread depth of each tire and included all findings in an easy to ready report. Lemon Squad saved me the disappointment of flying to Illinois in winter to pick up a sports car only to learn the tires were barely legal after the dealer ad and salesperson repeatedly assured me that everything on the car was mint. The dealership has since refused to replace the tires (3/32nds) or discount their price as they are selling the 2001 Corvette Z06 with 22,000 miles as-is. Thank you, Lemon Squad, for helping a guy out.

We ordered the inspection Thursday evening. On Friday, they communicated with the dealer they would be there Saturday. No show. The salesman said he called him, no answer. Monday, at 6:15 pm, they showed up, 45 mins before the dealership was to close. The truck had sold that evening. Super disappointed. And now the email said due to the "effort already put in", we can't have our $$ back. $300. We do, however, have a 90 day window to try again. This truck was super specific and very hard to find. Very disappointed.
