Amon and Red Triangle were awesome. It was four hours to closing when we called them and said we wanted to change to their service and that one of their rival propane companies had already removed their tanks. Tomorrow is the 4th of July holiday. Amon came over and said they could be here Wednesday morning but he did not want us to be without Propane so we are hooked to a 35 gallon (100 pound) tank and he made sure we are good until Wednesday. We had another company for years before we switched to Red Triangle due to their lower price. It's been about 4 years now with Red Triangle and we plan to stay with them. Every time I call in to schedule an appointment, their customer service has been wonderful. Sometimes they are pretty booked and when I'm reallly low on propane, they will still squeeze me in their schedule and will deliver on time. Service/delivery staff have also been great too! I am not happy about the service. After all, I have no choice but to continue service. My mother made an appointment for a refill on Friday morning, CSR confirmed the driver will be by either Friday or Saturday and give my mother a call when he is on his way. However, the driver never showed and it's Tuesday. Well, I decided to make a call to the CSR / dispatch but no concerns why the driver missed my parents house. It seems as though this company may need to hire an operation manager that can monitor and evaluate each drivers progress and reconcile the drivers daily service trips with prior service calls which they state is "1st come 1st serve" system. I was at work and my mother would stay home today from work to wait for a driver to refill. I had no access to the meter so I drive home to look at the range and it is at 5%, I then called the dispatch to let her know. Finally, after all the back and forth she has dispatched a drive to come by today. Dispatcher has instructed, "you should call us when your meter is at 15%" - "But we have family's with kids calling in for emergency this winter for refills so they have to be the ones first!" - wow! On a cold, rainy afternoon a few weeks ago, the heat stopped working at my 88 year old father's house. He had forgotten to check the propane, and it was completely out. When I called Red Triangle, the dispatcher said it was too late to send anyone out that day. Worried about my father spending the night without heat, I asked her to make sure someone got sent out the next day. An hour later, Paul Denney and his assistant Conrad, unexpectedly appeared. They were filling up Dad's tank! Paul said he knows how old Dad is and wouldn't let him suffer through the cold night. Thanks Paul! Your kindness is very much appreciated! Another company had already installed a propane tank at our new build when Sales Manager Amon pulled up to introduce us to Red Triangle. He looked at our tank and said that the regulator was too small. Sure enough, we sparked a leak and it was like pulling teeth to get the other company to come out and fix their mistake. Red Triangle to the rescue. One phone call to Amon and the entire calvary was on their way. They put aside the tank for the other company, set their tank, Amon installed a new regulator and had the tank filled just in time for our final inspection. This was a very smooth transition and we are extremely pleased with the tenacity of Amon and the entire team at Red Triangle. This is NOT the first time. I request a day advance notice so I can pin my animals up. Haven't gotten that yet. I schedule a window of time from 8am-12pm. Noone calls, dogs are put away it is AFTER 4pm and no one shows up. I try contacting the office at 4:15pm (they are supposed to be open until 4:30) nothing g but voice mail. Since they have gone under new management service and communications is HORRIBLE. Price guarantee isn't honored either. Our family has done business with them for 50+ years. Jim Shehady really needs to get a handle of his business again. So very disappointed in the lack of service. read more

I was a 20+ year customer of a national brand propane provider. After researching propane companies I found Red Tiangle Oil (RTO) to be MUCH cheaper. They were VERY helpful swapping tanks and guiding me through this. During the tank swapping, I spoke with Jaime regarding gasoline delivery. He detailed the process and helped me choose a gas tank location. Although RTO does not lease gasoline or diesel tanks they connected me to a local tank manufacturer. After aquiring a gasoline tank, RTO agreed to place the tank on the stand with their equipment! During the logistics of this I worked with Jaime again. He is very reliable, knowledgeable, communicative, and competent. There were some minor challenges scheduling the tank placement but Jaime kept me well informed. Jaime, with another RTO tech set the tank on the stand with skill and speed. I am now a VERY happy Red Triangle Oil propane AND gasoline customer.
