If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Extremely rude, ill-mannered staff. Will never go here. Big mistake.

Delicious food, generous portions, reasonable price and halal. What more can you ask for?read more

Visited 6 June 2026…read more Overall, we had a good experience. Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza, but there is plenty of available parking, including enough space to accommodate 18 wheeler trucks. When we first arrived, the older employee seemed a bit intense. He encouraged us to take our time reviewing the menu, but remained nearby watching us before we ordered. He also came across as somewhat aggressive while my friend was placing their order. After another customer voiced a complaint and left, his demeanor appeared to improve and the remainder of the visit was more pleasant. The food portions were very generous. We ordered the goat with chapati, which resembles roti skin, and two people were able to share it comfortably and leave satisfied. We also shared the king fish and rice, which was excellent and still left us with leftovers. Another friend ordered the tibis with spaghetti, and that portion was large enough that leftovers had to be taken home as well. The menu described the tibis as spicy, but we did not find it spicy at all. The food was flavorful, the portions offered great value, and there was plenty of seating available. While the service could have been more welcoming at the start, the quality and quantity of the food made for an enjoyable dining experience overall.

So I've never had African food before so I was excited to see that this place was opening so close…read moreto my house. My fiancé and I ordered the Okra Soup with Tilapia and the Suya with Jollof Rice. We got our food really fast, but the Okra soup was served with pork instead of tilapia but we didn't mind. That was so good. It was served with a side of White Yam Fufu which is kinda like mashed potatoes but more gooey. By itself I wasn't too fond of the Fufu but with the soup it was good. The Suya wasn't bad. It was really dry beef, kind of like a beef jerky consistency. That came with a side of salad. I don't think I would order Suya again only because I'm not a fan of dry beef. I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes! Our waitress was super nice and welcoming and we did ask her for her opinion on what to order since we had never had African food before and I'm glad we did!

I am not sure what has changed but this weekend I had a very disappointing visit. The service was…read morefriendly but once I got home (45 mins away) I realized I was definitely hustled. I ordered mix meat stew with jollof and received literally 2 pieces of edible meat and 1 non edible piece. Egusi had a weird taste but garri was perfect. For $60 to cover 2 take out orders, I felt hustled. The food was already packed up so I guess if I had stopped and checked before leaving, I could have asked for the rest of the meal because there is NO WAY this is what would be served if I was dining in.

We arrived to this restaurant/hookah bar around 7:15pm. A waiter came to assist us immediately…read morewhich was great. They will offer bottled water as if it's the only option since there is a charge associated with it; however, tap water is available for free but you have to request it. We ordered around 7:31pm and received our food within thirty minutes. Because this is a hookah bar, the tables on the restaurant side are very low. You'll have to lean forward and down if you have the food delivered to you there. We were sitting at the low tables first but decided to head to the bar so we could actually sit at normal table height to eat. The steak kabobs were cooked too hard. They didn't ask how we wanted them cooked and we didn't think to tell them medium, so we just dealt with the overly well-done. They had a good taste, but they were just really tough to chew. The jollof rice with chicken and plantains was absolutely delicious; however, one of the chicken legs was really dark on the inside which made me not want to eat it, so I left half of that leg on the plate. I did dump the jollof rice into the sauce that the chicken sat in though because it was amazing. I loved the spice it added to the meal. The taste of all of the food was phenomenal. The jollof rice is definitely the star of both meals.

Simply horrible!!!!! I ordered two plates of jollof rice…read morethrough Uber Eats, and both were clearly spoiled. The rice smelled awful and showed obvious signs of being stale. It was completely inedible and unsafe. The plantains were just as disappointing. They appeared cooked on the outside, but the inside was still raw and undercooked. It's hard to understand how something as basic as plantain could be prepared so poorly. To make matters worse, Uber Eats did not provide a full refund, despite the food being unfit to eat. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. My experience was extremely disappointing, and the quality of the food was unacceptable.
