I have been taking Spike (Terrier/Wolfhound Mix) to The Grooming Palace for a few years now. Spike…read moreis typically a dog that gets real nervous going into groomers due to the noise, commotion, and overall anxiety of it all. When he arrives at The Grooming Palace he runs to the door without his leash and does not hesitate to enter. This just goes to show the level of trust and comfort he has for the staff and environment. Not only is he satisfied when he is there but I am always happy when I pick him up. He always comes out looking and smelling great. Whether its just his standard puppy cut or other services done I have always been happy. When it is time to leave Spike always runs back to say bye to the staff and is always given a treat. Based on overall cost, performance, and most importantly the security and happiness of Spike I recommend this groomer to anyone. I have been elsewhere and can attest that I have paid far more for a less professional cut.

Selecting a good canine hairdresser is just as important as selecting a hair dresser for myself…read more I've cut my own hair before and I also decided it was a good idea to groom my dogs myself. We didn't just take any old scissors and went to town. I did my research and bought professional grooming clippers, this was all in the attempt to save money. Even having the right equipment on hand we still butchered our American Eskimo's fur. Our 15 year old Fluffy looked like a lawn mower ran her over. I wish I were kidding. So to my review... I've been going to Animal Attraction for several years now, even before the DIY grooming "incident." They are always professional and do a fabulous job washing and grooming, and cutting our two American Eskimos nails. They smell heavenly after visiting Animal Attraction. The owner has been in business for several years and she has plenty of experience grooming dogs. When the dogs are groomed, rather than caging them like some of the larger chains Animal Attraction will let well-behaved dogs run around the main room and play. I've gone to a handful of groomers around the North Shore and Animal Attraction is the best by far-they are my go to groomers. Prices are average. Book appointments a week in advance, slots get taken very quickly. Oh and Fluffy's do is now fixed thanks to them!

My phone call with Katelyn put me right at ease and they got me in the morning of the next day. Everyone was SO nice. My dog, Hero, tried to leave with me and they were very good about waiting for me to get out the door before taking him out back. They did a beautiful job and I am so happy I took him here! Thank you so much, Hero and I will be back!

He ended up loving it and now every time I take him he gets so happy. Compared to other places, their prices are affordable and the staff is truly caring. The process was was very professional and I was confident Beau was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Aintree to friends and I will be going back closer to the spring time to get Beau groomed.

I am, for lack of a better phrase, a psychotic dog mom who treats her dog like a child. From the second I met Jen and Cindy, I felt so completely comfortable leaving my dog with them for daycare every week. They are EXTREMELY knowledgeable, friendly, and they treat your dog as a member of their family. My dog absolutely loves the time she spends there and it's actually hard to get her to leave. She knows what day of the week she is going to daycare and will wake up at 4:30am and sit by the front door until it's time to go. I have only gone on vacation once since I got my dog, but knowing that Free Dog's boarding services are available to me has made me much more willing to plan some more getaways. They are quick to respond to any emails or calls I may have made checking in on how things were going, and are always posting pictures to facebook so you can see what your dog is doing while you're gone. Their expertise and love of what they do makes me so grateful to have found such a wonderful company, and I truly look forward to dropping my pup off each week. The staff at Free Dog has exceeded any expectations I may have had and they have made doggy daycare not only fun for my dog, but for me as well.
